1.From desk staff to the boss, no matter men or women, every one is nice. 2.Lobby is big and bright, seating there is comfortable. 3.They give us late check out until 4pm. 4.Rooms face mountain view.

Super Staff! Super Service!! Best experience ever!!! Here is the real story: We came to Kalambaka to visit the great Meteora on 1st May, 2013. After we check-out, we planned to take the train to Athens. But when we get to the railway station, there is nobody at the railway station and only a note of one English word "Strike" on the window!!! Then we tried to call the hotel for help, their boss drove to the station personally in 10 minute. He helped to translate the rest of note on the windows and told us there is no train that day!! Then he drove us to bus station and ask for alternative way to Athens. And we missed the last bus to Athens (What a bad luck of us!) But he helps us to find a taxi driver to take us to a nearest city Trikala to take the last bus to Athens and he even tried to negotiate a good price for the taxi!! Thanks to him, we finally got to Athens that night with only 1 hours later than the train. Thank you very much!! This is the best hotel that we have ever been! I highly recommended for you guys!!

very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. the view is amazing we shut at the balcony to enjoy our dinner and coffee very close to the center of the town and all the shops.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They helped us plan how to get to and from the mountains which was very convenient.

Not much of a breakfast selection and our shower was only lukewarm.

This hotel is well located and breakfast was very good. Even had an omlette. The view from the window was excellent.

I spent a wonderful week in Kalampaka, and enjoyed my staying at this hotel greatly. It has a convenient location, with a bus station to Meteora outside. On my arrival I got a map of the town and all monasteries and recommendation about visiting the monasteries. It was very useful. Everyone at a hotel was extremely nice and helpful. A young lady from Holland Angela does everything with great service. She is very charming and friendly and speaks English fluently. They let me feel I was at home. I got better service than in some five star hotels. The room was very clean and had a balcony with the amazing Meteor view. The beds were very comfortable. There was a small fridge, tea and coffee facilities in the room. In the morning the guests had good breakfast with freshly made coffee and omelet as well as cold cuts, cheese, fruits and vegetables. I loved yoghurt and honey. They served me delicious fruit dessert. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were so helpful with all the things we needed and tips on sightseeing. They upgraded our room without being asked to and gave us a room with a fantastic view. They were very warm and genuine people. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The best staff in any of the hotels we stayed on this trip in Greece - they just could not do enough for us. On the arrival a full map of the town and all monasteries was given to us (with opening hours), explaining the best routes and best way around them. Hotel is a destination in itself - over the top ancient Greek style. Fantastic! The room itself was perfectly fine for the budget. On the main street with four minute walk to the train and bus stations. The morning bus to the monasteries is stopping just outside the hotel. Our room had a view over the mountains and monasteries. Extremely strong WIFI in the room and the the lobby area. Good breakfast with freshly made coffee and omelette as well as cold cuts and cheese. Overall a fantastic experience - HIGHLY recommended.

Staff is nice and welcoming

Room soundproofing is zero. You can hear people of other rooms closing and opening their doors at any time, difficult to sleep. At 9 in the morning housekeeping women are shouting from a room to another and listening high volume radio. Wifi works at 40 % with disruptions.

This was a delightful experience, led by a superb staff. Everyone was beyond kind and incredibly helpful. The attitude of "we want to solve your problems and make your stay as great as possible" was clear. This isn't a luxury hotel, but the staff treated me as if it were and I happened to be the hotel's most important millionaire client. The breakfast was good. The Wifi worked. The aircon cooled. The elevator went up and down easily. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean. The location made it possible to get to the monasteries fairly easily. I have nothing negative to say. I will recommend that everyone I know put Meteora on the list of must-see places. I will tell them that Hotel Kosta Famissi is the place to stay. A friend recommended it to me, and she was right. I took the bus from Thessaloniki. The stop was directly across the street from the hotel. On the way back, the stop for returning was just out the back of the hotel. Perfect location if you don't have a car.

The ambience, it is a warm little hotel. We liked the service given by Christos at reception and during our day of staying. When the staff heard we booked via booking.com, they went a step further to make our stay more pleasant. Christos even offered us a complimentary CD with the surroundings.

THe breakfast was not good. It is basic and poor.

The hotel is very old. The breakfast is awful and very poor - in fact impossible to eat something.

Great help and service, they gave me advice the place of nice view in Meteora. Also they arranged taxi and told taxi driver where I want to go for me in Greek. I could stay and do sightseeing with comfort thanks to them.

We loved Hotel Kosta Famissi. The decor is Greek and playful, the ceiling is high, the location is perfect (if you're visiting Meteora), there is basement parking, the rates are very reasonable, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are good. I would especially like to thank Christos, who welcomed us on arrival and did a fantastic job to make us feel at home, to recommend to us where to go, and to sort out some minor WiFi problems we were having. We recommend the hotel to everybody visiting the area.

The restaurant could be improved, but on the other hand the hotel is in the middle of town and dozens of good restaurants are within easy walking distance.
