We liked our room with the view of the sea and we had a relaxing time by the pool which was rather nice -the thermal facilities were disappointing.
Too big a place with too many people, the staff is too busy to really care whether you have a seat or need anything and it's a bit too far out of Kos city and not close enough to a nice beach
Staff were excellent - outstanding customer service
I do really like the quality of the food, but unfortunate just dinners. Breakfast were every day the same. Nice hotel for good price. Very very nice receptionists and welcoming lady at the dinner. Thanks!
Very very expensive drinks. We have paid for 1 mojito 10 euro! JD and coke 8 euro! Recommend walk down to the little shop and get a bottle of JD for 30 euro! Quite far from town. 2euro for bus is not expensive, but walking distance to the bus-stop... Waiters quite rude, never asked polite question. Always starting conversation from: room number please!
Lovely big swimming pools with nice sun loungers. Very big suite, comfy bed and clean room.
Decor of the rooms and hallways was dated. Walk into Kos town took around 40 minutes at a fast pace.
The only nice thing I will remember about hotel is the restaurant called Triton, which is on the hotel premises, but you have to pay to eat there. Food there was superb.
- rude and unpleasant stuff at the reception desk - not working air condition - terrible food at main restaurant - quality and comfort is terrible, everything there is old and/or broken
Stayed in better 3 star hotels. For a room that is meant to cost eur700 a night (according the booking.com website 4 nights €2800 reduced to €680, normal rack rate as posted on door in room is only €170) no ac working (waited 2 days for an engineer to show up) lousy, soggy n undercooked room service food. Premium wifi for eur27 that runs at best 11mbps........ And even gave up for the last two days of my stay - no refunds. Too bad I paid up front forbthe hotel otherwise I would have walk out
The island of Kos is beautifull!
Wrong room, arrogant reception, bad Quality of food, old room. Not a 5 star hotel !!!
not enough sunbeds, very overpriced for drinks , wifi etc . air con very poor
posizione, ambiente, vista, pulizia, cibo
il personale parla poco italiano
The room was nice decorated and big
The price was different from given on your booking form we paid more and same price for double and triple room (157€ each). When asker they said that the price is generated automatic from computer.
Friendly staff, great hotel manager who tried best to help turn our holiday around. Amazing chef - Mariois took care of our special dietary requirements through our stay. Relaxing - evening entertainment. Panorama bar had great views
Air conditioning wasn't working properly. Sauna, jacuzzi and thalassotherapy were out of service during our stay. Hotel was fully booked so they couldn't move us. Not a lot of animation/activity arranged by the hotel during the day. B
The Staff are amazing, always helpful and smiling. They Hotel has a Heart and a Soul I really enjoyed my stay there. I stay in many Hotels because I travel with my work and I think I can say the above with good authority. Things are not perfect but I like that as it is nice to see people make typical human mistakes, it shows they are not Machines. Please don't change. This is the first Hotel where I left a Tip with The Manager to buy his Staff a small drink. We should remember when we travel that we are visiting another culture and Country, when we show them respect we got much more friendly value than we paid for. One word left FANTSTIC
Paying for Internet is a minus point as is paying for use of The Safe in The Room I would suggest from experience that these are basic needs for modern travellers
The pool was nice, if you are lucky to get a seafront room the view is great, and the singer that they had this summer was amazing...
Irresponsible management, after letting them know for few times about the air conditioner in the rooms that wasn't working in the whole building, they still didn't do anything about it during our stay there. There is no air conditioner in this building, they don't have enough equipment to supply the building and the rooms. The drain in the bathroom released a very bad odor and it was the same even though we switched rooms twice. People were keeping their balcony doors and front doors open hoping for some breeze to go through especially during the days with very high temperatures. The beach in front of the hotel was rocky, not sandy so we had to rent a car to go to other beaches. The food had nothing to do with traditional greek food, it was frozen, repetitive, with a very poor menu selection. This hotel is listed as a 5 star hotel and the price may be a little lower, however was nothing more than your usual 3-star hotel with all the issues that usually come with it. The personnel was not respectful toward tourists which is not what we expected from a country whose economy is primarily based on tourism. It seemed like the Greek businesses had enough of tourists and just wanted your money without giving you what you paid for. We are never going back to this hotel and going back to Greece will be questionable. There are definitely other better countries to visit and discover, from all other Mediterranean countries we have been to Greece was by far the most overpriced and rudest country to the tourists. Try Italy, Turkey, Albania, Croatia, Spain to get a real taste of true Mediterranean tradition, hospitality, food and culture.
Old, rundown hotel, 3,5 star
- nice view from the main dinner restaurant at a seaside terrace
- unfriendly staff, especially at the reception desk - furniture of room is more of a 80ties style, heavily used and needs to be replaced - big pool, but very unpleasant atmosphere with cheap loungers >> all in all: a very touristy place, not at all 4 stars worth
Not chilled wine at meal times
The view from the balcony terrace is better than the famous zia view. The room is nice and huge, the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is huge and nice. The food good and the variety is amazing.
We stayed two nights in this hotel on our tour around Kos island. First thing we did not like, that to check in we had to wait one hour, but they gave us an upgraded room, so we were happy. For 5 stars hotel i would expect wifi, safety box and sunbeds by the sea for free, as it is ridiculous after paying a lot to add these extra costs. Also, only one small shampoo/shower gel is not enough (for my long hairs).
The hotel facilities were very good
On arrival I found the gentleman that assisted me at the desk was most unhelpful and rude and thus first impressions were not good. Also some of the waitresses were also very rude and abrupt.
Great staff. Wonderfull view. Very peacefull place, perfect for young families
Hotel is on the mountain. Everyday climing with child on my hands - difficult
Overall, everything was great, especially the offered opportunities. Restaurant food was awesome. Thank you for a fantastic trip!
Staff were very pleasant. The hotel was very clean. Excellent food for breakfast and dinner.
The location, the foyer and the views.
Overall this was not a 5 star standard hotel.
Location is very convenient. Close to Kos town. Staff was vey kind and helpful.
The hotel building was nice, impressive when you first enter, with a welcome drink on arrival, after that things did not appear so bright...
The old man at the pool bar was very rude as was the manager at the resturant, the staff looked petrified as were the guests, I got shouted at becuase I sat on a normal table not a breakfast table. He would also switch the lights off to get rid of guests after breakfast, very rude. The food for half board / all inclusive was very poor the bread was rock hard and muffins could bread your teeth. We had to pay 10 euros to use the safe in our room, 5 euro fee to book a taxi, not very nice at all. The upstairs red loft bar staff decided to have thier own party and deny guests the use of the bar, before the closing time! The only friendly staff were the reception staff.
Staff was nice. The hotel was very clean. Food at the dinner moderate/good. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed in a junior suite and I think the room was just a regular hotel room, but the restaurants, pool area etc. we're really nice. The view to the sea was wonderful. Our three year old son had excellent time in the Playland and in the Aqualand which had an area for smaller children. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families with small children.
Taxis we’re hard to get to the Kos City and back. We waited for taxi over an hour. Fortunately, there goes a bus to the City almost every 15 minutes. (This off course isn't the hotels fault.)
