As I was in Lato on two separate occasion in June, the two can be compared. The second alone was quite up to Luxury standards. The first, with my sun and fiancee, and in a room for three, was disappointing. While the room may be adaquate for 2 adults and 1 child, the room is two small for 3 adults. Likewise the balcony was less than adaquate for 3 adults. Barely, 2 could sit on the balcony at one time. |

Comfort, peace, quiet in the most convenient and interesting section of Heraklion. Join the local community in an evening stroll along the Venetian breakwater just across the street from the hotel. Free computer and Internet access and excellent breakfast. |

Lato is absolutely an excellent hotel. It is very clean and well furnished. Location is very good--not far from downtown, and very close to the bus station and port. Breakfast is also wonderful! |

Hotel was extremely well located and the staff was very helpful. We had an exceptional view from our sea view rooms, and the breakfast was top notch. We were able to walk to great shopping and restaurants, as well as to the fort and sea wall. We were also within walking distance of the ferry port. We had two rooms, and one was a bit small. |

This was an excellent hotel, in good location for the harbour and the town centre. The room was fabulous at the top of the hotel overlooking the harbour. There is also a good open air restaurant at the top of the hotel. It was very diffiult to find due to major roadworks in the town. |

I liked the gorgeous view of the Iraklion harbor and the fact that the room had a little terrace; the fact that it is very quiet; and the quality of the sheets and other amenities. I also like the price! Service and staff atttention were also excellent. The room was a bit small. |

It is well placed for exploring the town, has easy access to the main motor way and well positioned to visit Konosos. Lack of parking though this is always a problem with centrally placed hotels. |

The Lato Boutique Hotel was very nice. We found it to be very close to the town center and a great base station to exploring the east side of Crete. |

Location was good but on a strange angle to the road. Clean. Breakfast complete. The smoke! We had a non-smoking room but that didn't matter because there was smoke everywhere else! My kids complained they had headaches, as did I. The public areas should be non smoking! Why should we healthy, non-smokers have to breath it? |

cosy space, great staff, beautiful design, fantastic room, good location, planning of the space, great value for money, great parking guy it should be a dvd player, the roof space on level 4th should be opened all year, bath is too small, missing real sauna in spa center |

Location, friendly service, neat. included free parking. Our room had a great view from the terrace and it was clean, but it was small, especially the bathroom.,The bed was pushed against the wall which allowed access to it from only one side. This was a nuisance but for four nights you can live with it. |
