It's a traditional house with a beautiful courtyard, where you can have breakfast under a large olive tree with cicadas chirping overhead. It's located on a small, peaceful square, a short distance away from the busy port area. Stay here, it's simple, but magical.

Ευρύχωρο μπαλκόνι, σχετικά καλή θέα. Ωραία αυλή για το πρωινό Αν και το ξενοδοχείο είναι ανακαινισμένο και καθαρό, τα έπιπλά του είναι παλιά και κάπως στριμωγμένα μέσα στο δωμάτιο. Οι κουβέρτα και το κουβερλί πολύ παλιά και τα σεντόνια και οι πετσέτες πάρα πολύ σκληρά! Να πάρετε τα δικά σας σαπούνια! Το ξενοδοχείο δε διαθέτει φύλαξη αποσκευών και ντους μετά το check-out. Ξενοδοχείο περιορισμένης αισθητικής, για διαμονή χωρίς πολλές απαιτήσεις...

L'hotel est très bien situé. A 5 mn, du port donc au calme. L'accueil est excellent de la part du patron et du personnel.Nous avons été traités plus en hôtes qu'en simples clients. La chambre, bien qu'un peu petite est très propre et bien équipée. Celles du second étage, bénéficient chacunes d'une vaste terrasse avec vue sur le port d'Hydra et sur la mer. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et variés.

Für uns war es ausschlaggebend ein Zimmer mit Terrasse und schönen Blick über Hydra zu haben und das hat das Ippokampus zu bieten. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist sehr einfach und die Betten eher unbequem. Die Badezimmer sich auch sehr einfach und es riecht aus den Abflüssen. Ansonsten ist es ein schöner Platz mit einem schönen Innenhof und einer guten Lage. Das Personal ist bemüht, spricht jedoch kaum englisch. Wie gesagt, die Einrichtung ist sehr spartanisch und die Betten hart und man spürt die Metallfedern in den Matratzen. Es riecht aus den Abflüssen, aber dies ist wahrscheinlich auf der gesamten Insel das Problem, da die Häuser sehr alt sind.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel, la situation de l'hotel, au calme, et les petits déjeuners authentiques et vraiment très bons (merci pour les croissants chauds et les gateaux maison !!). C'est notre second séjour dans cet hotel et nous comptons bien y retourner... Une seule petite remarque: la climatisation à l'extérieur sur la terrasse est un peu bruyante, il vaut mieux ne pas avoir une chambre tout à coté....

η αυλή μικρό δωμάτιο χωρίς άνεση για τις αποσκευές και την πρόχειρη τοποθέτηση των ρούχων, δεν υπάρχει απλώστρα για πετσέτες και μαγιό. οι πετσέτες του ξενοδοχείου είναι παλιές και τριμμένες. το κρεβάτι τρίζει!

Vi bodde på et flott, røykfritt og renslig hotell, der vi fikk veldig god service og hjelp til alt vi spurte om. Det var kun frokost på hotellet og den var enkel og grei med mange lokale pålegg (som hj.laget sitronmarmelade). Hver dag ble det byttet håndkle, vi fikk tilgang til data via Wifi og det var aircondition i rommet som fungerte godt.
