Leo Hotel  

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Leo sehr genossen. Entgegen anderer Stimmen haben wir das Hotel (selbstverständlich mit guter Vorbereitung) sehr schnell finden können. Kostenfreie Parkplätze stehen in der Nähe an der Fortezza zur Verfügung. Die Fotos entsprechen dem tatsächlichen Standard relativ genau und die Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich und bemüht. Wir empfanden unser Zimmer (obwohl es nach vorne zur Straße gelegen war) als relativ ruhig. Auch das frisch zubereitete Frühstück in der kleinen Gasse vor dem Hotel hat uns sehr gefallen und war für griechische Verhältnisse hervorragend. Zusammenfassend ist das Hotel Leo aus unserer Sicht ein kleines aber feines Hotel mit romantischem Flair. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Service, service, service by friendly staff. Prime location in old town. Can get to everything. Lots of day trips within walking distance or by buses.

Parking can be difficult if you do not know the area, although there is parking relatively close, once you find your bearing.

This is a fabulous little hotel, set in a perfect, pedestrianised location in the centre of the old part of town, surrounded by restaurants and bars. The staff were great, and the breakfast is more than just the usual continental, which was a nice surprise. The hot water tap was not working when we got there, but this was fixed immediately after I reported it. The rooms are lovely, with very high ceilings. The only downside was that we had to climb two rather steep flights of stairs to get to our rooms, so it's probably not suitable for people who have issues with stairs. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendliness of staff

My stay at the hotel leo was a wonderful surprise gift! Such quality, aesthetics, comfort, cleanliness, care staff, great breakfast , quiet (although is located in the center of old town), is certainly more than a 3 star hotel! It is value for money… I suggest hotel leo with all my heart!

The age of the building and the nice decorations. location.

You provide a jug and cups for tea and coffee in the room. This is the only hotel I've ever stayed in that expects the traveller to provide the tea and coffee and this is not realistic to purchase coffee, sugar and milk enough for 2 nights. Usually you get a couple of sachets just so you may relax when exhausted. 2 and 3 star hotels provide this. No one to help you with your bags to the room. Older travellers would have difficulities.

amazingly friendly and helpful staff, great location in the old town and not too far away from the town beach, very authentically decorated rooms all in all it made our stay in Rethymno a real pleasure

if you plan on going to the town beach, the loooong strip of sandy beach is just 10 mins away from the hotel. the problem with that part of the beach closer to the old town is that it gets a bit crowded and that it is not as clean as the one at the end of the main street.the good thing though is that this part of the beach is just a 5 min cab ride away (the cab drivers all have a fixed €5 rate)

Hôtel de charme avec accueil chaleureux. Agréable petit-déjeuner dans la ruelle. Très bien situé dans la vieille ville.

We were so delighted with our room, breakfast and convenience of the location. But we will never forget the wonderful front of house staff who were able to assist us in a very friendly, caring way.

The hotel is very well situated in the center of Old town close to shops & restaurants. It is small and very well renovated and the staff very helpful. We have stayed there twice and will stay in the future.

the hotel has historic charm yet the rooms are modern and well designed.

Το ξενοδοχειο ειναι σε εξαιρετικη τοποθεσια : κοντα σε ολα. Το πρωινο επισης ηταν καλο. και το κτιριο ειναι πολυ ομορφο.

Το δωματιο ηταν κρυο και επρεπε να αφησουμε το κλιματιστικο να δουλεψει ολη μερα για να ζεσταθουμε. Επισης στο τσεκ αουτ μας ρωτησαν αν θελουμε αποδειξη η οχι. Δεν ξερω αν ειναι η πολιτικη του να ρωταει για μην δινει αποδειξεις αν δεν ζητηθουν η αν ετυχε μονο σε εμας και οσο να ναι μου κακοφανηκε.
