Wicked steep driveway, but what a view!

Incredibles views of the island!! Quiet and cozy. The Villa staff is very friendly.

Not a great location and not many facilities

Fantastic view.

1. The two-bed rooms have a common veranda-not mentioned before booking. 2. The two-bed rooms had a severe problem with mould (windows were fully open when arrived but the smell was distinctive). 3. The room was full of centipedes and slow-worms (not romantic at all!). 4. Poor cleanliness of the room. 5. Not professional and reliable manager: He insisted that was not aware of the insects, although WC windows around the hotel were covered with insect-net, and lied to us in order to catch a more expensive room (No 12) saying that we would probably stay until the evening (by paying our portion) although he knew that he had already booked the room to some Canadian travellers. 6. Very poor breakfast (e.q., you have to ask for water!). 7. Very steep road for the parking. 8. The WC of the advertisement photos do not look like the WC we had!!!

The owner was very helpful, after we arrived he drove us down to our room so that we don't have to carry our baggage down the way (the way down is very steep). He also helped us to rent a car right away and on the last day printed out our check-in confirmation for our flight. The view from the villa is great and you can have your privacy because the area is not packed with tourists unlike Fira or Oia. To get down to Calderra beach you can just walk down. The breakfast was standard but you have enough choices.

The in the bathroom still has some residue but we think that's normal for island water.

The view from the villa was just awesome. Few meters down the lane there was a beach where you can have scooba diving.

Rooms were small. But I was there for only 1 day so that was ok.

Das Hotel liegt wunderbar am Kraterrand mit herrlichem Blick auf die Calera, Fira und die Kreuzfahrtschiffe. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und nicht so trubelig, wie in den Hauptorten - das gefiel und sehr. Allerdings ist ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert - aber nicht notwendig, da die Bushaltestelle dicht ist. Es ist ein sehr freundliches, serviceorientiertes Familienhotel, supersauber und gepflegt. Es gibt keinen Pool - das hat uns aber auch nicht gefehlt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Wirklich der einzige Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre etwas mehr Abwechslung beim Frühstück. Eine Woche immer derselbe Aufschnitt und dieselbe Marmelade macht wieder Freude auf das Frühstück zu Hause. Aber es wird frischer Kuchen gebacken und manchmal gab es auch kleine Bätterteigtaschen.

Hotel très bien situé, au calme, avec une plage peu fréquentée juste en dessous. Club de plongée sur la plage. L'hotel est très propre, les chambres sont très bien agencées et le personnel charmant et très serviable.

Il faudrait envisager d'installer une piscine...

La posizione dell'hotel è splendida! Il proprietario e il suo staff sono gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. La stanza (una superior) era molto spaziosa (due vani) e luminosa con grande spazio esterno. Molto comodo il fatto di avere un frigorifero di media grandezza a disposizione. La colazione è assolutamente sufficiente, con dolci fatti in casa, yogurt, frutta, ma anche cibi salati. L'unica cosa che forse stona nell'insieme e' il bagno non proprio moderno, ma assolutamente vivibile! Per queste ragioni il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo. Consiglio il noleggio di una macchina o quad per maggiore libertà di movimento anche perché Kokkinos è sulla punta estrema dell'isola, dalla parte opposta di Oia.

Famiglia con 2 bambini. Avevamo prenotato un camera quadrupla che al nostro arrivo non era disponibile. Ci hanno proposto una tripla molto grande in cui era possibile aggiungere il quarto letto o, in altenativa, due camere separate (doppia e tripla). Atteggiamento molto corretto e serio. Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte poiché eravamo di passaggio ma abbiamo potuto verificare che l'igiene e la pulizia della biancheria erano decisamente superiori ad altri hotel più costosi e pretenziosi.

La struttura dell'hotel ha qualche anno e ciò si nota particolarmente nei bagni. Nulla da dire sulla pulizia, ma dimensioni dei bagni e struttura generale degli stessi (tenda per la doccia, lavandini anni '70, etc...) indicano che ci sarebbe bisogno di un pochino di ristrutturazione.
