The room is confortable and near the facilities needed, like, supermarket, car rental, etc. The hotel also provide tours at the same price of tourist agencies. They did not provide the transfer, even though previously arranged. We received the transfer confirmation via e-mail 1 day before arrival. When getting to the port (2 women at 00:30 AM), there was no one there to pick us up. The tourist information bureau called the hotel, and they said they would nor provide the transfer, there was no reservation and they were not expecting us. Fortunatelly there was a room available. However, the taxi costed us another 15 Euro. For that price, you can get a better hotel. |

The room is better than expected, with comfortable beds and adequate amenities One of the service staff for the transportation between the hotel and port is rude. However the other staffs are friendly. |

Don´t expect charming atmosphere and surroundings. In fact, don´t expect Thira to be charming: too many tourists walking to and fro, tacky souvenir shops...breakfast is continental, as promised. |

Did not actually stay at Lignos but was told to go to Blue Sky Villa. Location was convenient, close to bus station, city centre and restaurants. Decent sized room with a small balcony and attached bathroom, clean, good value for money. Breakfast was basic, just bread with butter/jam, juice and coffee/tea. Reception was often empty, I had to wait more than half an hour just to check out on the day I left, but the lady offered to drive me to the port later that afternoon, so that was nice. |

I did not stay at Lignos. When I arrived they told me Lignos it was full but they will provide accomodation in another Hotel from the same owner. The Hotel was call the Blue Suites or something like that and it was very nice. They said it was 4 stars, but to me was more like a short 3 stars. They charge me extra money for for paying with credit card. The reception is always empty and during the evening is close. Also the pick up service is not very good organised. They do not tell you where to wait and the bus does not say the name of the hotel. |

the price and the location are very good. the road was broken,and I couldn't get the hotel at the first night.I tried to call them,but there was nobody.There was no bus,no taxi.So I had to live another hotel.When I arrived the Lignos,they told mi that I must pay two night.But when I ask for my room,they said that the rooms were occupied,and I had to wait for the cleaning.So they took double money of the same room from the different guest |

The location and the price I did not get airport transfer as advertised. Had to take taxi. Breakfast is not good: did not get any bread; only coffee & corn flakes. Was told that no more bread was available |

The location of the hotel was great (in the heart of Fira). Being no staff there to meet you and reception being unattended 95% of the time made getting information quite challenging. The pool being down the road at Hotel Blue Sky was slightly inconvienent. |

The Lignos is a very modern & contemporary hotel and I was very impressed with the standard of hotel and the price. It is 5 mins walk to the ferry port and you can catch a bus across from the port which takes you to the marina which is nice for a wander, something to eat and a drink. |

Very close to centre of Fira and main bus stop. We also got one of the double rooms at the front of the hotel which was bigger than the one we had previously stayed in, which was great. hotel also has a transfer to the port. |
