Irini Hotel  

great location near the airport and windsuring stations. very pretty surroundings / garden, nice pool and surprisingly good restaurant with very tasty food, even some that was not on the menu. also, staff is mostly excellent and friendly. owner cares about his hotel and appears to be constantly working on improvements (asked for feedback, friends noticed a lot of improvements compared to their stay some years ago) hotel definitely spreads "holiday feeling". has a very good reputation in karpathos. relatively modern rooms and cleanliness was ok.

for once this hotel looks nicer on the outside than on the inside, opposite is usually the case. there were no double but only twin beds with the dreadful crack. felt a bit nickeled and dimed with upsells for everything, fridge 3€ per day, a/c 8€ per day, wifi at cost (different plans, not much, but still), things that are normally standard and included. when paying for wifi, i expect it to work reliably in the room which it did not, signal was too weak. was ok near the pool/restaurant though. shower had some problems both with pressure and controlling temperature. no room service on sundays. because everybody skips the extra charge a/c (we did as well), result is open doors and windows which leads to moskitos... and it shows on walls and ceilings.

Facilities are excellent

Bin ziemlich zufrieden ausser der Chef ist einbischen unflexibel!Mann kann einbischen Kompromisbereit sein wenn eine Person nicht alle Tage in Hotel war (wegen diese echt schlimme Streik) und trotzdem verlangt alles zu bezahlen!MFG

Rent och fint hotell med både pool och havsbad

I beskrivningen för rummet ingick kylskåp men för att använda detta fick vi betala 21 EUR/vecka.Vi bokade ett enkelrum, ett dubbelrum och ett familjerum I början av mars. Familjerummet avbokades efter ca 1 vecka vilket vi fick bekräftelse på. Men när vi kom till hotellet påstods att vi skulle ha 5 rum vilket tyder på att kommunikationen mellan bokning och hotell ej fungerade. Vi behövde ej betala för felaktiga rum.
