I travelled with my 90 year old (agile) mother. We had first floor rooms. The rooms were spacious, airy, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was superb (hot food available but we mainstreamed on delicious honey and bread). The staff were terrific - very welcoming and chatty. I actually had my wallet stolen in Thessaloniki (look out on the buses - it was very skillfully done) and the hotel took it personally, helped us to go to the police and rearranged our travel plans (as we could not now hire a car). I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend it. (So would my mother!) The hotel is in the city centre and you definitely hear traffic noise. I am sure the same would be true elsewhere. In May I was able to sleep with the (double glazed) window closed which cut out most of the noise. That would not be possible in July or August because of the heat.

Just the location, the rest was very poor. The initial room given was very small and smelly. The next room given was big but very cold and signs of mould, the shower did not work. The last room offered during my 4 day staying was dirty and the bed was very unconfortable. The tv was old and not recieved all channels. In general the hotel did not meet my expectations and I was glad that my trip ended. I will not choose the same hotel again as I felt I was trapped by the photos provided in the system and the reality faced!!!!!

The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was fantastic and very close to all the main points of interest for us in the city. There is no hotel parking if you are driving. However, the hotel has an economical arrangement at a parking station a couple of blocks away which worked out quite well for us without breaking the bank.

Room, bathroom and breakfast very good. The position in the city (really 3 minutes from Aristotele Square) is ideal except for the traffic noise. The bus stop from the airport is in the street of the hotel (bus number 78). Unlucky the traffic noise is disturbing, but if you want to stay right in the hearth of the city maybe you could accept to use earplugs.

Great location in the very center of the city, surrounded by lots of boutiques, close to the seaside. Lots of nice places to eat and relax in the vicinity. Great breakfast buffet. The room was not cleaned during our stay.

Location was good, very central, close to the bus stop from the airport. Staff very friendly. Breakfast had a good selection. Nice view of one of the more attractive buildings in the city. The beds were very comfortable. The shower caused us a lot of amusement - one day perfect, another hot to cold and slow to fast in a matter of seconds - never really worked it out. There was not really a lounge area with tea and coffee - although this was available as room service.

The staff were great - friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of advice about the city. Also when we were having a complete nightmare with a local car hire company they were really helpful and spent a lot of time and effort helping sort things out.
