The staff were outstanding, we even went back at the end of our stay we loved it so much, all rooms are huge, beautiful location, this is a new hotel and will only improve with time, the staff are a family run operation and all guests are treated as though they are family, we were even invited to the end of season party, with Maria's home made Kefalonia Pie and Rabbit stew.....amazing. Thank you so much for such a warm and comfortable time, we will return i am sure.

Everything was wonderful! The staff were so helpful (they helped my now fiance with his proposal to me with breakfast and champagne and fresh squeezed orange juice for mimosas early in the morning so we could watch the sunrise at the beach!) The breakfast options were incredible- my favorite in all of Europe. There was a kitchen in the room and a huge bathroom.This hotel is about a 10 or 15 min (15 euro) taxi ride from the Argostoli bus station. The beach is about a 3 or 5 minute walk downhill from the hotel and the beach is gorgeous!! We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return one day!

It is impossible to regulate the temperature of the air conditioning in the room, and the temperature inside in the night was too hot

The way we were received was very good. The breakfast was excelent.

The access road to the hotel should be repaired.

Very nice place to stay in Kefalonia. The best location for travellers to see the island + beautiful beach 100m far from the hotel. Biiiig rooms with kitchen, breakfast next to the pool, parking. The only minus is no WiFi in the room...

I just loved the quirkiness of the place. It's certainly not everybody's cup of tea as I heard from some of the comments made by other guests but I loved it. The staff couldn't do enough and the owner, Maria, is superb. Breakfast is lovely and plentiful. The setting is wonderful, having close access to a beautiful beach and a couple of great tavernas. All in all highly recommended.

Access road requires some maintainence.

Great place to spend holidays. The Family is managing the Hotel with great care and friendliness: Dafne, Giorgio, Antonio e Maria are really nice people and always ready to give you attention and help. The structure is newly built to the highest standards, with a wonderful, modern yet confortable design. The view is fantastic as well as the sense of peace and relax all around. I give it a full 10!

Modern, brand new and spacious rooms, excellent services and very friendly staff. At last a place where the term "family run bussiness" means profesional services in a warm and kind enviroment!

The hotel was fantastic. The location, the architecture, the staff, the rooms, everything was perfect. The family running the hotel are so nice people always smiling, they do everything to keep you happy . the rooms are huge and very modern.shower is great too. Location is nice, 3 minutes from the beach which has 2 taverns. Distance of hotel from Argostoli centre is 15 minutes with taxi which is not too far. I strongly recommend this hotel, it was the best I ever visited.

A wonderful designed Hotel very modern not luxury just simple and natural . All the staff are friendly nothing is to much trouble.We stayed in one of the two junior suites with a good view of the sea and the mountains, the beach is only five minutes walk down a steep road, It's not a busy area very quiet.

The first two weeks of August is the main Greek and Italian holiday time . But do not let this put you off just go with the flow..................

The staff are truly fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for them. The architecture of the hotel is great and everything has been very well thought out. The location is beautiful, very quiet and an excellent place to relax. Ideally though you need a car, but a stay without one is also ok as taxis are easily bookable through the hotel and a leisurely walk to the nearest mini-market is around 15mins.

It would be good to mention on the website how far the local facilities are.

We liked our stay in the Leivatho Hotel very very much! We enjoyed the warm and charming atmosphere in the family-run hotel. The architecture of the hotel is unique and perfectly integrated in the landscape - enabling great views of the coast. The rooms are spacious, luxourious and comfortable. The beautiful Avithos Beach is only a 5 minutes walk down the hill. We can also highly recommend the nice taverne directly on the beach.

Absolutely faultless. The family who run the hotel were exceptional in every sense. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, such a cool, modern, funky design. The rooms are amazing, very unique design, incredibly comfortable beds, great facilities. The location was absolutely ideal. 7 minute drive from the airport (no noise can be heard whatsoever), 3 minute walk from a beautiful and uncrowded beach. The pool was stunning with equally amazing views. With out a doubt, the best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in

Their selection of English tv channels was very disappointing.

The hotel is amazing with his modern and fresh style. The colourful design and the facilities well meet the natural location without appear inappropriate. It's a wonderful place if you like design and architecture, or if you fancy something unusual. The all place it's a perfect example of how you can build something really cool even using simple and raw materials. The staff is young and super friendly. There is free wi-fi in the main local and in the pool. A nice beach and two good restaurants are minutes walks from it. Highly recommended

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the feather pillows much appreciated.

The staff treated us like family, very warm and friendly. Our room was huge (3 people suite) and very modern. The breakfasts are to "die for", very good selection and fresh orange juice squeezed to order! The pool is beyond belief. We plan to return and stay at Leivatho Hotel again sometime, perfect location by the beach and two tavernas.

The only thing we did not like, was having to leave!

The location was simply a peace of heaven, quite and out of busy Agristolli and only a 10 minute taxi drive from the airport which suited us as we had an early morning flight to Athens, which incidentally a taxi was organised by the hotel and arrived spot on at 545 A.m when we left! This brand new impressive hotel was such a good find that we were so pleased over and over that we had chosen to stay at Leivatho Hotel. The Architect of this establishment went minimilist from the entrance, layout of rooms, decor, gardens and pool area. It was voted the Best Built Work of the Years 2009-2011. Our mouths hung open as we pulled up the hill to this beautiful hotel, perched on a hill with a short walk to the most divine beaches with three excellent tavernas to choose from. Our suite was spotlessly clean, with crisp white linen and large gorgeous white fluffly towels, with complimentary fresh, lemoney Korres herbal products. Tastefully decorated room with cool greys and whites, that one could admire over and over again, a view from our balcony to set your heart at peace! The main reception and restaurant area a masterpiece of fine detail and colours with a blue infinity pool. One just wanted to stay on forever!!!! Maria the owner was beautiful, warm and friendly and together with her small staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and unforgetable. Our breakfast was taken on the patio surrounding the pool where we enjoyed a continental buffet with all the greek delicacies offered on beautiful Kefalonia. We were so spoilt and comfortable at the hotel that we had no need to leave, only to spend time on the white beaches and enjoy the hospitality of the Tavernas taking wonderful walks through the villages while church bells rang out on Sunday. A hotel not be missed, must to be seen to appreciate such beauty. We will deffinately go back to Leivatho and it cannot come sooner.

My partner and I fell in love with the Hotel upon arrival and the experience only got better by the day. The facilities are fantastic and staff are brilliant and yes, we would and have recommended the hotel to others!!! Thank you for an amazing few days! Nick & Tania
