In the historic Knossos, near Hersonissos, lies the Aldemar Knossos Royal Village. Set in grounds overlooking Crete’s north coast, this complex of blue and white bungalows enjoy a private beach. All rooms have furnished balcony or veranda with beautiful views of the sea or the grounds, satellite TV and internet access. The only positive was the Animation team. They did a good job to make it nice the time what we spent there. Seriously nothing... That is not a 5 star hotel for sure. Barely a 4 star.... If you were not an all inclusive guest they asked you to move out from some places - like restaurant down the beach. There was not even one place inside where we could get a normal espresso coffee or a normal lunch. We could not even get a sparkling water during breakfast and the hotel could not offer any tour if you were not Russian. Outside of the hotel there was nothing...just mess around. The closest "city" was at least half an hour by walk or you could take a taxi for 30 euro :-(( The pool had salty water what was a big suprised for us. We have to pay the whole bill a night when we check in. There was only 2 swim pool what everybody could use it and the beach was not sandy just stones and without water socks/shoes you could not even swim :-((

Le principe de chambres en maisons individuelles, et non au sein d'un grand bâtiment. La mer à 50m. Le personnel agréable On sent que le nettoyage est vite fait, car il y a quelques oublis parfois. Le service est lent quand on a une demande particulière.

“The rooms are really good, we booked the superior family room and it was huge with plenty of space for us and our 3 children. The rooms are serviced daily and the meals are good as well. We enjoyed breakfast and most dinners here (buffet style) and it is excellent value at 5 euro for breakfast and 10 euro for dinner (half price for children too!). Would highly recommend a stay at Star beach village, Crete is beautiful and we would love to come back!! There is also an on site spa and beauty rooms which were lovely, definitely worth the splurge!” Belinda, Manadon Plymouth |
