A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located near the picturesque Plaka neighborhood. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.
Score from 2133 reviews Very good
Right on Monastiraki Square, just steps from Monastiraki Flea Market, 360 Degrees features a roof bar- restaurant with panoramic views of the city and the Acropolis.

Score from 1720 reviews Excellent
This hotel has a prestigious location in the historic heart of Athens. It has 4-star facilities, excellent views of the Acropolis and Temple of Olympian Zeus, and fine cuisine.
Score from 691 reviews Excellent
excellent location close to the Acropolis, its museum and Plaka, great buffet breakfast with a lot of choice among which fresh orange juice, amazing rooftop overlooking the Acropolis
some rooms are less comfortable than others (single rooms and the ones overlooking the courtyard). They are small and the ventilation system can be noisy.
Wonderful staff, excellent breakfast bar, plenty of good art on the walls. No negatives at all and would happily book there again.
Great location, very nice restaurant on the top floor, helpful staff, balcony in the room
A bit expensive but it was worth it, room not too big but with great view on Acropolis
The staff was very helpful and very friendly
The rooms are well isolated to the outside bur not to the inside 8so it can be loud if groups wake up very early in the morning)
The position was great.
perfect location and beautiful roof terrace with stunning views. Personnel was friendly but no personal interest in the guest. Very comfortable bed but small. Very clean room. I love to come back but would appreciate a better room.
I had the last room in the hotel which was very expensive. The room was very small to work a bit (I came for business). No view at all from my room, opposite room could easily look in my room so I constantly had to close curtains
Hotel has a super lux location, Akropol very close and Acropol Museum next door. Breakfast is the best ever a had. Also roof bar and restoran are very good, with very tasty food and amasing view.
Room for that price could be bigger, like 1 m one side and 1 m another side, but this is a minor thing.
- location - staff - nice reception and roof top bar
- room was like a hostel. Clean, but cheap
Fantastic welcome from the staff. Loved our room. Very comfortable bed. Staff were very accommodating as we wanted to stay a few hours longer than our check out time. Breakfast was super delicious. The view from the top floor of the Acropolis at night is utterly magical. You can walk to the Acropolis in ten minutes up the hill early in the morning. You are close to the old town.
Nothing. Every thing about the hotel and surroundings was absolutely great. Can't wait to go back and stay at least three nights and really explore this wonderful city. Only thing I would say is that wi fi costs extra to use. For the price, I think it should be included and freely available in the rooms.
The Location is excellent for the Acropolis, and metro system 5th floor terrace café has wonderful views of Acropolis. Very good breakfast.
Sound proofing in rooms not very good. Décor a bit shabby, needs an upgrade Shaving mirror mounting in room 108 needs repairing.
Location Staff Breakfast Terrace and patio
-Staff at the front desk (very friendly & informative) -Cleanliness -Facilities -Rooftop bar
Location, staff, amenity, roof top restaurant, wifi and computer facilities
great staff. deck lounge with views and great cocktails. hot tub with the city views.
LOCATION, VIEWS, STAFF, ROOFTOP RESTAURANT.
AIRCONDITIONING, WHY IS IT THAT ALMOST NO HOTEL CAN GET IT RIGHT, TURNED TO LOWEST SETTING IT WAS STILL WARM IN THE ROOM
Breakfast buffet was perfect. the view from the restaurant is also a great sell.
The A/C was noisy (the fan was brushing against the casing)
Very near to Acropolis and Plaka shopping area. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Bar on 5th floor has great view of the Acropolis
No swimming pool. Room is a bit small.
We were able to visit the Acropolis early in the morning, the amazing museum for lunch. The Greek Riviera for afternoon swim !
The staff were very accommodating. I was travelling alone with my young son, and we arrived after a very long journey from Australia. The staff were fantastic getting us into our room, taking care of the luggage for me, even bringing my dinner down to our room, after he had a bit of a melt down from utter exhaustion. They were also happy to give us a late check out which was invaluable to me at the time. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again! The Location was excellent! The Acropolis at our door step, with its park area which was an excellent place for my son to run around, he even climbed the rock of the "Areo Pagos". The location gave us easy access to everything in the city centre.
Can't think of anything negative
+ location + kindness of staff + room + breakfast + facilities (terrace on the roof)
Excellent staff. Nice location, nice roof top bar.
Poor breakfast. Room was a bit small. Poor bathroom shower/bath. Noise from adjoining room.
Wonderful location near the Acropolis and Plaka and Acropolis location.
View from roof is an A+
Nice acropolis view from room.
