Knossos Beach Bungalows & Suites    

We've been upgraded to a oceanfront suite with a big balcony: Beautyful room, clean and tidy. Buffet wasn't that big but changed everyday and was delicious. Wonderful Beach-strip for hotel-guests only. we recommend a tental car, if you want to see more from the island.

Excellent and tasteful bungalow hotel in a nice local area of Crete. Close to the main city of Heraklion but still away from the mass charter turism, the hotel is beautyfully located right on the beach, with seaview from most rooms. The choice of food in the buffet restaurant is great and the a la carte restaurant is one of the best in Crete. A great place to stay as a couple or with small kids.

The hotel is located 10 min from the airport, so there are planes coming in every half hour, but not at night and it didn't bother us during the day. It can get difficult to get around with a baby stroller as there are a lot of stairs leading to the rooms.

the staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were extreamly close to the beach .

I would have to say that the beds was a bit small for a couple and not so comfortable.

Right on the beach and 10 min from the airport via car. Had dinner at the Swell Restaurand which was onsite and the dinner was fabulous. We were given a welcome fruit plate and a bottle of wine which was delivered to the room when we were having dinner. It was a nice and unexpected touch as we were only staying 1 night.

Room furniture/fabrics and TV could use some updating in the bungalow that we stayed it (115).

Great venue and good facilities. The sea facing bungalows could be upgraded especially the bathrooms.

The breakfast setup can be improved. Staff very slow in re setting tables and no spoons on tables etc. Little things that can make such a difference. Hotel in Skiathos set the tables with everything you needed, not just a knife, fork and serviette.

For 7 days we eat the same miserable food. I did complain to reception we were told that if we don ' like, we can go to eat at another restaurant for a fee even though I paid a ticket all inclusive. For 7 days were not changed sheets. If you drink coffee you have to pay 3 euros and is miserable. To the hotel's beach have access and other people, not just hotel guests.it must to be always aware of things on the beach If you require a quality drink (cocktail, beer) or water, you will say you have to pay is not all inclusive. The beach is not cleaning.Employees complain to the tourist about working conditions, 50% of whom are immigrants

- The staff of the hotel will do their best to make your staying memorable. We were upgraded to suite from our sea front bungalow. - The rooms are very spacy. All the details are well thought out. The electricity system is cutting edge. Additional shower outside gives you more comfort. The wall transformer gives you the possibility to devide the room into two which is very comfortable if you have a child sleeping. All the electric suplies are at place including music system, which is quite pleasant. The room is tastefully furnished which is a Big exception for Grece. - The beach is gorgeos! Very comfortable for families with small children. Big tents for suites are very useful. - Swell restarant in the hotel is at the top of all the island's restarants (we rent a car and tried almost all the highly rated restarants in the north of Crete). Try the lobster offer at Friday-you will not regret it.

- Quite a dissapointing public areas. When we just arrived at the main hall we were affraid when that we booked a hotel which would not correspond to our requirements. - The main restarant is a Big area for development. Service is not at the necessary level (your durty plates will stay at your table until you leave, if you come early to the breakfast it is difficult to find a table properly served). Food has taste of cantine... - Room service could be better. Sheets changed only once a week. Sand in the bad is quite dissapointing. - Gym is a big disaster. Hardly working, half-broken equipment. No music. Broken air conditioner. Enormous cockroaches running. All these pleasant things for additional charge to your room. - Airplanes are quite frequant-almost every 15 minutes. But this was not disturbing us much as they are still high above the earth. Moreover in your room you won' t hear them much. We spent about 4 weeks in Crete and Paros in 4 different hotels of similar level and it is worth saying that this hotel was the best.

I liked that it was 15 minutes from the port and airport. The room was close to the pool but with 2 older children it was a little tight for comfort.

The all inclusive restaurant food was of very average quality. They really need to research how to service guests and have tables laid properly before people sit down. It was very much a French orientated hotel as their were many French people and the activities staff were French speaking. I personally would not come back to this hotel as most of the staff didn't understand Greek and knew little English. Bottled water needed to be paid for which I thought was strange since selected alcohol drinks and juices and softdrinks, tea and coffee were free

First of all the location and the view. It was fantastic to open your door and be a step from the sea. The view was fantastic.

Although the location of the hotel is fantastic and the staff is very friendly, they need to be more professional.

Wonderful hotel. The landscapes were incredible and the sunsets unforgetable. We had superior suite with sea view - amazing view! Thank you. The hotel restaurant serves best Greek food with a range of tasty and nice wines ;-) Thank you for luxurios comfort , we will definately come back ;-)

The noice of landing and starting airplanes from Heraklion Airport were quite frustrating, however in comparison to all the good things, one can bear it and forget about it.

Zwei Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder. Unvergesslicher Urlaub. Halbpension - Exzellente Küche. Tolle Suiten mit Liegen und Himmelbett am Sandstrand. Klares Wasser. Personal einmalig hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Notre suite était très bien, avec petit balcon avec vue sur la mer

C'est un hôtel réservé uniquement dans le cadre de vacances en club pour personnes agées ! La majorité de l'hôtel était en travaux, du coup les allées étaient gadoulleuses. Ce qui nous a choqué c'est d'être en Crète avec des orangers partout et d'avoir du jus d'orange en machine le matin au petit déjeuner (goût acide et franchement infecte). La salle de restaurant est très bruyante.

Tutto, localita´ tranquilla, atmosfera famigliare con staff molto aperto e simpatico Staff d'animazione da 10+, i miei bimbi non volevano piu´venire via. Cucina curata e ristorante a la carte d'alto livello..... Camera e area intorno alla struttura compresa la spiaggia pulitissime insomma tutto perfetto e da consigliare al 100%

La presenza di bungalow con accesso diretto alla spiaggia privata, la disposizione e la vista che si gode dalla sala colazione-pranzo-cena. Staff gentile e disponibile.

Il rumore degli aerei dovuti alla vicinanza con l'aeroporto di Iraklion.

Прекрасный пляж, удобные бунгало на побережье, тихое местечко!

Завтрак достаточно однообразный, меню не меняется совершенно. Плохо проводится уборка. Стирку могут не забрать, приходилось относить на рецепцию, там и забирать. Бунгало 185 рядом с вечерним баром, очень шумно, хотя она из дорогих! Не берите ее и 186 тоже!!!

Ресторан: хронически грязные тарелки.

tres bon accueil on nous a donné une suite alors que nous avion sreservé une simple chambre et le repas du soir nous a été offert les equipements etaient parfaits et la plage tres agreable

Понравилось удобное расположение отеля по отношению к аэропорту и столице острова. Хорошо оборудован пляж. Прекрасный вид с террас в номерах (особенно номера water front) и в ресторане. Неплохое питание

Изменился контингент отдыхающих в отеле по сравнению с прошлым годом. Стало очень много клиентов из России, которые очень шумно пытаются решать все проблемы, зачастую надуманные. Это несколько изменило атмосферу в отеле не в лучшую сторону.

la posizione. Di sicuro non è un posto per fare un soggiorno mare

La proximité de certains lieux touristiques tels que le site de knossos, le cretaquarium, les villes d'Hersonissos et d'Héraklion est agréable... pour quelques jours. Je pense que pour toute une semaine il y a meilleur emplacement car les environs immédiats de l'hotels ne sont pas terribles.

L’hôtel pourrait être super mais malheureusement c'est loin d’être le cas!!! Il est mal entretenu pour le standing prétendu (joint moisi, coussin troué, lampe rouillée) et la nourriture servie est vraiment bas de gamme. En résumé, nous avons eu l'occasion de séjourner dans d'autres hôtels en crête de standing inférieur et de taille plus humaine qui se sont révélés de bien meilleure qualité en tout point !!!!!!

des vacances extra pour tout, un service charmant, un personnel très accueillant, une chambre superbe (150 bugalow bord de l'eau), une cuisine variée et bonne, un endroit calme sans animation (nous recherchions ceci donc parfait) un séjour inoubliable pour nous avant de nous marier

Nous étions au courant qu'il y avait les avions qui passaient au dessus, cela peut gêner des personnes non habituées Seul point négatif : les 3 bars n'ont pas les mêmes cartes pour les boissons en tout inclus.

Esta muy cerca de la capital Iraclion, pero en una zona completamente deprimida y en ruinas, muy fea, nada que ver con el resto de la isla.

El hotel no es lo que parece en la fotos, algunas habitaciones están reformadas pero otras son viejas, la piscina es pequeña, y la limpieza no es buena. Además la primera noche nuestra habitación no estaba disponible y nos dieron otra más pequeña. El todo incluido desastroso. No recomiendo esta zona ni este hotel a ningún viajero.
