Holiday Inn Athens Attica Av, Airport W.  

The airport shuttle was really convenient for getting to and from the airport. The hotel was beautiful and the room was very clean. The staff were great and extremely helpful. We were very happy with our stay and would absolutely stay again. They had a nice pool, a workout room with water, a sauna and showers near the workout room for after. The room was pristine. The restaurant in the hotel had great food although a little pricey, and there is also a bar. There is a bus that takes you straight into the center of Athens from just in front of the hotel for 5 euro. Very convenient.

The internet was incredibly expensive. 13 euro for 24 hour access.

Location and clenliness.

Location, great transport to airport with the shuttle bus. Easy access to buses for down town and bus deport . Staff very helpful ,room very clean . Ever thing you want . Breakfast just ok. Not much to do within walking distance .

Location, food and decor

The minibus service from the airport was terrible. There is very little information about it. I waited for 45 mins and never got the bus. In the end I took a taxi which cost 18 euros which was extremely expensive. However, from the hotel the mini bus service was good.

We used the Holiday Inn Athens as an overnight stop before moving on to the islands in the morning. It was very clean and the room was spacious and well-lit. None of that creepy feeling when you stay in an old hotel. Also, despite its location near a highway, it is quiet. I would recommend it to anyone who has to be close to the airport. The best part is the free shuttle.

40 minutes from city center connected by bus line, only 5 euros

We stayed at the hotel because it was closest to Athens airport (although still 10 minutes by shuttle). It is a nice hotel with all facilities. We had to change our booking due to the Greek ferries strike and the hotel did this happily. They didn't try to hold us to the original date. Their shuttle bus system worked well. We had a very quiet room.

It is quite expensive. Internet access is e13/ day for example. The hotel is next to a service station which has snacks and coffee at very reasonable prices if you want to chose this option.

Good international hotel, enough said :)

I wanted to save a couple of EURs and choose this hotel rather than Sofitel. However, I have spent almost the same in total considering that I had to travel to the city and to the airport using the public transport (eur 5 per trip by bus), since shuttle bus does not operate after 10pm. WiFi is very expensive. I would hardly call this hotel "an airport hotel", since the distance is about 15 km.

No wireless internet in the room. Shoul be there for such a hotel

The hotel is acutally quite far away.

Fairly close to airport. Free shuttle. Rooms very nice and spacious compared to other hotels in Athens.
