Kronos Hotel  

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the center of the town, the staff is very friendly and helpful and our room was every day very clean.

The toilet was just opposite the bed, its door was transparent and above all there was a gap at the top and at the bottom of the door so that eveyone could hear and smell...νο Soundproofing at all!!!

Spacious and comfortable room; excellent shower and bathroom; helpful staff with good English.

Did not like the plastic/rubber mattress covers on beds and the breakfast was poor and not good value.

I found the hotel to be very professional, much like you would find in the UK. The staff were all very helpful, the building was in a good condition and the rooms were kept clean. We arrived at the hotel in the morning having got the ferry to the island. The manager was very accommodating, letting us store our luggage in a room before checking-in later in the day. This freed up our day and we were able to go to Knossos and the Heraklion Archaelogical Museum on the same day.

Wonderful reasonably priced hotel at a central location. Friendly staff, fast internet and very comfy rooms - all in all, everything one needs for short break lodgings.

Fully renovated, excellent location, excellent value for money

Location, very close to the centre of Heraklion... Helpful staff and just 48 Euros for a triple room...

Located conveniently close to the center and to the port. Facilities were excellent for this class of hotel (we paid 45 Euro for a double room) and it looked to be recently renovated.

The night staff at the reception did not speak Greek well (he kept on speaking in second person singular even our party included elderly - it is considered to be rude).

Doors to toilet/shower made out of glass give a limited privacy aspecially in such small rooms

Room was clean & had a nice sea view. Good location - just a few minutes from the bus station and main square.

The beds were so uncomfortable. They have some sort of cushion covering the mattress so it's just way too soft & 'spongey' and you wake up aching all over. And because of this strange cushion, the fitted sheet is too short to be tucked in so we often woke up to find that the sheet had shifted during the night and we were sleeping on the cushion/mattress itself (which isn't the cleanest). We also had one of the glass shelves in the bathroom suddenly crash to the floor during the night & when we went downstairs to inform reception, she just handed us a broom. All in all, the hotel was ok but not very comfortable or memorable. We wouldn't stay again.

Very beautiful hotel: large rooms, well furnished. It is very close to the Venetian Port and is ideal for whom arrives Crete by ferry. Some minutes walking, you can reach the city town. You can arrive the airport in 15 minutes by car.

It is difficult to park the car near the hotel. It seems that the hotel, now, has a private parking area, but I´m not sure.

Great location. From the airport 10 minutes by bus + 5 minutes walking. From central bus station - 5 minutes walking. Just near the sea and many restaurants spend there one night with 2 friends. has wifi and free internet connection

The staff were so helpful, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable and had a large balconey, also value for maoney breakfast. We stayed one night and booked a second for the last night of our holiday. I would recomend this hotel to anyone.
