Mazaraki Guesthouse

The rooms were lovely with thoughtful additions such as candles, extra pillows, local food tastes etc. the staff were so helpful and the breakfasts yummy.

A beautiful place to stay. The location is perfect with views to the Byzantine city of Mystras and across the plain to Sparti and the mountains beyond. The staff were helpful and very welcoming and the room was very comfortable.

Everything! I live and work in London and it has been a long time since I have felt that relaxed and tranquil.it was beautiful.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Great location. Warm feel. Very homely. Mariella was great with sharing knowledge of the Southern Peloponnese Area.

A little too expensive. They have a monopoly on hotels in Mystra Area in the Winter (as a lot are closed at this time).

Attention to detail, very friendly without being intrusive, feeling of luxury. Excellent breakfast.

Totally lovely, charming, well-furnished, great views, comfortable and everything you'd want in a hotel. They even had local fresh,dried tea for infusing. The breakfast is large and delicious and served in your room. Every room/suite has its own patio or balcony overlooking the mountains and Sparti. A wonderful place to stay for exploring the central Peleponnese. And a delicious restaurant is only an energetic uphill walk away!

Beautiful guesthouse in a stunning location. Staff is excellent and very friendly. The location in relation to Mystras is fantastic and there is plenty to do/see in close proximity. This was my second time staying at Mazaraki and somewhere I am sure I will return to again and again.

Excellent room with a special interior design, plus nice views.

Staff was not well trained or not interested in their work: 1. Wi-Fi never worked in our room. On arrival we have been the only guests so they pretended that the problem does not exist. The dance with Wi-Fi continued on the next day as well and it became detectable near the office but not "everywhere in the hotel". 2. We have been offered an extensive menu for a breakfast included in our reservations. Our choice was a fruit platter and nothing else. They have served the platter but it's quality was simply shameful considering that it was Greece, end of summer and at any fruit stand along road one can get wide variety of excellent fruit. 3. We have stayed in 6 places during this trip in Peloponnese. This place was the most expensive and the least pleasant. The difference was made by the staff that simply wanted to minimize their effort. It was so different from other places that one could suspect that we drove away from Greece to some other country, somewhere up-north, without sun, sea, fruit and unemployment.

Stunning location, brilliant design and attention to detail in room (so many thoughtful touches) - but clean, unfussy and uncluttered. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and quite the best we,ve ever met in a hotel or guest house. Being able tomake real coffee was a treat - as was genuinely freshly-squeezedorange juice. So sad we were only staying one night!

Wonderful location, charming interior decoration of rooms and reception. The guesthouse is run by very nice ladies. A lovely place to come back and suggest to other people in the area!

This is a fantastic hotel- location on the hillside in sight of Mistras and overlooking the Spartan plain is spectacular. The rooms are beautifully designed, simple but very stylish . Staff all extermely firendly- beautiful garden to relax in too. Lovely breakfast- best orange juice and yoghurt in Greece !

This hotel is the best hotel that we had stayed in Greece. Beautiful decoration - very delicate taste in the interior. Wonderful breakfeast which is brought to the room. Very romantic place. Vey friendly people. Confortable bed. Nice garden.

Poor Internet connection in the room.

The location and accommodation at Mazaraki were wonderful, our room and balcony very modern and attractive with an amazing view over ancient Sparta and the modern City, to the side we could just see the city of Mystras on the hill The adjoining restaurant up the hill was superb, incredible views, lovely waiters and huge portions of delicious Greek Food. Our Breakfast, served to the room in baskets was wonderful, I was surprised that Greek Coffee was an extra cost and that the meat and cheese platter was so tiny but it was all very tasty.

Unfortunately the fridge in our room was next to the bed and very noisy. In the morning I was disturbed by the client in the room below, making business calls on his balcony - not the hotels fault at all but we were reminded of the proximity of other guests and didn't get the peace and calm that the location should have rewarded us with If not for these small details, and the power cut in the morning meaning no electricity at all this would have been a perfect Guesthouse

Excellent location, extremely friendly professional staff and superb accommodation. We travelled with 2 young children and stayed in the apartment. The accommodation catered very comfortably for the whole family with plenty of space and excellent amenities. Breakfast with home made goodies and traditional treats just added to the enjoyment of our stay. Location and views are unrivalled, Close to Mystras village Mazaraki is located up in the mountain above the village close to the Byzantine castle and other historical sites. Ask for directions to Hromata restaurant. Well worth it.

Secluded location. Designer chalet type rooms/suites. with all necessary facilities.Excellent decor.Breakfast served in rooms a nice idea.A very fine traditional restaurant nearby.

La Mazaraki Guesthouse di Mistrà è formata da un gruppo di bellissime costruzioni di pietra in stile rustico locale che si affaccia sulla pianura dell’Eurota davanti a Sparta. Le camere sono arredate con gusto squisito e sono dotate di tutto il necessario e anche di più. L’accoglienza delle due gentilissime proprietarie è impeccabile, così come la colazione alla greca, cioè con ogni ben di dio in ampie quantità. Da consigliare ad occhi chiusi. Mi è molto dispiaciuto non poter restare più a lungo.

La chambre magnifique,très propre avec terrasse.Très bien situé près du site de Mystra dans un beau cadre montagneux.

L'accueil à l'arrivée plutôt absent et pressé.La réception très souvent fermé. Petit problème avec le petit déjeuner que nous avons râtés le premier jour.C'est un système de panier qu'on nous apporte dans la chambre et qu'on doit réserver la veille en notant sur une fiche.le soucis c'est qu'il faut rapporter ce coupon à la réception qui est souvent fermée.On avait glissé le papier contre la poignée de l'entrée.Personne ne l'avait ramassé le lendemain matin.Ils devraient juste mettre une boîte aux lettres pour les petits déjeuners.Il n'y aurait plus de soucis.Cependant le personnel c'est rattrapé et nous a laissé des fruits et quelques douceurs sur la table au retour de notre balade.Délicate attention.

Tutto prfetto,hotel curato nei minimi dettagli,impossibile trovare un difetto,arredato con estremo gusto.Da provare.

ממליץ על המלון בחום. ברמת צימר מעולה בגליל בארץ ובחצי מחיר. מלון מקסים עם אוירה רומנטית, חדר מאוד יפה. צוות שירותי וידידותי. ארוחת בוקר מעולה ומפנקת, ממלאים מראש מה שרוצים וניתן לקבל הארוחה בסלסלה גם לחדר. מיטה מעולה. נוף מדהים מהמרפסת. בניני אבן יפים ונוף טבע פסטורלי . גישה מעולה למיסטראס. מסעדה באזור מומלצת היא מרמרה (ולא קסניה).

גישה לחדר עם המזוודות מעט קשה. WIFI בחדר לא עבד והיה צריך לרדת ללובי של הקבלה. הנסיעה בלילה למקום היא קשה עקב סיבובים ותלילות בכביש צר למדי. הקואורדינטות של המלון לא מדויקות (עדיף לנווט למבצר ולהמשיך אחריו).

Hébergement de qualité dominant les ruines de Mystra. Chambre claire, spacieuse, décorée avec goût et dotée d'un balcon s'ouvrant sur la vallée de Sparte. Bon petit déjeuner commandé le soir ( choix varié sucré-salé) et apporté le matin dans un panier: une formule que nous avons appréciée. A noter un excellent jus d'orange de fruits frais. Le restaurant conseillé (fermé lundi& mardi) situé à quelques minutes à pied, juste au-dessus propose des mets excellents (recherche d'originalité dans l'élaboration des plats)

Seul bémol: prix trop élevé en comparaison des hébergements de standing équivalent que l'on trouve en Grèce
