Central location to specialty shops, central sites, and transport. Helpful staff and very adequate continental breakfast. Comfortable room.

No info in the room (but just ask) and no tea and coffee facilities

Good hotel, well located in the center of athens not far from ermou street and syntagma square. Staff great, room excellent

No parking, nearest parking is about 10min walk, breakfast buffet a bit light

The location is excellent, very central but quite, at least our room not on the street side. The room is convenient and clean, the same about a bathroom.

Very friendly and ready to make you feel at home

The staff were friendly and honest. One morning I left my bag and forgot to take it with me after my breakfast. It was only when I got to my room I realised I had left my bag at the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant, the staff actually kept it for me. I had my passports and 1,000 Eu inside. In my countrry it would have gone missing. The staff too were very friendly.

A bit of heating at night would have helped.

Great central location. Easy on the wallet. Comfortable, clean rooms and helpful friendly staff.

The elevator to go to the rooms was too narrow to take multiple luggage bags for multiple people.

Location is the only plus of the hotel. Rooms were neat.

Very cold staff. We had mentioned during our booking that we were on our honeymoon - we got a twin bed room. We were not looking for freebies but just to feel special. But even a smile was far from it. I left my phone in the safe and they didn't even have the courtesy to return it. (Yes, I'm 100% sure I left it there).

The locality and the fair rate

The mattresses were not of a standard suitable for a nice rest at night. Further more I have got no complains.

We've stayed at the Achilleas on several occasions now, usually as a stopover before going off to the islands. It is however in a great position for visiting many of the sights of Athens, being close to both Syntagma and the Plaka district. We have always found the staff to be pleasant and friendly. Rooms are large. It's very handy for travelling on to Pireaus being a short walk to the Metro at Monastiraki.

Location was not too bad - quite central

The only comment that I can give on Hotel Achilleas is that the photo's taken and placed on the Internet is deceiving and way overated. They advertise a 2 bedroom Hotel Room for a Family, but our room was nothing like the photo's advertised, infact we did not have 2 rooms, we a Bedroom with a door and the other 2 beds were in the passage between the bedroom and the bathroom. Although the sheets were clean, the bedspread was old with cigarette holes and when you sat on it you started to itch. The breakfast area is totally inadequate and when certain foods where finished they did not have anymore to replenish the plates, also the staff serving the breakfast, none of them could speak an inkling of english. On the whole, although we only stayed there 1 night, we were expecting an upmarket hotel for the price we paid, but unfortunately I have to say were were sorely disappointed.

The hotel staff very good and helpful to describe every thing which you want to know about Greece. Hotel location is very excellent just 5 minutes walk to Syntagma Square and Ermou street. Great dining restarants are available nearby.

Wi-Fi available only in hotel lobby. No shower curtain in shower area which make all floor wet with water.

Close to most things in Athens

Very slow Internet and the bath room had a very small bath come shower with no shower curtain, which always covered the floor in water.

Helpful staff good size twin room.

We chose to stay at Hotel Achilleas because of the great experience we had staying here two years ago. We were not disappointed. The staff, the room (for a family of four), and the price (which included breakfast) were all great. The hotel is located next to the parliament and it is only a short walk to the Acropolis and Plaka. We would stay here again and I strongly recommend it to anyone.

There was nothing we did not like.

It is a really very nice hotel. When I spent the time in this hotel. It offered very delicious breakfast. Later. what really impressed me is that after leaving this hotel. I forgot my Louis Vuitton bag in the save. I really did not realize that. When the hotel sent me an e-mail to ask whether I have forgot something in this hotel, I remembered that I lost my bag, It was so nice that they helped me to send my bag directly to China. The client of this hotel is good. Everything is very good. So I love this hotel.

The breakfast was excellent. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean. Location was excellent.

It is conveniently located near Syntagma, Plaka and about 20 min (walking) from Acropole. Also there is a nice area for shopping. The rooms are quite big and the staff very helpfull.

Wi-fi is accesible only from the hotel lobby.

Location to major tourist destination in Athens. Staff is good and accomodating.

They have problems with their wi-fi during our stay.

City centre location

The hotel staff is terrific. Because we checked out in the early morning before the breakfast starting time, they prepared special fast breakfast for us. I appreciated it very much. If I visit Athens again in the future, I will choose this hotel again for sure.

good location

Very friendly staff and very centrally located.

We chose the hotel as it claimed to have parking facilities but parking was about ten minutes' drive away. T this was disappointing and misleading. Otherwise the hotel was centrally located with helpful staff and good breakfasts. Rooms were OK.
