Hotel El Greco    

As always the staff were attentive and one of them recognised me from my previous visit. Rooms are spacious with sunshine on the balcony overlooking Egnatia Street.

Ask for a room on the back of the hotel if you dont like traffic noise as this street is probably the busiest in Thessaloniki.

No complaints, I liked it all in general.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good location.

Breakfast is the same every morning with basic ingredients. It is hard to get a parking place. The street is very crowded and you have to be a good driver :).

Very nice hotel in the center of Thessaloniki, only few minutes walking from Ladadika bohemian area. Veru easy access from airport (bus No 78) and ktel Halkidiki bus station (bus No 45). Mostly all town atractions worth of visiting are in walking distance from hotel. Nice, clean rooms, great bed, antialergic pillows, fantastic breakfast. Hotel staff very polite and friendly.

Rooms at back side of hotel do not have nice view from balcony - they look over some old and ruined building, but very quiet though.

The hotel is perfectly located, very clean and the stuff is helpful. The rooms are quiet and spacy.

The breakfast is poor with no fresh vegetables and fruit. Parking is not included, you need to park at a nearby private parking and pay extra price.

We had reservation for 3, one of our friend could not make it. So they charged us 2 bedroom price. It was my second time in this hotel and I defiently recommend it.

Breakfast was fine. Hotel location was perfect very close to main city attractions.

Hotel rooms were noisy due to busy front street even we stayed at 6th floor.

The locations is very good. Breakfast fair. Good internet service.

The noise from the streets. The noise that ca be heard from other rooms. You book for a double room and they give you a twin one always.

I liked that the room had a balcony and that the hotel was close to the city and that I had city views. I liked the fact that the hotel was walking distance from everything.

I did not like that the toilet did not work properly and that the curtains the white ones looked dirty and that the colored ones did not hang properly (of their hooks) I was in room 707

Excellent location at the centre of the city, friendly staff, clean rooms, hot shower water 24/7! Great value for money! Will definitely visit again.

Breakfast was great

Last time we were in this hotel we had great impressions. Unfortunately this time we have been given a not so comfortable room.

Location is the main characteristic. It is close to the center and on the main road (Egnatia st.) very close to all the means of transportation. The hotel is decent and it offers parking (for an extra fee) and a very good breakfast buffet (with eggs, sausages, fruits and cold cuts (cheese / ham etc.)

It didn't have a double bed although it was mentioned in the booking.com site. The toilet was dripping and the bathroom was always full of water. We were offered to change room but it was rather difficult to move all our stuff for just one day.

This was our second stay and we are returning again in May. The room is spacious, the balconies are sun traps and it is great to sit and top your tan up on them. The location is on a busy street but the location is excellent, walkable from the train station, 600 metres from the airport bus stop and ideal to walk to the port and town centre. Cleaned daily and with use on a of and printer (free of charge) when needed to print boarding pass.

I was supposed to be on a non smoking floor (floor 7) but for the last two mornings, woke up with the smell of tobacco in my nose. I did ask reception about this but they said it is difficult to stop Greeks smoking. This should be no excuse, there are no no smoking signs on the walls (these need to be added) and I think smoke detectors should also be in place.

Too much noise cant sleep because of traffic all night long.

A good hotel - parking was a bonus though 10 euros per day extra - but as location is city centre its perfect. Easy walking distance to all places of interest. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean and ideal for short stays. Internet available in room (was on top floor and no probs). Also had 2 pc's n printer in lobby for guests free to use. Breakfasts a buffet and had usual continental foods and hot buffet. All in all a great hotel and facilities for a city break
