Island Blue Hotel  

The whole experience was excellent,would return for another holiday and will recommend to friends. Could not fault the staff/cleanliness and felt the resort owners spent time making it stay as the best hotel in Rhodes. It is a pity other hotels do not take note.

Could not fault anything!

We liked everything about the hotel. There was absolutely nothing to fault. The staff were generous in their helpfulness, the rooms spacious and immaculately clean, superb facilities, excellent breakfast choice and so too the restaurant food. The hotel close to the beach and other tavernas. Within easy walking distance to boat trips. We shall definitely go back to the beautiful island of Rhodes and stay at Island Blue Hotel again.

The staff were very polite and helpful, the room and whole complex was kept clean. We had an air conditioning problem in one room which was dealt with promptly

Travelling with a 16month old daughter i found the room could have been perfect but for a couple of points; if one of the bathrooms had a bath as the shower doesn't really work with babies, friends of ours had the same comment but as their daughter was younger they managed to fit her in the sink. Some of the furniture is not baby friendly with projecting corners from the bed bases and the chairs which were quite sharp on the arms so we felt the need to keep protecting these from a toddler not too steady on her feet.

Lived up to its reputation. Excellent room, great pool and very nice breakfast buffet. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

Couldn't really fault anything. Everything was great.

the hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times. our 3 person apartment was well located and we had floor level so was ideal for my 2 boys to reach the pool when supervised. I traveled with my 2 boys 13 yrs and 11 yrs as my wife could not take time off from work. We are hoping to go back next year as a family.

my 3 person apartment was equipped with a kettle and fridge , but had space for washing up facilities and perhaps a toaster and sandwich maker as the 4 person apartments have. But this is being picky as I would still return to the hotel.

Fantastic family room two bedroom and two bathroom lots of space for all. Ideal on ground floor for Children come and go as they pleased to pool while we could still keep an eye on them.Could not fault staff they couldn't do more for us.

Hotel section just the right size (@40 rooms), quiet, ideally located. Spacious rooms, staff helpful and smiling. No free wi-fi. Internet access cards 10€ for 200 minutes. Nice and clean swimming pools, all supported by a bar. Mainly British clients well behaving ;-) Great stay! Restaurants in Pefkos Main street too touristic... Better to go on the other side of the street where you will find Eleni's resort, a restaurant-pool bar with free wi-fi and great tenants.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff are hardworking, friendly and curteous at all times. The food at the hotel, both at breakfast and in the evening was excellent.

Apartments very spacious clean and comfortable. Great choice for breakfast with attentive service. Near to wide choice of restaurants and well placed for beach. Staff all friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The hotel is fantastic and in good position near restaurants, bars and supermarkets and near the beach (even if the beach is not so beautiful). Tha rooms are new, huge, well furnitured and with terrace on the swimming pool. There are 3 swimming pools with pool bars where you can have snacks and meals very cheap. All the staff of the hotel is very kind and helpful specially at the pool bar.

The hotel is for English people and even if the breackfast was plentiful, cappucino and coffee are extras and we had to pay 6 euro for 1cappuccino and a double espresso even if we paid the b&b. Even for the safety box in the room they charge you 5 euro per day. This is absurd considering that tha price of the room is not so cheap for the greek standard. Tha bathroom is a little bit dark and without bidet.

L'hôtel est situé dans un environnement calme.Nous avons aimé le style sobre et design de l'ensemble. Notre chambre était très spacieuse pour trois personnes (deux adultes et un ado de 12 ans), avec une large terrasse avec table et chaises et un étendoir pour les serviettes, très propre, la literie parfaite. Un fer à repasser ainsi qu'une bouilloire étaient à disposition. Les piscines sont très agréables et vastes. Le personnel est courtois et attentionné. Pour le dîner, les tables sont parfaitement dressées avec nappes blanches, ce n'est pas une formule buffet, on est servi ... ce qui pour un menu à 12 € est vraiment agréable !

Petite déception concernant la station balnéaire de Pefki, c'est un village sans intérêt ni charme, mais qui semble convenir àla clientèle majoritairement britannique ou allemande avec une rue de bars et tavernes et de nombreuses boutiques de souvenirs. La plage : une baie de sable fin et d'eau claire et chaude, idéale en particulier pour les enfants. Les "moins" de l'hôtel : accès wi fi payant (2€ de l'heure), transats payants à la plage de l'hôtel (8€ pour deux transats et un parasol qui sont indispensables, l'étroite bande de sable est presque totalement privatisée et on ne peut se poser ailleurs...)

το δωματιο ηταν εξαιρετικο, η πισινα πολυ ομορφη με jacuzzi, h τοποθεσια του ξενοδοχειου πολυ βολικη-πανω απο την παραλια- και η πισινα μπροστα στο elia restaurant οπου παιρνεισ το πρωινο σου ειναι κατι που οπωσδηποτε το εκτιμασ. το προσωπικο ευχαριστο και εξυπηρετικο.

χρειαζεται καποιοσ παιδοτοποσ-παιδικη χαρα, αλλακτηρια στην πισινα και super market και για το island blue (δηλαδη πιο κοντα στο island blue).

φιλικό προσωπικό πάντα πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει. τόσο οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι οσο και το δωμάτιο ηταν πεντακάθαρα. η παραλία ηταν τέλεια με μοναδικο μειονέκτημα τις ακριβές ξαπλώστρες στην παραλία. ελπιζω να καταφέρουμε να ξαναπαμε.

alles an einem Ort - Pool, Bars, Meer, Supermarkt, Abends, shopping, ruhig.

Das Geräusch vom Einziehen / Ausziehen neuer Gästen manchmal spät in der Nacht. Generell Geräusche von anderen Zimmern fuhr zu Schlafstörungen.

whats not to like?

The room was very spacious, and the staff was very friendly. Nice swimming pools.

- Breakfast: the quality of the food provided was poor. This was even more noticeable on Mondays, after the weekend. Apart from the hot english breakfast, the choice was very limited. - Room cleaning: this was insufficient. Not up to the expected standards of such an hotel. We had to complain and ask to have the room floor and shower cleaned. The toilet products were not replaced, we had to ask for this too.

Facility is brand new so our room is quite comfortable!

Wifi and safety box are not free.

Better than expected, rooms cleaned daily, very friendly staff, excellent selection of hot or cold food at breakfast. Hotel grounds and pool spotless and cleaned daily. Would definitely return to this hotel again.

La settimana di ferragosto abbiamo soggiornato all'Island Blue e ne abbiamo apprezzato diversi aspetti, tra cui il confort degli appartamenti, la buona colazione, la tranquillità del posto, la cortesia del personale e, perchè no, l'educazione degli ospiti. Per noi è stata un'ottima base per visitare l'isola; consigliamo in particolare la spiaggia di Aghati che si trova a pochi chlometri da Pefki, e le terme di Kalithea al nord. Tra le mete note abbiamo trovato poco interessante la valle delle farfalle.

friendly staff. Modern, comfortable 2 bedroom appartment. Our teenagers had their own en suite room within our appartment which I appreciated for safety/security reasons.

Sharing pool facilities with sister hotel guests who had paid less!
