The hotel is close to the port, it is easy to find, I would only recommend it if using it for a stopover because you have to be at the port in the early hours, wifi did work but it was very slow.
The bathroom had an awful smell, it looked like it hasn't been cleant in a while. There is a lot of stairs so you have to drag your own luggage up those spiral stairs, the tv didn't work
Everything. It was a slum.
The location to the port is great. The rooms are relatively small, especially the bathroom. However as a stop over point to getting a ferry it's location and price are definitely worth it.
We were staying on one of the upper levels and the wifi did not reach there. However this was remedied by simply using it in the common areas
It has a good location, close to the port and metro. If your lucky, you'll get some free wifi access.
The room is small, the shower is on top of the toilet and the bed is so uncomfortable, it's like sleeping on balls of scrunched up newspaper (in fact, the newspaper would probably be more comfortable). This place made my €22 a night, 2 star hotel in Athens feel like 5 star accommodation... and that's saying something! Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to stay.
good location, at a good price
Location is the only +, everything else is BAD.
Shabby, dirty, run-down hotel. I'm a smoker myself, but room smelled awful. Would be acceptable for 15 EU a day, not for 35!! Pay 4 EU more and stay at super clean and nice Argo (Argo and Anita). No credit cards, no elevator, unwelcoming stuff. Oh! and did I mention shower over the toilet bowl? No shower cabin, no ANY separate shower space - you have nearly sit on a toilet bowl to take shower, and... then wait till it dries??? And we used to stay in cheap hotels, but this one is NOT CHEAP, and at the same time worth then anything I've seen. Beware!
Good location, right near the port. Could check in at any time.
Unfortunately we had BED BUGS and were up half the night killing any (which popped with blood in them!!!) that we found on our pillow and sheets. Could not sleep because I felt like I was crawling with bed bugs!
/very close to the port to board the ferries
Attendant had a comment about our reservation being at a cheap rate. No elevator and had to go to 3rd floor. Very cramp room and tiny bath room. Caulking grossly applied in Bathroom. Paint peeling on the ceiling. Head light above the bed had to be operated with a string. Had requested 3 single bed. Was given a double bed and a single bred
Is a good hotel when in transit from the port to the airport. Unexpectedly quiet being right opposite the port and a good night's sleep was had in comfy bed.
-Very close to the Peraeus so very efficient if you need to take the boat -Very cheap for Athens
-Not so clean
very closed to the port
The staff were great
The hotel location is in the center of Fira, which is perfect to see what is around. The stuff was very helpful, smiling and kind. The owner of the hotel transfer us from the port to the hotel for free which was very kind of him. They help us with recommending really good rent a car company and also travel company for the island excursion. The room was very clear, hot water, good WiFi connection. It is very good restaurant which is above the hotel so if you are hungry, you can have delicious dinner or lunch there. The price was very good for the value so I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who want to stay in the center of Fira close to all the restaurants, bars, shops and the amazing caldera view!
very close to the bluestarferrie and aeroportbus, friendly womans as stuff.
Please, hotelstuff, put always the moscitostick in, because my husband were been very attac from so many moscitos.
Good location and very lovely staff
If you have a problem with rooms that smell faintly of stale cigarette smoke, you wouldn't like it here. However, for €30 you can't really complain!
very dirty, dated, no elevator. one of the worst hostel I have ever been.
The noise/ le bruit The price/ le prix. It was 18euros for 2 persons on booking.com but we had to pay 30. And the room for 4 persons, 50euros instead of 28euros.
Able to check in when I arrived after midnight. Cheap, only €30.
The whole place seemed run down, poorly maintained and rather seedy. No glass in window - just a metal shutter over a hole in the wall. Missing light bulbs. No top sheet - just a lightweight duvet without a removable cover.
Great location only a few minutes walk to the port and the X96-bus to and from Athens airport. It is a very simple hotel with no facilities, but the if you are aware of it it is a good place to stay due to price and location
