Kavousi Resort  

Great location overlooking the entire valley of Falasarna. Located on the mountain-side within 1-2km of the beach. Great views with an awesome balcony and outdoor siting/eating area. Decorations and furniture are typical Cretan styles but when you are in vacation who cares much about the inside of your room! Owner is extremely helpful with directions and information! If you are looking for an extremely comfortable bed and plush indoor living I would look elsewhere. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful. No elevator but ground level rooms if needed.

The host was very friendly, I liked the family atmosphere.

Fallasarna area is streched along the long beach. There is no "center" or small little village. You need to take your car to go to the beach or to go for dinner.

The b&b position is fantastic, on top of the hill overlooking Falasarna, one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. When the beach is hot, the Kavousi Resort is always windy and fresher. Dominika, the owner, has an extreme care for every detail and is extremely hepful. Excellent value for money. Falassarna is a very small village, but Kissamos-Kastelli is at 20 minute drive for a more lively evening.

Just two minor remarks: not enough tv channels (especially English and Italian ones) and, as in many other hotels in Crete (3 out of 5 we tried) there isn't a shower protection, so whenever one uses the shower, the bathroom floor is wet.

The views are amazing from the rooms. It has the best location! The room is large and spacious and all the facilities work. The owner makes an effort to make you comfortable. For a budget resort its very good value and we would definitely return.

Although nothing is wrong with the resort it is very basic. The bathrooms need to be updated but on the plus side everything was maintained to a good working order. As constructive criticism i would recommend a better mattress as this is basic. As tourists we want to sleep well! However, Greece has awful beds in their hotels and its really unprofessional and off putting. It would be a good idea if breakfast was included and they raised the price by an extra €5 a day as this would make a better impression for the hotel.

Wonderful position, very comfortable and beautiful terrace with wonderful panorama

Rooms are perfectly clean, all the rooms have a fantastic view on the see. From here you can easily reach Falasarna beaches and Balos. Staff are always very kind (I have forgotten my id document, and they send me it a week later!).

All is perfect from my point of view!

Sehr süßes Familienhotel mit Super nettem Personal. Man kann morgens von einem Menü für abends wählen. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und empfehlenswert. Das Hotel liegt in den Bergen, deshalb ist ein Auto notwendig, um es zu erreichen. Liebevoll eingerichtet.

Il Kavousi Resort è ben curato e gestito in modo impeccabile da "Domenica" (la versione italiana del nome greco). E' a breve distanza dalla spiaggia di Falasarna e gode di un tramonto straordinario. Le camere sono semplici ma arredate con gusto e pulite. Necessaria l'auto sia per raggiungere la spiaggia che il paese più vicino.
