Herodion Hotel  

Excellent Hotel and staff were very accommodating especially for guests like us arriving very early and departing later. Our request for a room with a view of the Acropolis was honored and very much appreciated.

Expensive mini bar in room.Tea and coffee making facilities would be welcome.

We liked the decor and the convenient location. Also, our room was comfortable and clean. The food options on the premisis were a plus as well.

The common areas are confortable and really nice, view from the rooftop is great. Most of the personnel was happy to serve you. If I were to stay again, I would take a room with the view to Acropolis. Location was ok, close to old town restaurants & shops & Acropolis, everything within walking distance, quiet area.

The room without the view was nothing special, didn't quite like the color of the corridor, room was ok clean but still I had the impression it wasn't cleaned fully - only the "visible and obvious" things. If you wish to stay right on the spot for shopping & night life, would be more convinient to stay closer to the center square. Wifi should be included in the room price.

I enjoyed the restaurant facilities at the hotel including the wonderful breakfast. This set me up for the day and was always fresh and delicious.

The noise from the roof top spa interupted the peaceful setting of the hotel especially when young people decided to use the facilities at night.

Excellently located hotel, in a quieter, cleaner part of Athens, yet only walking distance from most of the main tourist spots and very close to metro station. Clean, quiet and well appointed. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Roof top views to die for.

Internet access was advertised as free during booking but was not. For a hotel a this class and price range should have been included in the price of the stay. Rooftop facilities not available during our stay (in winter, over christmas).

This hotel is wonderful. They are courteous, helpful and friendly. They accommodated every single need I had. One example: my adapter did not work with their recessed plugs. They immediately came up and saw my need and brought what I needed to fix my problem. They truly put forth a customer service I have never seen in the states. This could be because of a culture change but I do not stay anywhere else when I come to Athens. I get lost very easily and their location is one I am extremely comfortable with.

Peaceful, quiet, spotless, comfort, helpful. The best beds in Greece. Great Breakfast. Dinner menu limited but excellent preperation.

The internet services could be free. While using internet services it was on a timer and cut off during some business work.

Convenient location, within walking distance to the old part of town rather than the city center where all the international branded merchandise shops are. Lots of nice little restaurants close by. Easy to take a nice evening stroll or morning walk around the foot of the Acropolis. Breakfast was quite good and in a nice setting. The decor and setting in the lounge area and the bar was lovely.

The coffee in the morning was so weak, it did not taste like coffee. Staff was efficient but a little cold, although not unhelpful when approached.

Fantastic central location with views of the Parthenon and within easy reach of shops and restaurants... Has a nice roof top hot tub and bar area.

Views of Parthenon also comes with a school play ground. Schools have to be somewhere but bear in mind school starts early and kids can be loud!!!
