Irida    

Olimme hotellissa syys-lokakuussa kahteen eri otteeseen. Hotellista hienot näkymät merelle ja /tai kaupungille. Venetsialaiseen satamaan pääsi merenrantaa myötäilevää kävelyreittiä pitkin, 15–25 minuuttia. Luvattu Wifi yhteys toimi. Sopiva tukikohta kaupunkiin tutustumiselle.

Hintaan sisältyi kohtuullinen aamiainen. Henkilökunta olisi voinut paremmin täydentää buffetpöydältä loppuvia tuotteita.

The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The cleaning service is perfect.

All the staff are extremely welcoming, courteous and friendly. Every request was handled efficiently and they were very helpful in advising on trips, buses, directions or any other information that you requested. The breakfast buffet was extensive and seemed to cater for all nationalities so there was always a lot to choose from! The smell of freshly baked bread every morning as you began to wake up, wafted through the hotel ...... wonderful!! There are lovely views of the sea from the two huge picture windows in the breakfast room. The bedroom was scrupulously clean and very comfortable indeed with an excellent daily maid service. Swimming towels are provided by the hotel for the beach, at no extra cost. The hotel's location is very convenient in that it's possible to walk everywhere, such as to restaurants, the beach, parks, bus station, the 2 harbours with their multitude of cuisines on offer and to the Old Town, within about 20 minutes of the hotel. I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, was particularly impressed by the cheerful, obliging staff and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

It is a quite hotel, newly renovated with beautiful sea view.

We requested a double bed and we received two single beds put together.

The room i had (104) was a bit small, not spacious for two people... the hotel is far away from the city centre but if you have a car, the distance is not an issue..A bit expensive though, considering if you are given a small room such as mine

The airconditioning was good. It is a fair hotel overall

I didn't like the toilets, there was no ventilation and I didn't like the blankets they were almost as bed sheets.

Easy walking distance from the harbour and old town and probably ideal base for a touring holiday as it is on the edge of the town. Unfortunately fell during my stay which necessitated a visit to hospital. All of hotel staff were most sympathetic and helpful-far beyond that which might be expected.

Staff was extremely helpful, room was very nice and quiet (despite being near the main road).

It's quite far from the city center (they say it's 10 minutes, but for me it felt more like 20-25), going back and forth to the beach / to the market / to the restaurants was exhausting. Breakfasts are rather disappointing.

This is a great hotel, very clean, modern, with easy parking around. The walk to the old harbor is a little lengthy but was not a problem for us.

It was our first trip to Chania, Crete. My wife and I wanted to stay at a good/clean hotel close enough to downtown Chania, but not in the busy downtown (tourist) area. Irida hotel was within our budget and it was perfectly located within 20 minute walk of the old city harbour. Our room was clean and it had a nice balcony with a great view of the sea. It was amazing and it made our mini vacation a really wonderful experience. We were pleased with our stayed and we are already planning to go back to and stay at the Irida!!!

Expectations were not fulfilled. Room was far away from what was described with pictures in Booking.com web pages. Superior room was small and very old, air conditioning didn't work at all (we paid for the room with it anyway and temperature was more than 30 degrees). We had reserved a triple room and we arrived at night with a small child and there wasn't baby's cot or extra bed in the room, though that was especially confirmed for us by booking.com.

The hotel was very clean. It was also close -not too close- to the city centre, so you could enjoy a walk from the sea front towards the Venetian port.

The breakfast was fairly poor. Should have a wider option of coffees (only filter coffee is served).

Great well designed rooms, lovely sea view, on edge of Chania made parking easy, with pleasant ten minute stroll into town along sea front. Very hospitable. Loved it.

This hotel is very nice for people who are looking for a good price accomodation and quality...my room had a beautiful view of the sea, it was very clean. Staff was helpful and polite I will recomend it!

mmmm, maybe the breakfast can be a little bit better....but with all the options and delicious food in Hania i wasnt really worried.

Neat and clean hotel, probably newly refurbished. One of our rooms had a leaking drain, and they changed rooms as per our request without any fuss whatsoever. That was really appreciated!

Breakfast was very disappointing! We had to ask for hot water to make tea, however the hotel staff were more than willing to assist us. Milk was also off and variety of breakfast items was quite limited.

Irida is an exceptionally good hotel. The hotel is recently refurbished, public spaces and rooms are furnished with good taste and quality and everything is clean and functioning. Service is very friendly. The location is excellent with the sea/mountain view and within minutes of walking distance from the harbour area restaurants and bars. Street noise is sealed outside the rooms and the hotel is very quiet - many guests seem to be local business travellers. Breakfast is tasty and quite adequate. The best Cretan restaurant Pinaleon is just around the corner and was recommended to us by the reception.

Gentillesse de l'accueil .jolie décoration moderne.tres agréable.pas trop loin du centre, 10 minutes à pied de la vieille ville. Facilité de parking.bon buffet même si le jus d'orange ne correspnd pas du tout à l'endroit qui croule sous les orangers!!!
