Hera Hotel  

The location is perfect, close to Acropolis and a metro station ( quite usefull when taxidrivers are on strike ! ) Air conditionning always appreciated in summer, and a lovely garden restaurant with breathtaking view on Acropolis ! and nice service !

The room we had was small and wall facing.....

This was a wonderful hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. The Peacock - the rooftop restaurant - was excellent. The rooms were very nice and kept exceptionally well.

Nothing - great place in a great location.

The room we stayed in was excessively warm. (March 2012) We had the heating switched off completely but it was still far too hot in the room. It was bearable when the balcony door was open but noise from the street meant that we had to close it at night - and roast!

The hotel was in the center right next to the new acropolis museum. It had car parking so we cold leave the car at hotel and take advantage of the public transport which was right by the hotel or walk everywhere since it is in the center. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was worth waking up for every day!!!( I couldn't eat again until dinner!)

Just a few remarks. The rooms do not have wireless internet access so my laptop had to be in a fixed place. And for some reason there were no plugs in the bathtub so although all rooms have baths you could not have one! When I asked for a plug they told me they would send me one. We stayed for 3 days one never arrived! Other than that we had a great time I would recommend

I think the manager should be more carefull.We didn t have internet conection in our room,we had to move in other room in the second day.In that room was very cold,we had to complaine,they fix it,but in the next day was the same...

Staff: friendly, helpful and courteous Location: Within walking distance of many things we wanted to do Breakfast: Very good options and your time of operation was great. Size: We like the smaller hotels like yours where as customers we are not forgotten or overlooked.

The carpets were very stained so it made you think not clean. We stayed one night on the first floor and it seemed to have more staining and the white walls did not seem clean. The other 5 nights we stayed on the 3rd floor and it was really just the carpet that had the stains. Our beds were clean and so was our bathroom. Even with the stains we would definitely consider staying with you again if we came to Athens. The only other concern was the glass ware as we felt it was wiped out but not exchanged for new glasses each day.

Good location, great restaurant, late checkout, clean

The staff at the Hera were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The room was luxurious and quiet. The hotel is well placed for sight seeing, shopping and eating.

Good location for shopping and visiting the Acropolis. Great staff and good rooftop restaurant with great view of the Acropolis.

Room was very small and compact.

We have stayed here twice now. Both times just for one-night stop on our way home. This time they upgraded us to a room with large balcony with Acropolis view. The best thing is undoubtably its proximity to Acropolis and Plaka. Secondly the roof-top bar and restaurant. It is also reasonably undisturbed by traffic.The personell have both times been very helpfull with small arrangements.

Why are hotelbeds in Greece som hard?

Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location. The rooftop open restaurant was excellent and had stunning views of the acropolis close by.

Parking facility does not accommodate vans small cars only so you have to park off site..... Pain!!!

Les chambres qui nous ont été retenues étaient très petites et non contiguës comme nous l'avions demandées, Peut être, le fait de passer par booking.com , permet aux hôteliers peu scrupuleux de "caser" les chambres les moins agréable ?
