I don't know whether is a negative because its seclusion is what makes this place what it is. But, for those of you reading my writing, I want to be helpful in your decision. If you are looking for the convenience of being close to the better beaches, or the town, maybe this is not the place.
But, then again, Im sure, that even heaven is not perfect!
After reading all the reviews and ratings, I was a bit perplexed as to all the praises and superlatives to describe this place. When I got there, we were graciously greeted by the owner's daughter, and we decided to take quick walk to the local beach. It was marbly, or even rocky to certain point, not the impression that I wanted to start with a Naxos's beach.
However, all the wonderful adjective starts with the people who runs the place, they are simply amazing. They make you feel just like home, only that it makes you feel as if you just came back from long absence, you can feel the warmth, the care, and humility of the hosts.
Its infrastructure might not be your Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, but their hospitality is unmatched by the best hotels in the world. Their care and love for their guest is not based on a thoughtful and ingrained training of the chain hotels, their treatment of their guest is borne out of their hearts. You can feel it!
The food is amazing, made out of freshest ingredients picked right out of their orchard. Your mom could not have cooked a better meal. Have a dinner, you will never forget it; it will be branded well into one of the best memories of not only a vacation, but of a life.
I can say that my brief stay was one of most pleasant times of my traveling history. I hope to come back one day and be able to embrace these people who just know treat and care for their guest.
You gotta to go to find out what people have so difficult time in describing in words. But, you will feel it, and you will love it!
