Located right on the sandy beach of Mylopotas in Ios Island, Gorgona is housed in a Cycladic-style building with stone-paved terraces and white-washed walls.

The staff/owners extremely helpful & friendly.
The walk back up the hill from the beach.
Wonderful in every way! We were also upgraded to a suite and it was beautiful. We were so happy with our choice of hotel!
The steps to/from the beach. Ouch!
We had initially been given a junior suite but the entrance felt like a dungeon underground and the room , being long felt dark and deck had no privacy. We moved to a stand alone room with terrace and private entrance which was perfect.
The walk up and down the hill to the beach
Very friendly staff (family business), great pool, fantastic breakfast, nice balcony on our room
Worked fine by reception and pool area
In the suite it didn't work except for in the garden area
pillows were way too hard too many bugs at breakfast
Location, small family run Hotel, excellent staff, rooms spotless, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
There was no restaurant.
Everything! Staff lead by Irene and Speros were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms are delightful and all have a wonderful beach view. You don't need to be in Hora in fact we enjoyed being away and either walking or taking the bus in when we fancied. The breakfast is the best we have had throughout our travels in Greece. I was surprised that there were plenty of restaurants in the area. You will not be disappointed. I'd say don't look any further if you want a little out of town and the beach, pool, great food and service this is it. Speros, you are the best.
We enjoyed everything. I have not said that before in any review.
It was a really peaceful place to stay the view of the beach is fantastic. The staff were great! Lovely breakfast. We had a junior suite which was so gorgeous and the bed was really comfortable. We will be going back next time we visit Ios.
If you struggle getting up and down steep hills and steps it's quite a walk down to the beach. It will keep you fit. You Can get a quad bike for 20euros a day which can get you around locally.
Everything the view the staff the rooms the pool etc etc. Everything was excellent and the breakfast was amazing. Loved every minute.
Wifi wasn't very good in fact I don't think we actually got on to wifi in our room.
Beautiful view of Mylopotas beach.Pool bar staff very helpful and friendly.Nice large rooms with unique style. We enjoyed the quiet of the hotel.
The access to the beach is a bit difficult going down.It requires a bus coming back, although you get used to it.
We stayed there for 5 nights (24th-29th July) and we don't have a single bad comment for our stay. The staff was fantastic, helpful and kind. We had an excellently decorated room and we enjoyed one of the most amazing breakfast buffets we ever had. We sure hope to see you again in the future.
The beach views from the balconies and pool are great, but the exteriors is the only good thing about this hotel.
Paid for a superior room but got a sub-standard one. The bathroom smelled upon entering, one of the two shower doors was missing, and there was an old used bar of soap left in the shower, which had mold and mildew all around. One of the bedside lamps is only there for decorative purposes, since there is no outlet nearby for it to be plugged in. The décor of the "superior" room was ordinary at best. Either I didn't get the "superior" room I paid for (the receptionist said it was in fact the superior room), or this is far from a "luxury boutique hotel" that it claims to be. The wifi internet didn't work 98% of the time, but receptionist claims that is not a hotel problem, it's an island problem. When told about the missing shower door, she said she'd send someone to take a look, but of course no one ever showed up, and when it was mentioned again at check-out she said they'd ordered a new door. The free transfer back to the port is only available if other guests haven't already requested it before you, in which case you're told you need to take a taxi. The breakfast staff always looked moody and like guests were invading their space. This hotel offers very little value for money, relies too much on its views and forgets about everything else. I'll be returning to Ios, but will definitely stay somewhere else and would not recommend this hotel.
This was the only hotel that we had that gave us free transfers and even emailed us the night before arriving asking for our arrival times. The room was basic and what we had paid for so we were very happy with that. Bed was comfy...and T.V worked. The location of the hotel was down a mammoth hill that was killer to get back up but took 2 mins down to the beach and it was only a 10 min walk into the town which was perfect. The staff were all friendly and helpful in any way possible.
The walk back up the hill...thats it!
mr markos was very nice, picking us up from the ferry terminal and dropping us back at the end. breakfast was decent, hot and cold options and sweet treats. pool was in a good location on the hillside overlooking the beach. rooms were basic but comfortable. 5 mins walk down the hill to the centre of mylopotas beach, but about 20 minutes to the village.
wifi internet was very poor during the whole stay - tried in the room, pool area, balcony, breakfast area throughout the stay.
Great pool and bar. Great breakfast buffet.
Killer stairs down to beach
The modern rooms are great. They are tastefully done with much style. Very cool! The bar serves great drinks and the breakfast is awesome. They have a great pool facility. The staff is accommodating.
This is not a party hotel if that's what you're looking for. Our first room was not the expectation shown on the web, after a quick complaint we received what we paid for. The room did not look very clean and there was pee in the toilet. The next day it was cleaned properly. The walk to the beach is confusing and difficult.
Absolutely a beautiful hotel, great location for beach and town of ios...friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Price of beverages in bar are a bit expensive! Nothing else!!!
Location is nice
Wifi is very weak Room description said "spa bath" and it was only a shower - definitely misleading. Same pour he view - the see view room does not really have sea view (unless you re at the end of the terrace)
Hotel is simply amazing.. The staff were brilliant, very helpful! I would go back again and again to this hotel! Can't thank them enough for our stay!!
excellent hotel, great design and super service from very friendly staff. breakfast above expectations for hotel in Cyclades. Amazing wiew and location (but make sure to take rent a car later, as climbing up to hotel from Mylopotas beach might not be amusing every time)
poor wifi in rooms
BEAUTIFULLLLLL ... worth the money
Levantes Ios Hotel is fantastic. Very helpful staff, family driven with a very nice atmosphere. The view from the room was beyond dreams.Breakfast was superb. The pool and the outside area is also fantastic.Enjoy!
You need to like walking the stairs from the beach. Was good exercise for us, but not for people with a walking disability.
Very stylish, peaceful hotel in a beautiful location on a lovely island.
Too much focus on being 'cool' at the expense of basics (eg: credit card facilities unavailable - payment by cash only ..no receipt given, only 3 coat hangers in a double room)
The location, nice staff and good swimming pool
The shower wasn't hot enough, the breakfast was too "continental" et not enough Greek.
