the view and the surroundings ........
the view is amazing value for money is excellent staff is helpful
we didn't get the rooms we booked, but most of us were upgraded to honeymoon petra which is very good and with same great view
The accomodation is average at best. I was booked for 4 nights. The first 2 nights were in Irinis. Then was asked to move to Spiliotica units, about 500 metres from my friends. Not impressed.....
I don't know where to begin. They double booked our room, manager wouldnt talk to us, we were moved to a lesser sister property, once we got our room it was dirty, hole in the shower wall, used shampoo, smelt like mold, hair dryer didn't work, the list goes on. Very disappointed and the staff wouldn't do anything to resolve it.
Magnificent scenery, Exceptional view. The apartment I had was very good, very spacious, private balcony... all necessary amenities. The receptionist/manager is so sweet and so nice and always tried her best to make me feel comfortable. Breakfast was basic but nice (especially the bread) ... Having traveled the island on scooter and seen many scenery, Eviromigli is certainly the best area in terms of the View. Waking up every morning with this magnificent view is a blessing. Despite the mix up in the room, i certainly intend to rebook it next summer for the View ..
The mix up in the room at my arrival. But this was sorted out the following morning with a free upgrade to the Honey Moon Suite (Thank you, I loved it :-0)
We never actually got to stay at Irinis hotel, even though we booked 3 nights there, 8 months prior. We arrived at 2am and were kept waiting 1.5 hours until we could check in (even though we notified them of our late arrival before hand), and when they finally arrived, no apology. We were then told our room had been double booked and they would have to take us elsewhere for the night, at this point we were tired and didn't care, so went along with them. The next day we were told we were to be moved to yet another hotel where we could stay for one night and then be moved once again the next day, 3 nights, 3 hotels, with 2 hours of limbo between check in and check out times each day. We had a look and this 2nd hotel which had no pool or sea view (Which was what we paid for). When we complained they offered us a refund. This wasn't really a solution seeing we were there in high season with the cheapest hotel being $800/night. They were constantly telling us the wrong thing e.g. Telling us to walk to one hotel, up the steep roads with our bags when they had checked us in at another which was next door. At no point could the manager of irinis be contacted. We contacted Booking.com who were very helpful and sorted the whole thing out. It wasn't the double booking that annoyed us, it was the rudeness, laziness, attitude and lack of any common courtesy shown us by irinis villas. Not one apology throughout he whole time.
Wonderful location with excellent views Very close to Imerovigli busstop Close to Imerovigli restaurants Clean room Beautiful terasse Breakfast brought to the room upon request
Even tought prepaid the room was not available the first night and I was send to the neighbour hotel. Staff told me that there was a problem with the room where in fact the room was occupied by others Only one of two air conditioners worked
Location was OK
The owner of the house was not nice and we had to change the room after one night (stayed there for two nights). The transfer from to the harbour was not included (info at the booking.com) and she want us to pay extra our last day just to take a shower (since we had late flight home)
close to shops, bus stop, walk to Fira
- The view, the view, the view...(We were in room #2) - The excellent service we received from Teuta during our stay ! - The breakfast on the balcony every morning ! - The affordable price - Only 25-30 minutes walking distance from Fira - A few nice restaurants nearby
This hotel needs a refresh
The young managing director was so incredibly helpful... There were some booking problems with this place, but she managed it all and we were more than satisfied in the end. Efcharisto poli, poli!
excellent location stunning view friendly host very good value for money
The views from the balcony were spectacular. The breakfast was plain and simple, but tasty and a good start to the day. Although the furnishing and equipment were very old and outdated, it was very clean. Despite the initial difficulties, the staff were very friendly.
We booked a studio with a kitchenette and paid for it 8 months in advance. When we arrived, we were told that our apartment was not available and we have to spend the first night in a room in another hotel with promises of being moved the next morning. At 13:00 the next day we were still waiting. After inquiring, the lady from Irinis Villas came to see us and tried to persuade us to stay there for the rest of the week as they had put other people in our room. We refused as we wanted a kitchenette and were stuck in a room with not even a kettle. After a lot or arguing, we were asked to stay in the room for another night with the promise that we would definitely be moved the next morning. On day 3 we were moved at noon, so now we have already lost 2 days of our vacation. They upgraded us to a bigger unit which was nice, but please note: there are no washing machine, no tumble dryer, no toaster, no coffee machine (only a kettle) and no microwave. The wi-fi is very bad and we could only access it on the sun terrace. Also, there is no hot tub, only the splash pool that you see on the photos.
Breathtaking views from balcony !! Friendly staff , very helpful & responsive .
T.v needs update .
The room in Irinis Villa (when we eventually stayed in it) was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It provided a private area for sitting outside, within easy reach of shops and restaurants. In Immerovigli, this provides very good value for money.
On arrival, we were "upgraded" to a suite in another hotel because of a problem with our room. Double booking and moving guests appears to be a regular practice in Immerovigli. The upgrade was only for the first 3 nights of our stay. On the day of our booked room being ready, nothing was said to us in the morning, so we went out for the day. On returning in the afternoon, someone else was in the room we had left that morning. Checking with our receptionist, we were advised that all our belongings had been moved to the new room, but it took us some time to find anything. We advised the staff to communicate with their guests if they intend to move their posessions. First room (in Alexander Villas) was "luxury on the cheap". The finishing was poor, and the facilities did not include some we had booked - no kettle, cups, plates or crockery.
When we finally got our room we had a magnificent sea view. The hotel is off the main road but so are all the hotels in the immediate vacinity. The room was a good size and the place was clean
Upon arriving to the hotel we were told the hotel had overbooked and we would have to go elsewhere for 1 night, this later ended up being 2 nights. I would normally look beyond this as a mistake but it happened everyday of our stay as we saw people come and go from reception with anger in their face. There was 1 member of staff who wasn't a manager but was left to handle the whole situation.
Great value for money. Amazing views. Private balcony. Comfy bed.
Smelly bathroom. Leaking. Overbooking of hotel - my sister and her daughter were moved to a different hotel their first night. Our hotel transport to the port did not show up at 9:30pm as arranged - Irinis will not answer their man phone or cell phone. Thankful to be offered a lift by another hotel transport. Breakfast disappointing. Our two sons got moved to another hotel on their last night because of a leak in their room - we meant to had t be back early from our day trip. Then we saw they had moved other people into their room!
Amazing location and views. Quiet and peaceful place. Extremely nice, considerate and helpful hostess (thank you,Thea !) Convenience stores, cafes, restaurants and car park (2 euros/day) a 5 minute walk away.
You need to be quite fit to walk up and down the many stairs.
They have really nice studios and the view is fantastic. Santorini is relatively expensive, so I think the price/quality is good. We payed 80 euros.
In general the studio is really nice, but the furniture is a bit old. It could use some renovation. It doesn't has the luxurious feeling, that it has on the outside, but it is good place for a Romantic feeling.
Did not deliver promises. I had asked for a room with two single beds; repeated my requirement 2 weeks before and even though I received a confirmation they gave me a room with a double bed.
The view was amazing, and the staff was very nice. Our room was cleaned daily.
There is a little bit of a disconnect between the hotel, as I wouldn't call it a resort, and the internet reservations. We scheduled a noon check in, but that is actually check out time. We were able to leave our luggage at the office, but had to wait for a couple of hours for our room.
Heavily used equipment out of the 70th, 25 cm TV with nearly no Picture, Bath very old and dirty, strong toilet stink on the terrace
