If u really want to lose sight to everybody, this is the right place for u. Very recommended.
There is nothing arround and very very difficult to reach as long nobody will be able to find in only one try. Follow this rule: if u think this is the way, for sure is not and maybe u'´ll find. Really don't understand why the owners didn't put a clear signal !
The girls who run the place were so lovely. Offered us a ride into town etc. The place is gorgeous, if a little out of the way. Beach is nice, not the best (a bit rocky) but warm water and sunny. The room was so nice, big and spacious with a bathroom. Beat room we've stayed in.
Very out of the way. Only way to get into town is taxi or getting a ride when the owners drive in. About €30 for a taxi. Busses only go once every couple of days. Restaurant at bottom of hill is not very nice. Expensive and rude.
Great position with a spectacular view to the sea. It's one of the best places to relax in Naxos. The studio was spacey and really clean. There is also a taverna with local food right on the beach.
There were some ants in the kitchen so we had to be careful and not leave anything there. Note that it's situated far from the town so it's better to have a car to move around. Also the sign of the road is different than the name indicated here and writes "Kritikos Apartments".
Away from the busy crowds and beautifully situated overlooking the little bay the whole family loved the place. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped and looked after by people who clearly care. The sunsets from our terrace -and from all the others - are glorious. The sweet beach is a couple of minutes of walk away on a path that takes you through the vines. Finally, the family is warm, welcoming and very genuine. What a gem!
Nothing! We'd love to go back.
Location is not suitable unless you have a car. Apartments are excellent and represent fabulous value. Family run with vineyards and other produce on site. Right on beach and a great place for those looking for a real getaway with genuine Greek feel to it.
Planning needed for eating. There is a restaurant on the beach with a fair menu. For home cooking you will need to get by with limited utensils- poorly equipped kitchenette but the ambience of this accommodation makes up for shortcomings (after you become accustomed to the positives).
Tranquil location with super beach facility Marvellous sunsets Very helpful and pleasant family of hosts Excellent dessert offered by the mother of the house
All was good, especially for the price asked
Lovely sunset. Three days without stress and without any connection to the world outside. The host family did their best to guarantee our enjoyment.
There is no supermarket, but you can buy water and refreshment from the taverna.
These charmingly decorated and comfortable self-catering suites about a half hour from the ferry port are an incredible value. You are perched atop a beautiful small bay with great sunsets just 100 meters from a pebble beach. Perfect if you are looking for an isolated and very private stay (only 6 units, never more than a handful of people on the beach, just a single taberna in the village) but therefore best visited with your own transportation so you can get to other villages and beaches on the island and do any shopping. The Kritikos family's hospitality is incredible: anything we mentioned that we would like (vegetables from their garden, olive oil, fish caught by Eliabeth's husband and a bbq to grill it on) was instantly provided—and much more was brought to us as a spontaneous gift (the family's wine and tsipoura, Mrs. Kritikos' loukoumades, melons). They would accept no payment for anything so we were happy to be able to leave a hefty tip when we paid. You really are in your own home. We spent a wonderful week here, and give it our highest recommendation.
The structure is new and nice. The rooms are large and well furnished. The position is wonderful, with the view on the sea and marvelous sunsets. The owners are very gentle. Mornings and evenings can give moments of ....peace, I can say. One need a car or other vehicle to reach the place and move around. It is 20km far from the crowded Hora.If you want "night life" it is not the place. If you want to have dinner on the terrace and enjoy the sunset, it is one of the best ones.
It is not easy to find the place the first time you arrive. The drive way from the main road to the location is a little bit too "off road". We didn't find super/mini markets in the neighborhood. We managed the situation since we moved around a lot. Be prepared to make "stocks" when you go to Hora or to another bigger "town" on the island. Nearby, there is only one place to eat, on the small beach of Abrami Bay and it is not enough if you stay more days.
This place is a gem. It has a stunning views , lovely rooms and friendly service.
Nothing. Except that the taxis don't know the place and dropped us of in the wrong place. Guest should be aware that it is 30 minutes from the main city so anyone staying long is advised to have transport arranged
We had a terrific time at Abrami Traditional Villas. Our room was immaculate, the area is quiet, the bay is partially protected from the north winds, and the beach is a 5 min walk from your room. The owners welcome you like family. We really enjoyed swimming around the corner to the southwest - there are nifty rock towers to explore. The entire establishment is enchanting.
This is not so much a criticism as a note for potential visitors: there is no market in Abrami. The closest market, which is located in Apollonas 13 km away on a curvy road, is tiny and expensive. Stock up on food before you head to Abrami. We feel that Abrami's isolation makes it an ideal spot to spend a week swimming and lounging. On the other hand, the remote location makes it difficult to make day trips to the rest of the island.
The owner family is very kind. Moreover the studios offer an amazing view on the sea. It is the perfect place to relax.
Absolutely fantastic place! The view from the balcony was amazing and the beach is only 100 meters away. You need to rent a car to get there, but it's really worth it. I would go back anytime!
Wonderful place ... and lovely family ...!
location is perfect for relaxing, room was spacious and clean, staff was kind and helpful (we even had a unexpected "room service" with freshly fried homemade muffins and their own homemade raki)
We were greeted at the door by staff, peaceful location, really friendly staff, clean room, great food, right by the beach
WiFi wasn't the best
This place is a gem! Perched on a slope overlooking a delightful looking bay, safe for swimming. The hosts are your quintessential, multi-generational Greek family. John Kritikos has lovingly built this beautiful place, with exceptional attention to detail and aesthetics. The room we had was clean as a whistle, and so pretty with lace and starched white sheets. Very friendly welcome and attentive, yet subtle, hospitality.
