Knossos Beach Bungalows & Suites  

Hotel staff, very well trained to make a very pleasant stay. Very professional, first class. The hotel is well located, the beach is clean and the views are relaxing. Special mention to the animation staff. Free Wifi in the lobby facilitated a lot our children's lives.

Maintenace. it is not very good. The hotel was not able to fix the heating in the room (maybe because of Easter period?)

On the beach. Very nice place with nice staff and facilities.

Confusion in room rates because of children in rooms. Although I booked for 4adults and 3 children in 2 rooms, they only had a reservation for 4 adults in 2 rooms and wanted to charge extra and were adamant because the booking.com language could be interpreted both ways. We argued over who should get their money back from booking.com. We finally settled it with a $25 voucher in their restaurant "Swell" The restaurant is very good, but not inexpensive.

We stayed at the Knossos in the mid of September. If say in one word - excellent. The hotel managers were above praise. It was a small problem after our arrival: the booked room was not completely suitable for us because of its location - the view was superb - on the pool and sea, but it was quite noisy, especially in nights. So, I asked the Georgia ( sorry, if I write her name incorrectly) and Franco, hotel managers, if they have any free different room for us. The problem has been solved within half an hour! No another sounds, but the waves, wind and birds. The design of the room was marvellous, interesting solution of the bath - it was located in the room without doors, but the showers were two - inside and outside. It was amazing! I prefer the outside one - sun, sky and blooming bugenvillia!!! From our terrace we could see the sea and distant island and heard the waves sound. The hotel territory was good organized, if you would like to attend the public place or if you prefer the privacy - both wishes you could realize.

All was good. I have only one small wish - the glass door in the toilet must be longer till the floor. Sometimes it was inconvenient, especially at night.

Very nice sandy beach with calm clear water. Service was prompt and friendly. Hotel restaurant was good. We had a seaside bungalow which had an attractive modern decoration. Aside from the two negatives given below this was a very nice hotel.

When we arrived the fridge area and shower were swarming with ants. When requested the staff came to spray promptly which took care of it for about a day, but it seems that this is a recurring problem, at least in our room. The shower design was very modern but ridiculous in terms of function. The shower floor is set less than 1cm below the main room floor, with no other ledge to prevent water from flowing out of the shower into the room. The drain was slow so that a 10 min shower ended up flooding the whole room.

The hotel was largely full of guests on fully inclusive package, we were half board and we found the dinner buffet very poor. We ended up taking lunch every day and eating dinner outside the hotel

Good location and excellent sea view. Wonderful sea and beach. Very friendly and helpful staff.

La situation de mon bungalow bord de mer, le calme de l'endroit, l'architecture respectueuse de l'environnement

La froideur du personnel même si en surface il y a le sourire commercial, voir même une certaine moquerie de certaines personnes (barman piscine de l’hôtel),par contre femme de chambre très gentille, le prix élevé pour une personne seule, la nourriture un peu toujours la même, pas de vrai beurre pour le petit déjeuner mais de la margarine..., Pas très arrangeant en cas de difficulté car j’étais malade le dernier jour et devait rendre ma chambre à 14h pour ne partir qu'à 19h30 ai j'ai demandé un endroit pour me reposer tranquillement car je ne pouvais même pas aller au soleil sur la plage et ils en avaient rien à faire et m'ont laissé dans le hall d'accueil...,

отличный пляж, чистое море, красивый удобный номер с видом на море, тишина, возможность путешествий на рейсовом автобусе и на арендованном автомобиле, приветливый персонал, который очень старается помочь во всем, весь пляжный инвентарь, катамараны и байдарки бесплатно, ежедневная уборка номеров и пляжного песка, мало народу и никто не мешает, непохо поездили по побережью (от Агиос-Николаос до Ретимнон, есть красивые городки, но лучшего места на море, чем наш отель, не увидели

персонал практически не говорит на русском, но объясняться не очень трудно, далековато от населенных пунктов, где можно вечером просто прогуляться по улицам и магазинам

La vue de notre junior suite et la terrasse privée directement sur la mer étaient magnifiques. La suite très agréable en cette saison du mois de mai ( peu de monde).

La restauration de qualité malheureusement inconstante et en décalage avec le standing de l'hotel.

Une superbe vue sur la mer. Personnels de l'hôtel très sympathique.

Excellent accueil - gentillesse et efficacité du personnel - qualité de la nourriture proposée (sauf qualité du pain tout à fait insuffisante). éQuipements satisfaisants, notamment les installations de plage.

Dommage que l'Hôtel soit situé sur le trajet d'approche des avions allant atterrir à Héraklion. Mais cela n'est quand même pas trop gênant et les chambres sont bien isolées phoniquement.

Bella suite con posizione sul mare. Avevo prenotato una superior e l'albergo, visto che erano libere, mi ha assegnato una suite. Grazie!! Personale molto cordiale. Ottimo ristorante sulla spiaggia con sconto per gli ospiti dell'albergo.

Manutenzione un po' carente: dei segni di ruggine sugli elementi cromati delle abat jour e delle piccole crepe malamente ritoccate nei muri.
