Great location, in between Monastiraki + Centre at daytime and Psiri + Gazi for nightlife. Good breakfast. Staff doesn't seem to care about the guest, no smiles or friendly faces.

Good location. The staff were sometimes rude and surly. The rooms were tired. Breakfast was poor. The free wi-fi was terrible; we had to search around the hotel for a good enough spot to use it. Once another guest unlocked our door and came into our room by accident; very poor security! The room had 2 single beds pushed together pretending to be a double!

The area is not very nice, however as we discovered you are only about a two minute walk from the better area of Psirri and a little bit further to Plaka. Didn't have tea and coffee making facilities in your bedroom.

I needed a room in Athens that was near a pub that was showing the Super Bowl. This hotel was close by. The reception desk staff were pleasant. There was a nice balcony with a view of the Acropolis. The room was ok enough. The area was dead at night. It might be better for a budget traveller that wants to avoid Omonia. I thought the room was a bit overpriced compared to other 3 stars at this time of year. No major complaints.

Excellent location near Plaka, the Acropolis and the Agoras. 2 blocks away from Thissia Metro station. Ample balconies on a relativerly calm street (given the usual noisy traffic conditions in central Athens)T. Good breakfast and helpful staff. All in all, very good value for money. Breakfast served much too early, from 6 - 9.30. Perhaps they could change hours from 6.30 - 10:00, so guests could also enjoy a night out a bit more.

Great location in center of athens and close to metro as well. Close to archealogical sites, hip psirri quarteramd flea market. Also they have a free luggage storage room, which was excellent for us as we checked out and 10 hours later had a night bus The staff was very helpful, but not always accurate as for where to find things open on sunday- asking on the street was better.

I like that it was newly re-carpeted and it looked very clean. I generally choose to stay at Jason Inn every time I visit Athens because it is clean and the breakfast is good. It is good value for money for short business trips and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing that I would suggest is that the bathroom grout around the tiles be cleaned with some kind of whitener or baking soda so that the black dirt that gathers there is removed so that it looks even more clean. Overall though I am always pleased with the cleanliness of this hotel.

We had stayed one night at the Jason Inn, and found the staff so knowledgeable and helpful that we changed our booking to the Jason Inn when we were returning to Athens a week later. It is 2 minutes to the Thession metro station (goes to Piraeus port) and 5 minutes to the Monistraki (airport and other connections). The many restaurants and shops of the Plaka area are very close. The roof garden restaurant does not receive enough mention - a fabulous view of the Acropolis, combined with good food - very nice breakfast buffet. Very nice decor and very clean hotel. Any recommendations provided by the staff about sites and tour options were right on. Free internet access was a plus, travelling without a computer.

A very good location - walking distance to Acropolis and a metro station. Nice view from the terrasse when teh breakfast was served. We booked a tripple room with an extra bed - recommended by booking.com. We had indeed a standard double room with 2 extra beds - no space to move and according to the reception it was one of teh biggest rooms avavilable!!!! Mini bathroom, noisy air-conditioning. Boring breakfast!

The rooftop restaurant was one of the best things about the hotel although there were a lot of very aggressive pigeons up there! (Not their fault). The location was very convenient, even though the area for a few blocks is rather sketchy. This was a basic kind of place. If that's all you need, it's decent.

The location of this hotel in a busy city and the view of Acropolis are the reasons I have stayed at this hotel three times. The staff are very professional and it is a very affordable price. On such a beautiful rooftop terrace looking over to Acropolis eating a healthy and very substantial breakfast I am always disturbed at other patrons who then spoil this by lighting up cigarettes right there at the breakfast tables...I don't want to be breathing in or tasting cigarette smoke especially first thing in the morning and I believe that the terrace is big enough for them to move away from the eating area.

Mainly the location - this hotel is in the best location in Athens...hence the amazing views at breakfast on the terrace...The price is also very good which makes the visit to Athens very affordable. One of the breakfast staff is very rude. People smoke while you are trying to eat your breakfast...very disgusting...there is an area behind the breakfast table where they could go and smoke...smokers just have no idea how awful their habit is to others aswell.

The hotel is in a relatively quiet area (for Athens!) and the rooms were clean and comfortable with a view from some rooms of the Acropolis. The roof terrace is excellent for breakfast and a nightcap. One of the better Greek breakfasts! Not the fault of the hotel but the pigeons can be a nuisance at breakfast time. It would help if tables were cleared immediately as they were most of the time.

Location is very good and very close to sightseeings. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Clean rooms, good breakfast like 4 stars-hotel. 3Rd floor is noisy due to iron chairs on the roof bar which works till 4 am. Better to choose 2dn floor rooms.

The hotel is within 10 minutes of the Plaka area and the pedestrian route to the Acropolis and the new Museum, is at the end of the street. The nearest Metro station is 2 minutes away and the line for the airport 10 minutes. The roof terrace at night and for a good breakfast in the morning gives a 360 degree view of the city. Staff helpful and friendly.

Very close walk to Parthenon and Acropolis and the historic parks around, Neighbourhood felt safe (although a bit worn down). Friendly and very helpful staff. Nice view from resturant on the roof Three star hotel, but in a need of a face lift. Thin walls, you hear your neighbour snore. Food in the roof restaurant was quite plain and over priced.

The front desk staff were very helpfull and informative.Top floor/terrace for breakfast was an ideal location for leasurely start of the morning.Great views of Athens and Acropolis. Excellent location for taking a walk up to the wide sellection of restaurants/coffee shops etc. The Metro station Thisi ,3 mins.walk from the hotel, offers excellent connection to Puireaus(Green Line) and to the Airport(Blue line-change at Monastiraki Station). The bathroom cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The wash basin drain very slow and the waste water emerged at the floor level drain hole which also serves the adjecant shower. As a consequence the feet would get wet as well as the bath mat. The grill on the floor drain was clogged up with filthy deposits of residual water/soap and hair..... The tv set offered only cnn as an English speaking station...SKY Or bbc World were not available. The breakfast tables were cleared at a very slow pace thus causing the guests to either sit in the tables available in the direct sun (which were all set up but empty for that very reason)or sit at the messy table/or wait for the staff to clear up/re set the table. The breakfast food sellection is adequate for one /two mornings....anyone staying longer would have welcomed a bit of a variety and choice of hot/cold fare.
