Jenny's Studios  

On arrival we were greeted by Labros who was very friendly, polite and accomodating throughout our stay. The location is excellent, short walking distance to beach and all shops and busstop for Corfu city. The apt was cleaned all but one day and the standard of cleaning was very high with towel and bed linen changes. All in all a great little spot and would have no problem recommending.

The apt we stayed in had its balcony to the back of the building, off the double bedroom and didn't get any sun. As such we weren't inclined to use the balcony at all eg for breakfast. The apt did not have any separate living area apart from kitchen. We missed that at times with the shorter days in October.

The owner of Jenny's is adorable! He welcomed us with nice smile and passion! The location is absolutely great, within five minutes to the beach, bars, super markets, and every thing you need! With good trust, we had a wonderful stay in Jenny's studio! He is really agood host!

The clock outside the reception was not Greek time...so we misunderstood the Greek time.

No hidden extras for aircon, strong box etc. The roof fan was invaluable. Lambros greeted us on arrival with a cold beer and a chat then on everyday that followed. The rooms were large & spotless. The shower was instant with a never ending reserve of hot water (unusual for Greek island). We flew back on a late flight and kept the room, free of charge, for the whole day. We booked a taxi to & from the airport thru him and he offered us a good rate on car hire. The maid was a joy, happy to wait to clean the room if we were late out. Cleaned five days a week with fresh towels when rquired. Pool going in next year so will cater for all. All in all a great experience. We will definitely go again.

What's not to like - perfect.

We highly recommend jenny's studios labros the owner gives a 100% care and attention to every detail to make you welcome. we have been visiting corfu for 28 years and this is the best place we have stayed , the rooms are excellent and have every facility to enjoy a peaceful holiday, the location is excellent with just a short walk to the bars and restaurants and only 10 mins stroll to the beach.The location is nice and quiet and yet not far from the bars, restaurants on the main road in agios gordis ; we will be back , . Labros and marina the cleaner are good people .Thank you for a nice holiday , finances permitting we will be back next year

The position of the appartements quiet and confortable, close to a beutifull beach, with a great possibility to choose many different good reataurants; the staff is friendly and professional.The infrastrcture are quiet good air condition, fans adkitchen faciities, as well as the wi fi always workingperfectly. The Quality/ Price rate is great too The perfect site to spend your vacation in relax with a reasonable price.

The hotel manager welcomes you with a glass of juice and shows you your room and facilities on arrival. The manager also leaves welcome gifts, such as a can of beer and a bottle of water, in the fridge in your room kitchen before your arrival. The manager is always there during the day to talk to and recommends which places and beaches to visit and what buses to take. Agios Gordios has many mini-supermarkets and restaurants to choose from and all shops and hotels/hostels are within 5 minutes walk to the long stretched beach with beatiful mountain views. The main Green Bus bus stop is within 3 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a Travel Agent to book boat cruises, price includes transport, to nearby towns. The hotel room has all the facilities needed and there is a communal area on the main yard to sit or lie and relax under the shade.

There is a direct Green bus service to Agios Gordios from the Green Bus Station located in Corfu Town but the Green Bus timetable only shows the bus depature times of main cities. As a result, there is no certain time when the bus would come at a bus stop located outside a main town. Some bus stops are not marked outside the main towns so you have to ask the local people, who speak some English, where the bus stop is. The Agios Gordios beach has stones the first 8 meters in the sea water however there are waves which are good for surfing and the beach is a long beach in contrast to other beaches in the west of the Corfu island. As a result, there are isolated public spots along the coastline away from some of the busy beaches for enjoying privacy. The food and products are higher price in restaurants and shops as it is a holiday resort.

Mosquitoes.

I chose Jennys appartments for the good price and location, and was very pleased with both! The room was really clean, bit basic but had aircon and fan. The owner was really friendly and kept leaving drinks in my fridge :) I stayed here on my own, as my parents where in a hotel near by. I felt very safe and would happily stay there again.

Only downside was no pool, and a bit of noise from the neighbours arguging nxt door

Myself and my partner have just spent a wonderful week at Jenny's Studios (so named by the actor Tom Selleck during his stay some years ago) in the beautiful resort of Agios Gordios and would highly recommend both the apartments and location to anyone thinking of visiting Corfu. At the time of booking there were no reviews of Jenny's Studios and with such a low pricetag (just £163 for 7 nights) we thought it might be a bit of a gamble, but as soon as we arrived all of our doubts were allayed by the extremely affable Labros, who was there to greet us with the warmest welcome either of us had ever experienced at any hotel. This greeting even extended to a bottle of water and two beers to put in our fridge - just what you need after a day of travelling! The apartments themselves were refurbished to a high standard in 2011 and although basic, they have all the essentials you need and are fresh, comfortable and immaculately clean. The 2 star rating is because they are self catering apartments so each has a fully equipped kitchenette with everything you need to create meals with several supermarkets just a short walk away to buy supplies. Visiting in high summer we were also delighted to have the choice of both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The apartments are situated just a short distance from the stunning beach and main strip of bars, shops and restaurants, but are tucked away down an alleyway which means that, apart from a very slight bit of noise from one of the nearby bars, it is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed at the back of the building which backs onto olive groves so there was a wonderful sense of privacy too and an abundance of butterflies, dragonflies and even some intriguing squirrel-like creatures that we spotted every night.

My only gripe would be that we had to buy our own washing up liquid and sponge, but other than this everything is provided. If you're after somewhere with breathtaking views over the resort, you won't find them at Jenny's, but it makes up for this in peacefulness and privacy. Also there is no adult pool, just a small kid's pool, but with the beach and pool bars just a stroll away, who cares?!

Very friendly owner and manager, who was always willing to provide information and advice. It was also in a quiet location, off the main roads with cars and loud music. Rooms had air-con, their own clean bathroom and kitchenette with crockery / hob / fridge. Parking is also easy on the street. Basically a very clean and excellent value for money location - highly recommended!

The only downside is that there wasn't a pool, but since I was more interested in staying at the beach anyway, it worked out fine.

Gastvrije ontvangst en nette studio. Schoon. Behulpzame eigenaar die goede tips geeft voor allerlei bestemmingen en evenementen op Corfu. Korte afstand tot het strand en supermarkt.

La struttura si trova in un piccolo centro a circa 15 km dalla capitale e in una posizione ottimale per visitare tutta l'isola. silenzioso e dotato di una piccola cucina perfettamente funzionante, un bagno piccolo ma a cui non manca nulla (in dotazione anche una vaschetta per fare il bucato a mano e corde per stendere nel giardino) e letti nuovi. Cambio biancheria e asciugami quotidiani! Il proprietario Labros è fantastico, gentile e assolutamente disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Se tornassi a Corfù tornerei sicuramente al Jenny's Studios!

Lo staff è ottimo. Il manager, Labros, è una persona ottima e cordialissima, sempre molto disponibile. Le pulizie delle migliori, ogni giorno, al nostro ritorno, trovavamo la nostra camera pulitissima. È situato in una zona perfetta, vicina al mare (con lidi economici e spiaggia libera), mini market, bar, pub, negozi di souvenir, noleggio auto/scooter/quad e il tutto raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi. Lo consiglio fortemente a tutti.

Z Jenny's Studios jest wszędzie blisko. Maksymalnie 5 minut do plaży, może 3 minuty do przystanku autobusowego. W cenie rezerwacji poza samym pokojem, jest wyposażenie za które w większych hotelach się płaci dodatkowo: klimatyzacja, lodówka, sejf(kasetka zamykana na klucz), wifi. Dla tych którzy potrzebują w pokoju tv: jest dekoder z 1500 stacjami :). łazienka nie za duża, ale bez problemu mogą z niej korzystać jednocześnie dwie osoby. Kabina prysznicowa też nie za duża, ale spokojnie osoba o wzroście >=183cm się w niej pomieści I bezproblemowo się w niej porusza. Pani zajmująca się porządkiem robi to bardzo dobrze, więc na czystość nie można narzekać. Jenny's Studios to miejsce idealne również dla osób, które przesadzą ze słońcem. Cały taras/ogród znajduje się w miejscu osłoniętym przed słońcem przez niemal cały dzień. Dopiero około godziny 18:00 słońce "zerka" na ogród. Tym samym jeśli ktoś spędza dzień w hotelu to nie ma konieczności włączania klimatyzacji. W pokojach gorąco robi się dopiero właśnie pod wieczór - ale kilka minut pracy klimatyzacji wystarczy by klimat był przyjazny do przebywania w pokoju. W ogrodzie kilka leżaków, huśtawki wypoczynkowe , mini stół do pingponga ;) I basenik dla dzieci. Właściciel hotelu to bardzo przyjazna osoba I stara się by każdy z wypoczywających w jego hotelu był zadowolony. My byliśmy dlatego w 100% mogę polecić Jenny's Studios wszystkim tym którzy nie potrzebuje pięknego widoku z hotelu. Piękniejsze widoki są na plaży, albo w innych częściach wyspy :) a miejscowość jak I plaża w Agios Gordios jest jedna z najlepszych na wyspie.

Ciao, siamo due coppie di giovani e siamo stati al jenny's studios l'ultima settimana di agosto. Prima di tutto I servizi scritti nel sito sono realmente presenti nel appartamento e le foto sono di recente data. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e disponibilissimo h24. La posizione del appartamento e' ottima :vicina alla spiaggia, supermarket e locali per la sera. Al nostro arrivo all'aeroporto ci ha fatto trovare il taxi come concordato per e-mail. Nell'appartamento,inoltre, ci ha fatto trovare bibite e acqua offerte gentilmente da lui. Su consiglio del proprietario abbiamo visitato diverse spiaggie noleggiando due scooter (dove lui stesso ha contrattato per noi facendoci avere uno sconto!!). Consigliamo vivamente questo appartamento non ne rimarrete delusi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ciaoooooooooooo!

Cordialità, cortesia, disponibilità nell'accoglienza e durante il soggiorno; attenzione e frequenza del servizio di riordino/pulizia alloggio; posizione leggermente defilata da strada principale, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, tranquillità, ventilazione naturale; struttura ben mantenuta, piacevole, accessoriata.

Ho soggiornato presso Jenny's Studios per le mie ferie di agosto... tutto perfetto! Il proprietario, Labros, è gentilissimo e a completa disposizione degli ospiti per qualsiasi esigenza (es. servizio taxi da e per aeroporto, noleggio auto o scooter), le stanze sono semplici ma molto pulite (fornite di wi-fi e aria condizionata), la posizione è eccezionale, a pochi passi dal mare e da tutti i ristoranti e locali di Agios Gordios senza però dover rinunciare alla tranquillità (l'appartamento era molto silenzioso), per chi ha bambini il cortile esterno è attrezzato con diversi giochi e la piscina a loro dedicata. Elevatissimo rapporto qualità - prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente!!

Il bagno può risultare un po' scomodo per la presenza di una "fastidiosa" tenda per la doccia e la regolazione difficoltosa dei rubinetti per il caldo/freddo e il dosaggio dell'acqua.

Ottima posizione, centrale ma tranquilla, pochi metri per la spiaggia. Nelle vicinanze: ristoranti, bar, supermercati, bancomat, Internetpoints, Fermata bus per Korfu città, Rent a car e scooter. L'appartamento dispone di tutto il necessario, pulizia ottima, wi-fi connessione molto buona e gratis, frequente cambio biancheria, pulizia 5 x sett. Lavatrice disponibile. Abbiamo passato una bellissima vacanza (17gg) e ci piaciuto molto la disponibilità e sincera gentilezza del proprietario Labros. Grazie! Infine ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo.
