quiet location, friendly staff, big room
first thing we saw in the kitchen was a big bug in the kitchen cabinet.
Excellent location in the city centre, very clean, good WiFi connection and friendly staff, apartment is big and quiet.
Appartement is a bit old looking
We settled on this inconvenient location since we were leaving early for the airport. Pull out beds were paper thin with springs poking through. Kitchen was so old and unappealing that we went straight out to find a place to eat. We would grab something at the airport for breakfast too to avoid the kitchen as well. The person who got the best bed started showing signs of itchy bumps 24 hours after our departure. 48 hours later, she was covered with bites all over the shoulders and arms. Doctor confirmed bed bugs. Front desk was moderately helpful with taxi and restaurant recommendations. Would definitely not recommend. Not a pleasant experience.
Really helpful polite staff, super accommodating. View from balcony/veranda. Cleanliness
Could do with a updating but this was not a problem.
Comfortable apartment, big bathroom big rooms good location big verantas. Excellent wifi. Good staff.
The airconditions temperature was too low and we couldnt change it.
Quiet place, close to the subway / buses and city center. Very kind personnel. We really appreciated that rooms were cleaned every day. Large balcony, with nice views.
Noisy air conditioned - maybe it worth changing / cleaning the filters because you can hear it especially during the nights. Also, the furniture can be a little bit improved.
Hotel is located in Kolonaki area which is upscale neighborhood in Athens. Close to metro station and many great restaurants. Rooms are clean and bright with great balcony.
Finding parking is challenging but ask the receptionist and he/she will advise where to find the spot to park your car.
Everything -- friendly staff, proximity to metro and bus station, clean facilities, very large and spacious bathroom, good wifi, spacious bedroom, easy access to all the touristic attractions.
Very clean, very good wi-fi (which is not common in Greece), very nice and safe area.
There are 2 receptionnists. Giorigios, who is great. But there is an other one at night who is really awful (no smile, very aggressive). This is the only bad point but it's really unpleasant to reach a place and being welcome by such a person !
A lot of stuff were missed for a four stars.
mirise na memlu
the best staff ever, the most hospitality people i've ever seen, big rooms quiet area you have supermarkets all around you with different prices and it cost nothing to take a taxi from the hotel to the center like 3 eur if is not less. best vacation i ever had i definitely will come back to same apartment nothing better for me :)
Dirty Kitchen No WIFI Mosquitoes Dirty Linen No Soap in Bathroom
The location of hotel is perfect. The lady at the recetion is very nice.
Just some very minor things, like small lift and wifi signal.
Friendly staff, the apartment was quite well-equipped (enough dishes, a toaster , a kettle etc.) A coffee machine was provided the first day, but the next day it disappeared, which surprised us. The cot and sheets for the baby upon request. We liked the chambermaid Maria who did her job properly and hard-working.
Despite the apartment is located in Kolonaki, there are no any supermarkets ( just an expensive mini market), tavernas etc.
very big comfortable rooms with nice view at a perfect quiet location
the furniture and the aesthetic very poor and in general requires renovation
The reception staff is amazing. Both the gentleman at night a and the the lady in the morning were very kind, professional and helpful with a perfect english. Is very rewarding after a 6 hour ferry trip to arrive at this comfortable retro hotel, freezed in the 70's.The apartment is a bit worn-out but is beautiful, stylish and impeccably clean. The balcony was huge with a view to the monastery just in front. The neighborhood is nice and peaceful with some small restaurants at walking distance. What a great retro atmosphere!! Metro station and the airport bus are not far either. It will be for sure our choice in our next visit to Athens!! Thanks again to the staff! I highly recommend this hotel.
Not to be able to spend more than one night.
Extremely welcoming staff, giving good advice and always smiling and trying to please. Spaciousness of apartment 70 (bigger on 7th floor than others), about 64m2/700sqf, with big terrace boasting view on the Acropolis and Mt Lycabettus. Lots of closets. Perfect for family of 4. Not far from metro Evangelismos, 1 station from Syntagma. There is a small grocery store 2 mn away and a good family restaurant (To Omorfo, 6-8 mn walk away).
Bells ringing a 7am ... Bathroom is a bit small with low ceiling.
Excellent service, they even offered me a late check out (the room wasn't booked after me, so they could arrange the cleaning been delayed). With travelling overnight and across the timezones, I enjoyed that very much. The hotel is really clean, and they took much effort to keep everything in order, which is not easy in a hotel constructed 30 years back. And there are other small things, which will delight you, coffee in the room, a bottle of water in the fridge, etc.
If you are looking for modern furniture and latest design, - and paying for that, better go somewhere else.
friendly and good service
Location; spacious apartment; good balcony; quiet leafy street; friendly helpful staff; good WiFi; spacious rooms; bath as well as shower; quiet at night; proper double mattress. We would love to stay again.
The lighting. This was no worse than most hotels but with my not very good sight the lack of a bright overhead light in rooms makes some things difficult.
Staff were superb and the apartment was kept spotlessly clean. They even cleaned up the dishes and could not do enough for you.
at times there was a creosote smell when you opened a window in the bathroom. A microwave would have been a welcome addition.
Location and service
front desk couldn't have been more helpful when we arrived after being robbed on the Athens metro all the staff there are so friendly
a microwave would be the icing on the cake
