nice location - next to the sea, we could hear the waves from the room

The hotel was great, the staff was very nice to us. We stayed in the Family room. The room was nice, clean and with a great view towards the castle, mountain and beach. I am already thinking about our next visit. Highly recommended.

Lack of appropriate services, as described in the reservation (no hammam, no cromotherapy, old bath tube). Poor personnel services, worst breakfast ever.

The entire stay was excellent! The staff was extremely accommodating, the food was superb, breakfast was delicious and included, the room was amazing and right over the water, the small town of Platamonas was nearby and fun, the hotel is a little bit country but not too far removed from conveniences, there's a castle up the hill that was nice to hike, Mount Olympus is an easy drive, WiFi was plenty fast and reliable, the bathroom had a great jacuzzi shower, parking was abundant and free; the staff made everything simple and relaxing. No hidden fees or surprises. The staff was superior in all ways and really ensured a very relaxing, enjoyable weekend in this gorgeous hotel and area of Greece. You can't beat the value either.

The hotel is located on a beautiful private beach, which we used for short relaxation sessions with the kids. Less than 5 minutes drive from the hotel is the Platamon castle, which is one of the attractions in the area. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the hotel the night before and the night after we climbed on the Olympus Mt., and the staff let us keep our luggage in the hotel on the night that we stayed on the mountain. Some of the rooms have excellent sea view from their balconies. Breakfast was very rich and tasty, both for the old and young generations.

The hotel private beach is rocky, unlike some of the beaches of the Platamonas town. The hotel is about 1 km from the town center, and the road leading to the center is narrow and dark at night. We had to move around with our car.

Calm, very clean, well organized. Nice rooms with good quality furniture. Staff friendly and efficient. Good restaurant, tastefully food, affordable prices (not higher than in other restaurants and taverns located in the area). The location near Mt Olympus and other touristic ojectives offer a lot of opportunities. Beach with rounded stones.

Don't go without a car, you will need it to reach shops, other restaurants and objectives.

A conditioner in one of the two rooms didn't work, the other was above the bed, I prefer having it aside. To narrow beach.

friendly staff - upgraded room with lots of space and a glorious sea view

Cannot fault this hotel if you need quiet, rest or short trips around in the area, the staff went out of their way to accomodate, the food and service was excellent. The owners made us feel this was our home during our stay which was not long enough. We are looking for coming back again!

Excellent staff and hotel

The location was wonderful, the best hotel in the area. Family run hotel who were extremely kind, helpful and could not do enough for you. Would definitely recommend this hotel

They totally ignored our early submitted (via booking.com) request for a twin bed instead of two beds and for a room with sea view. It seems that they didn't even read the request. When we mentioned it, they claimed that others had made early bookings. It would be totally ok if they just said that we considered your request but we could not fulfill it. NOT all rooms have sea view. They recently invested in Jacuzzi tubs, but in order to even have them cleaned, we were supposed to pay extra 25 euros.

The rooms were really nice and well decorated. Balcony half overlooking the sea.

1- The location is overrated. The hotel is situated far from the town ( ca.4 Km) which means you always have to drive, take the car, find a parking lot, stress about everything etc...and above all, the hotel is very far from a normal beach. The "beach" of the hotel ( the famous one with free sunbeds and umbrellas) is not a real beach. Huge stones and almost 20 cm seashore and awful discharges of the taverna situated close to the hotel. Real good beaches are to be found 5-6 km from the hotel. 2- The castle which was the attraction related to the hotel can be visited during lunch time, closing at 15.00...so challenging the heat must be a thought before undertaking this action. 3- The staff - Very bad presented on the first day with a nice lie, the desk lady claimed that the previous client staying in our room has destroyed the remote control of the Air Conditioning and therefore the ac did not work in the peak of 38-40 C... 4- The breakfast was very poor, the same every day and no cheese at all in a country where the cheese is the national product.

The owners made us feel this was our home during our stay which was not long enough. We had a suite which was spacious well equipped comfortable and elegant. With views over the sea and beach. The whole hotel was a joy to stay in with friendly professional owners and staff who could not do enough for you. If you wish to experience Greece as it should be where comfort hospitality and a welcome stay is important - close to large seaside villages with shops restaurants and bars plus the very good hotel restaurant when you want to stay close to the home I have no hesitation in recommending the Kymata and we will certainly return.

the jacuzzi did not work

We like the location. The hotel is right on the beach (however the beach is with stones - a beach with sand is at 4 km in Nei Pori ) and our little daughter felt wonderfull . The hotel stuff was very helpful and the owner was very nice. They really know how to make you feel good.

We have nothing to complain about. Everything was great.

Location is wonderful, splended view. It is separated from the traffic, quiet. Helpful, cooperative staff.

We enjoyed our stay in Kymata Hotel! We spent 2 days there before climbing to Olympus. Extremely friendly and hospitality hostess. Very cleannes, good breakfasts, perfect view of the sea from the window. You could hear murmur of the waves at night. Very romantic place! The food at the restaurant was very delicious and not expencive. Also we can use their small boat (canoe) to reach other beaches and simply boat on the sea. Kimata is really the best hotel we have stayed in during our jorney to Greece. Highly recommended!

The staff was amazingly friendly and generous. The location of this hotel is the best in Platamonas. Right on the beach with a castle in the background. What more could you ask for.

The Bed was uncomfortable

The best was the room balcony which was just hanging over the see. The furniture is luxury and obviously expensive. The staff was very friendly and polite. Parking is also very good. Al together very well.

The location was really good for us as we were really on the beach and our room faced the sea so really relaxing looking and hearing the waves. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was good.

A very good place. Very good location. The staff is very polite and careful. The Rooms are spacious and well furnished. The view is incredible. The food in the restaurant is very good. I would gladly come back here again.
