Kamares Apartments  

Incredible! - the view, the staff, the accommodation, the personal jacuzzi. I loved this resort. The staff was extremely helpful and super nice. It doesn't get any better than Kamares. We WILL be back, and I can't wait.

The most romantic place that we have ever stayed in. Views were outstanding, very private and quiet, great location and easy walking to Fira centre.

I adore this place! Wonderful views, nice location, close to the Fira downtown. We arrived late but the staff waited us n gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast service every morning.

Beautiful location with caldera view from private hotel balcony of our room. The room was pretty. Very close to Fira town. Convenient and relaxing.

They have just repainted the cupboard in our room, so we still smell the paint during our stay.

Very nice location. 3 mins walk from Fira town and Carrefour. Stunning sea view. The rooms are nice decorated as well. The house has over 200 year history and was built in the traditional way. It has been refurnished with a modern taste with the combination of the local style. The hotel owner is really nice and friendly.

The location was amazing. Its in a walking distant from the city of Fira' Not situated right in the middle of the city which let you enjoy the quite and silent side of the city. Amazing breath taking view and very beautiful local style apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kamares apartments. Our room had 100% privacy and unobstractive view to the volcano and the jaccuzzi was literally on the edge of the cliff. Tha staff were just amazing and they treated with had it called Greek hospitallity. Breakfast delicious and served at our room with no extra charge. The room was spacious. Definetely recommended, one of the rooms that someone needs to stay! Thanks a lot Vaia (the receptionist)

Next to an abandoned quarry. Breakfast could have been more "greek", i.e. spanakopita instead of grilled ham and cheese sandwich, or some fresh fruit. Pricey for what you get.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. When I needed to do online checkin, it was no problem for them to do this and printout boarding passes. The breakfast was lovely (eggs, toasted ham&cheese, bbread baguettes with jams and butter, two types of cake slices, orange juice and coffee) and actually too much for two women. The position of the apartments at the end of the main strip, but still only a 5 min walk from the main centre of Fira, means that you can park you're car or bike in their carpark, instead of 500 meters away in the public carpark like our friends had to.

There are only two negatives. The mattress was very hard which you tend to get used to as it's common in many other European hotels, but if you have a bad back it might be a problem. Also, no Wifi in the rooms, it's available just in the courtyard outside reception. However, neither of these would stop me from staying there again.

We loved the location! It sits on the caldera and our room is overlooking the cliff--i think our room was the best though it's several steps down but that gives you privacy... The apartment was also at that side of Fira where it's quiet yet still a short walk away from the center. There's also a Carrefour nearby so you can do some grocery shopping and cook inside your room! They have private parking space and so if you're renting a car (highly recommended!) Kamares is your place.

The breakfast was good but was the same everyday so it would be nice if they gave some variety. We stayed there for 3 nights. Since you're down below, wifi could be a challenge.

The location and view of the caldera from our private terrace was amazing. The hotel is on a quiet street away from the bustling noise of many tourist destinations yet only a five min walk from Fira's main bus station, and only thirty minutes by bus from Oia. The apartment was attractive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfasts were the best that we had in Europe. Our hotel added to a magical Santorini experience.

My mattress was a bit too firm for my taste but the furnishing were more than adequate.

The balcony and view were the best part - breakfast in the morning was great as well.

Wifi for all the rooms would be a good investment.

The onsite management was excellent being helpful, friendly and interested in us as guests. We left our cell phone at the apartment and the manager went to gteat lengths to find us including calling our children in New Zealand and then courier the phone back to us in England.so we could continue our holiday. The location of Kamares Apartments was excellent and very peaceful with unbelievable views. The rooms were beautifully presented.

Le trio féminin de la réception et la femme de chambre,ADMIRABLES :amabilité extraordinaire.Propreté des lieux inégalable.Calme, bien être ,sérénité se dégagent grâce à elles quatre aussi, en plus de l'architecture des lieux et de la vue époustouflante. Penderie sans aucune étagère! Absence total d'éclairage au dessus de l'évier.Coffre fort non scellé,on peut partir avec !! Entrée de la propriété non sécurisée,matérialisée juste par une corde amovible,tout le monde rentre pour faire des photos,de la réception personne ne peux apercevoir ce va et vient.Aucun panneau "Privé",une porte serait la bien venue avec un digicode par exemple.

Estrutura fantástica com uma vista paradisíaca. Os apartamentos são realmente como aparecem nas fotos, com spa nas varandas, todas de frente para a caldeira do vulcão e de frente para o por do sol. Tudo funciona muito bem, cada apartamento tem cozinha completa e a internet é nova e funciona em todo o hotel. Café da manha é uma delicia, servido individualmente em cada varanda, com aquela vista inesquecível. O estacionamento funciona bem e não é cobrado extra e o hotel esta a cerca de 100 metros da parte movimentada do centrinho comercial de Fira. Vale muito a pena; eu voltaria...

Tudo é muito bom, uma pena apenas que os spas das varandas nao sejam aquecidos. A água na Grécia é bem fria (até a dos spas); estivemos lá na primeira quinzena de junho de 2013 e ainda fazia um clima bem friozinho de noite, assim o uso do spa limitava-se ao meio do dia. Também observei que o transfer oferecido era muito caro; fomos do porto novo ao hotel com um transfer pego direto na chegada do navio pela metade do preço (e$ 15,00 o casal).

Красивый остров, интересная архитектура, особенно городок Оя. Стоит того что бы побыть там 1-2 дня, которых вполне хватит что бы объехать на арендованном транспорте весь остров, как мы и поступили. Правда с погодой не очень повезло, было ветрено и прохладно, особенно на склоне скалы, где расположен отель, джакузи, которым мы, к сожалению, не воспользовались. Пляжи острова нас не впечатлили, на Крите, откуда мы прибыли на остров и куда вернулись они намного приятнее.

那个所谓的室外热水浴缸根本没有热水！而且好多虫，根本没有用。当时是冲着这个订的这家酒店，所以大大影响- 了整体印象

Die Bilder des 3 Pers.App. des Kamares haben leider nicht mit dem App. übereingestimmt welches uns zugeteilt wurde. Damit hat dann das Preis/Leist. Verhältnis auch nicht gegeben. Schade !

専用バルコニーからの眺めは最高！フィラの街の端っこなのでとても静かです。ゆったり、のんびり滞在できま- した。スーパー／カルフールが歩いてすぐの所にあり便利でした。スタッフも気さくで感じがいいです。

Хорошее местоположение отеля: в тихой и романтичной части города с видом на вулкан, рядом с центром города и Автобусной станцией. Вежливый персонал. Отличный интерьер номеров и самого отеля.

Hôtel neuf personnel très discret et disponible vue admirable emplacement parfait de l'île au milieu proximité (carrefour market à 50m taxi à 100 m location scooter à 100m etc...)juste un mot magique!!! On est resté 1 semaine donc on a bien profité pensez à réserver plus d'une nuit car vous n'aurez pas envie de partir!!! Jacuzzi pas chauffé (mois d'avril un peu frais le soir) mais du coup cela sert de piscine privé c'est encore mieux!!!
