Great hotel for those on a budget in mykonos. The staff was nice enough. The manager of the hotel showed us a nice restaurant and even drove us up the hill and dropped us off. The amenities are sufficient. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and comfortable. The location is amazing. 30 seconds from the beach. We paid 12 € a day for beach chairs and umbrellas from some place on the beach. We came to mykonos for the beach and psarou beach was perfect for what we wanted. We recommend heading up the hill to a market and getting food and snacks. We bought our beer and soda and other things for the daytime on the beach. It saved us a ton of money from buying them from the places on the beach. The hotel room had a fridge and was so close we would just walk and get a cold one when we wanted. There is another beach just east of psarou with a lot of restarunts. Also, for 1.60 € you can take a bus to town and get a gyro and shop for the day, other than that, stay at the beach, it's amazing. Psarou Beach Hotel came through for us. We enjoyed our stay and have nothing but positive things. I know others had complaints before and we were a little apprehensive after reading the reviews after we booked, but have no fear, it was pleasant, and for the price, you won't find anything in the area.
Staff were very helpful, great room we had the suite. Psarou beach was amazing.
Steep walk up to bus stop.
The second room which we were given was much better which did have an actual sea view. The room was clean and spacious with an excellent baclony. The sheets were clean. Staff did apologise during our departure. If the staff was more courteous and we had this room from day one we would have given a totally different score.
First room (#14) they gave us had used bed sheets and a smell like sewerage drifting through the room. Bathroom ceiling had mould. Walls and floors were dirty and unwashed. Room was too small for 2 people. Garden view was more like the view of the back of another building. Staff did not apologise for any of the inconveniences and would not even respond at times. Breakfast time was inconsistent between different staff members.
Loved the location
Very poor facilities, most of them non functionig including the toilet flash. Most unhelpful and rude staff, parking a real nightmare and grossly unfriendly to animals.Breakfast unacceptable, the worse we ever had.One would preferably sleep in the open air and save a considerable amount of money
My boyfriend and I just departed from Psarou Beach Hotel. Not even sure how to begin describing how amazing this place was. To start, Anna and the rest of the crew were so welcoming and accommodating. Any request we had was met with a genuine attempt to help us out. The room was beautiful. Perfect size, equipped with a powerful A/C unit, small yet effective fridge, and a spacious balcony that had a wonderful view of the hills and the sea. Psarou beach hotel is less than a 30 second walk to the beach. It's the closest hotel to the beach. For those who are interested there is a "bourgeois" cabana bar called Nammos right on the sand, with plush chairs right up to the water. Although it was now our taste, it was still a spectacle. We went there for drinks one night and it was nice (good service, but expensive). The water is beautiful, clear blue, and the beach was never crowded. You can rent 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella for €12, although we found our towels to be quite sufficient. There are ample places nearby to rent ATVs for €25 for 24 hours, remember to bring your license!! Anna will even call one for you and it will pick you up at the hotel. We rented an ATV and explored the island. I would HIGHLY recommend this. It was the highlight of our trip. (We went towards Panormous beach to a smaller beach called Agios Sostis where the restaurant Kiki can rightfully boast the best food on the island, accompanied by an indescribable view of the water and hillside). There's also a fully stocked bar at the hotel, and Anna is happy to fix you any kind of drink or shot you can dream of. My boyfriend and I are not big party people and Psarou was perfect for that reason, but I'll note that the place was so easy going that you could easily have drinks at the hotel or the beach and have a great time. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice enough hotel, staff did accommodate 4 of us in a room when they didn't have too. Was good enough for the one night. If i were younger and had no kids then maybe would have been better.
Psarou Beach was not for us! jampacked during the day, pumping music from beach front bar, loads of yachts in the bay, not a great beach for kids. Our mistake!
Im travelling around europe for the last 6 months and I have been in all kind of hotels, good ones and bad ones... If you want my advice, the one thing I can assure you, is that you will regret to stay in Psarou Beach Hotel. Ok, the location in Psarou is great, you will be near Nammos, nice restaurant and night club. It is the cheapest hotel in the region, because Psarou region is very expensive, but it is still expensive considering what you will get from the hotel after paying for it. The pictures from the hotel displayed on booking.com are the pictures just from bedroom number 1 and bedroom number 2. All of the rest are completely different. There is a terrible bathroom where the size of the space you have to shower is 40cmx40cm. You cannot move inside the shower area. But above all, THE WORST PROBLEM OF THIS HOTEL is the staff. You definetly will find them the most rude people ever. Only the recepcionist lady who was very sweet. The guys from the parking have no respect at all and they will treat you as if you were some miserable friend of him. Also, there is no one to help you with your luggage (we asked for help for the receptionist man and he was totally rude saying that he was not a "luggage man" and that he would not help us. The wi-fi is terrible!
The location was fantastic. The young lady running the place was very polite and helpful.
The husband was a bit abrupt, the balcony door was broken and he wouldn't fix it, the toilet broke and the bathroom is extremely tiny and uncomfortable.
Location to Nammos and the beach was at our doorstep. The staff made you feel like family after the initial check-in and they ordered us food as well as organised our car rental. Hotel rooms were cozy and clean. The breakfast was delicious and authentic. We enjoyed watching the World Cup with the other guests in lobby.
The wifi connection They could promote the bar area more
All the staff were very friendly and very helpful-willing to help and boy time! Clean rooms with a good breakfast.
Difficult to get to and from the main town
Nothing about the hotel
Very small rooms with a terrible view. Rooms are dirty and extremly uncomfortable. Breakfast is very poor and the same every day.the stuff is not friendly at all and doesnt interested in guests and absolutely useless. Ill not recomend this hotel if you want enjoy your holidays.
Great location, right on the beautiful Psarou beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and always available to give tips and advice. They also gave me a transfer back to the airport for a small fee. I had a great room with a view of the sea and mountains. The room has everything you need, fridge, tv, hairdryer, air-conditioning etc. It was very peaceful and quiet at night, I always slept well!
Shower a bit small and pillows a bit hard. There are not many restaurants open late at night on Psarou beach, but there are plenty on the neighbouring beach nearby.
- Dirty & smelly room - disgusting bed sheets - very strange system, if you open the balcony door - the electricity does not work - breakfast very, very poor - basically white bread and the cheapest cheese/ salami one can get
