Lion Hotel Apartments  

Excellent location, quiet and safe area close to the city center and metro (one metro stop to Syntagma Square). Friendly staff, clean. There is a mini market close to the hotel. We are really happy with our choice of hotel.

The staff at this hotel were excellent, very helpful with information as we needed it. The rooms were spacious and the cleaning was to a high standard. It is true that the decor is outdated, but it is still usable and there was everything we needed. It is very central and close to the metro. We highly recommend these apartments to others.

Very quiet street and building, (across from church), great view from upper floors, large terace, very near subway stop, two stops from Acropolis. Pleasnt neighborhood, afew streets from funicular to Lycabete mountain and the shops and restaurants on the street to the funicular.

The staff were excellent: very personable, helpful and fluent in English. The place is very spacious, with an extremely large balcony and great view.The bathroom was good; the wifi was strong; and the beds were confortable. The location was also very close to the metro; however, we walked everywhere as it's only about 20 minutes from the Acropolis or the Central Market.

The place is very dated and there were things like the curtains being 30 cm too long for the windows; the sofabed only having single-sized sheets; the smoky smell; and the worn kitchen that were disadvantages.

Apartments are huge, fully equipped kitchen. Safest area in Athens close to the shopping area, cafes and restaurants are near by. Staff is very friendly.

Reception: very polite and kind personnel. Hotel and ammenities: good position near the metro station ( about 10 minutes’ walk) and within a walking distance (about 20 minutes) to Syntagma square. Rooms and apartments: spacious, clean.

The personnel systematically stopped the centralized air conditioning and consequently in the rooms it is cold, the water is not sufficiently warm, the coffee, tea, shampoo, soap –are provided only if you ask for them.

The staff and location. Theadora at the front desk was so helpful. A big thank you again. With different demonstrations around and public transit being affected, just help with phone calls and organizing where to go. The best receptionist in Greece and we went to the airport from the hotel after a month in Greece. With so many embassies within a couple of blocks, never worried about security. We had room 60 with a large balcony and it was great. After reading someone else comments, we asked for a high room and with a view. It was worth the request. We had our breakfast on the balcony and could see the Acropolis as well as the little church at the top of the hill that overlooks the whole city.

It was a very comfortable and clean hotel and the staff was excellent. It is near to the metro station. It is ideal for a family. We had a very nice weekend!!!

A really big apartment located in a quiet part of the city centre but very close to the conference hall (Megaron). Chamber cleaning every day and kind employees that were always willing to help me providing me maps of the city, timetables of the metro and most of all good advises for where to go whenever I was in need of something. They are present 24 hours a day and 7 days in the week. Wifi network available in the complete apartment as well as airco. I had a great time.

The location, wonderful street. Spacious rooms. Beautiful terrasse.

No sponge or dishwashing soap. If you stay only one night it might be a problem.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing information, kitchen equipment and even Imodium with a smile and within five minutes. The room was quiet, clean, and had efficient aircon. It was lovely to have unlimited broadband. The supermarket is a minute away, and the metro five. Perfect!

The kitchen was not well equipped, but anything we asked for was provided.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments had everything you could wish for and they were cleaned to a high standard every day.

The hotel room is very very large. There is separate kitchen area, living area and bedroom. There is even a huge balcony with good view (Acopolis & Lykavittos). It is very comfortable to stay in the room. The hotel staff is also quite nice. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the nearby metro station. There is a very good mini-market beside the hotel. The area is very quite and comfortable.

The hotel is relatively old with a very old lift. We stayed at the top floor (7th), and the lift only reach 6th floor. The internet wireless signal is not good since the nearest antenna is at 6th floor. There is no dish wash sponge and liquid provided.

Excellent service in a good location. Nice terrace view on top floor.

No breakfast option. You must provide everything for the kitchen yourself - food, dish soap. No food/drink vending in hotel. (But convenience store is nearby.)

Good location in the heart of athens in reasonable prices. Staff is kind and helpfull

The hotel is old and abandoned. Furniture, carpets, curtains, tv, cllima, must be 20 or 30 years old.

Отличное месторасположение (близко к метро, район Колонаки - один из лучших в Афинах), огромные номера, персонал - выше всяких похвал!

El apartamento muy bueno, la gente muy amable y atenta, un pequeño Market abajo con todo lo necesario, pronto a un metro donde te puedes mover a todos los sitios que desees... Muy bueno...
