the studios were slightly outside the main town which made them peaceful (apart from the cockerels which the mangement had no control over obviously). Nice pool with country views. Cheerful maid and helpful managers. the kitchen equipmewnt was minimal even by Greek standards - no chopping board so cut marks on the table, no colander/seive, no mixing/salad bowl, no plastic or wood spatula hence scracthed teflon from guests using metal items to turn food. |

Ikaros Studios is a nice place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. In fact, when we were leaving to catch the morning ferry, the owner even offered us to drive us there since he was driving in the area anyway. It's also not much of a walk to town or the beach from Ikaros, and it's a nice quiet place to retreat to for the night. |

Myself and my partner stayed for 8 days at the Ikaros Studios. We have never stayed anywhere with more friendly staff / owners, and everything was maintained and cleaned better than anywhere we have stayed - I thought the place was brand new but it's been going 14 years! |

Very friendly , symphatic and helpfull owner . Comfortable accomodation , very nice & clean swimming pool . 5 minutes walking to the beach , 10 minutes walking to the center . Very calm atmosphere , no disco noise at all . |

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Quite near the beach. Not to much far from city ceter. Fantastic pool. Near the supermarket. And you can cook too. Beds could be more confortable. |

This is a good hotel in a calm place away from the main town of Naxos. But it is far from the Ferry. So you might end up paying more than staying near to the beach. The stairs are very small so if you have a big bag, you will have huge problem as I had. |

the hotel staff was friendly except for the one who answered the phone when I called to inform them that we were unable to make it since our ferry was canceled due to the strike. He stated that we were still responsible for the cancellation fee and questioned us if we tried to catch other ferries or flights (hello...didn't I say all ferries and flights were canceled due to the strike?!) too dark in the bathroom. The 10-minute walk to the town center was a bit scary. |

Very friendly and helpful staff. They picked us up in the half way from the port to the hotel when we got lost. Comfortable, well equipped rooms with clean bathrooms. Great swimming pool. The owner drove us back to the port after our stay, which was very pleasant surprise. |

Due to one way roads it seemed a long way from town by taxi but taxi only cost 7 euro from port. An easy & nice 10 minute walk into the town/port area. Beach a 5 minute walk. Safe on streets at night. Hotel has big swimming pool very well maintained with plenty of chairs/umbrellas. Our room had small balcony with table & chairs. We paid 65 euro per night in July which was excellent value. As always pillows were pretty average but hosts supplied us extra pillows. |

Location- Located on the borders of the main town, it was close to everything, yet not in the middle of the crazy buzz..So you could still sleep at night without hearing crazy tourists yelling in the streets. The pool was also very nice, at the hotel itself was kept very clean. The owners of the hotel were also extremely helpful and kind. I would definately return~! |

The owners are very helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and always clean; not far from the centre: if you rent a bike or a car it takes only few minutes. |

The pool was the main feature for us.. Great to have one on such a low budget. Town was walking distance away and a supermarket only 3min walk. Staff were great and the atmosphere was relaxed. Not a huge problem but havnt the Greeks heard of a double bed!? Everywhere we stayed had two single (usually hard wooden framed) beds just stuck together |
