Great service, very friendly lady host. Perfect location. Great room. Romantic breakfast. I can go on like this for hours...

I was warned that there are only stairs, no elevator. That is true but only a problem if 'normal stairs' are too much for you.

The hotel surprised us possitively.The rooms very comfortable .The people both in the hotel and Crete extremelly nice and helpful.

Over the weekend the streets noisy due to night life.

Leo Hotel was an excellent choice. It is in a great location in the older part of the city. The staff could not do be more helpful and each room was unique in style and wonderful. the hotel had an ambience that will be hard to match and the hotel thought of all the little extras that you are looking for when travelling. The breakfast in the outside laneway was delightful.

Beautiful bedrooms, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location (in the Old Town right next to the Venetian harbour, 10 mn-walk from the beach). The breakfast is simple but good (fresh orange juice and a choice of a local or a continental additional dish) and right in the street, a nice feel too. We were traveling with a baby and they arranged a cosy couffin en the bedroom. Overall we were delighted with our stay at Leo Hotel. The prize we payed through booking.com was a good deal.

The renovation of the bathroom slightly cheap, but that's a common feature in Greece. A little noise from the street at night.

Excellent location in pedestrianised area of old city - near lots of restaurants, shops, the harbour and Venetian fortress. Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast outside. Hotel is in an old building but beautifully refurbished with spacious rooms and all mod cons.

All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and gave good advice about eating out, best beaches and countryside. The hotel itself had real character and was ideally located in the heart of the old town.

The closeness to local shops, nightlife and attractions. It was only a short walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The local restaurants and cafes are fantastic.

Great combination of charm, price, and location.

We liked the hotel because it quietly, clean and cozy. Our windows looked out into the alley and so could not hear the noise from the arcade. Walking distance to monuments. Rethymno aside different impression. The city was very dirty. Many old houses.

The receptionist was incredibly helpful. The location and the architectural design of the hotel was most memorable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return to this hotel. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the quietness of this location even though it was very centrally located in the town.

The girls of the staff are very kind, friendly and polite. The position is amazing, simply in the center of the old town of beautiful Rethymno. Breakfast was good and in that special street. Perfect place to enjoy Greece.

I like everything and my parents do as well. I'd like just to give a pair of suggestion. In the third room probably a Bed would be more comfortable than the armchair (it's a little bit hard). About breakfast I would suggest just a wider choise of jams (not just peach :-)

The location was fantastic, the hotel was beautiful, great breakfast and the staff were absolutely wonderful - nothing was too much trouble for them.

No parking near the hotel

This place is just adorable. It is a restored venetian palazzo and the decor is gorgeous, very tasteful. We had the choice of two rooms, and chose the room overlooking the street so we could watch the locals go about their business. we thought it might be noisy but it wasn't, most of the time it is walking only except for morning deliveries. We also had shutters that could have blocked the noise but did not need them. Entrance to hotel and breakfast is in a side alley that is covered by bourganvilia, was a real treat to have breakfast there, other tourists walking by stopped to take photos of us. Breakfast had a menu with 9 choices, some traditional Cretan dishes and english style, so something for everyone, all very nice. The hotel staff are very helpful and spoke good english. So sad we did not stay longer. Location was excellent, only a block from the harbour front.

There was nothing we didn't like about Leo Hotel except leaving. You need to be aware when to stay in the old town that it is necessary to park outside the old town and walk in. This is not a complaint but something to be aware of for those who are not so mobile. We needed to use the GPS in walk mode to find the hotel first time because our map did not have the smaller streets marked. But the locals are so friendly when they see two confused tourists with a map and suitcases they offered to help. Its all part of the experience of staying in the old town.

This is an exceptional hotel, family-owned, superb location.

Εξαιρετικό!!! Πάρα πολύ καθαρό! Προσεγμένο, πολύ καλό ορθοπεδικό στρώμα, σε κεντρικό σημείο στην παλιά πόλη. Πολύ καλή σχέση ποιότητας - τιμής. Ιδανικό απο κάθε άποψη!!!
