눉First of all, the hotel lobby is in fact a tiny place that can't handle multiple arrivals or departures, especially when someone is in a rush.
The feeling when you go in the entrance of the hotel, is that you are about to enter an obsolete building without contemporary design and equipment to fulfill your needs.
The reception desk is quite uncomfortable to place your luggage and it has not a personal computer (as far as i noticed) to organise the reservations and print the receipts for the guests.
And there's yet - unfortunately and contrary to my intentions - a lot to come:
The hotel provides only one elevator and it's very small, only for two medium-sized persons. It is easily understood that you'll have to do much time to accommodate to your room and go up with your luggage.
The lighting of the floors, the staircases, and of the rooms is somehow not well mixed and can be described as a bit dissimilar.
Even though i mention in the positive comments the availability of armchairs in the common places, i have to say that they are well-aged, repelling someone to sit on them.
About the interior of the room, the electricity is available only through the special card, but it's attached to the key of the room so someone can't leave for a while and have the mobile/laptop charging in the meanwhile.
The most disappointing part of the room, was the lack of neccesities in the bathroom.
It hadn't a railway in the shower, and not even a single grip for the towels except for the rail that they were initially placed.
The washbasin was quite large but the closets were too worn, as well as the surface to place a wash bag.
There wasn't a single soap (!!!!!!) to wash hands, only a few small shampoos, not enough in my opinion to take a good shower.
There also wasn't an adequate ventilation system and the small window was in fact a hole for the dark air shaft.
눇I would like to mention the spacy room that i've been given, even though it was intented for a single-bed reservation.
The location of the hotel is nearby the majority of city seightseeings and a lot of bus lines that are going through Egnatia avenue, can transport you reliably to them.
Inside the hotel, the common places have a lot of armchairs and therefore a guest won't be standing while waiting for someone. I noticed that the common places and the room, were very clean and my impression is that the chambermaids do care pretty much about their working place.
Also, the tv monitor provides a lot of channels (except for Nova channels) and there's an airconditioning unit that can make you feel more warm or cold without any nasty odours.
A large mirror and a nice curtain give you a sense of a warm room.
I have to report on a well dressed and polite blond receptionist. She kept for a few hours (after my check out) a nice present that i wanted to give later to a friend of mine, and it preserved it in a safe place, like it should.
Finally, the quality of sheets, blankets, towels and bed, is fair enough in comparison to what you are paying for!
