町の繁華街から近く食事に出る際も便利でした。にもかかわらず立地的には静かな場所で快適に過ごしました。- スタッフの対応が素早く、しかも愛想もよかったです 排水口からたまに小蝿が湧き上がってきたのが少々気になりましたが我慢できる範囲ではあります。 |

Central location avoids the need to use car or public transport to get around the city. This hotel is within easy walking distance of the shops and sights of Heraklion. The hotel is well maintained, comfortable and clean. We were not informed at the time of booking that renovations were being carried out. Parking was very difficult and there is nowhere to stop and unload if you have a lot of luggage (however this is true of most hotels in this city). |

the Kastro was a pleasant surprise. Well located, reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The free in-room internet was a nice bonus. |

I thought that the breakfast was very good for such a small hotel. The hotel was just 8 minutes away from the center. The room smelt a little musty when we first went in but was clean |

Staff very helpful with some exceptional requests. Liked the roof terrace. Breakfast covered all the bases. Room fridge did not work. Location is noisy. |

Helpful, friendly staff, clean, excellent breakfast. Convenient location. We could hear noise from the guests in the next room, however staff were very responsive when I called reception. |

Proximity to Lion Square the web site states Hotel is 500 mts. from the Port which made us decide to walk there from the Ferry and we found it to be much further than this. It may be 500 mts to the sea as the crow flies! Also the room was very small for a double. |

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location in the centre of Heraklion. Room was comfortable though small. The quality of the breakfast, especially the bread was nasty. The rooms were noisy and not as soundproof as I had expected from the hotel description. I prefer nearby Mirabello. |

The hotel has just been renovated, the style is very nice, the rooms are spacious, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is quite good, the location near the port is great, good internet connection. I strongly recommend this hotel. At breakfast I asked for a cappuccino and they charged me 3 eur. The coffee from the machine was very good and the cappuccino really bad, so do not ask for extra wishes and take what is offered from breakfast. Also the juices are terrible, extremely sweet, not healthy. But the rest of the breakfast was quite good, a big assortment. |

The Kastro is situated within walking distance to almost everything Heraklion has to offer. The rooms are spacious. Overall a good stay. |

Clean rooms, helpful staff, easy check-in. Good view to the sea from balcony & roof-terrace. The hotel is close to the city center and to the venetian harbour. The area of the hotel is too noisy due to the airplanes, and since the air-conditioning was a little bit "smelly" we didn't close the balcony's door (which is probably soundproof). |

It was nicely kept and clean. Although it was in the center of the town it was quite and secure. The view from the rooms which are in the back of the hotel are not good expecially the lower floors. |
