Lucy Hotel  

I was satisfied only from a friendly staff. Also breakfast was very good, but the restaurant was very small and sometimes we waited 15 or more minutes for free table.

Basically the hotel is good, with nice conference and weeding halls, but the hotel is far, far away from 5 stars. I stayed in Double room with city view and I can say that kind of rooms are exactly like in 3 star hotels. There is no balcony, the room was very small and uncomfortable. I am surprised from the housekeeping also. Few days we used the same soap which is unexpected for that type of hotel. I will no recommend double rooms to anybody. The other rooms should be better, I hope :)

In order to go to Kavala you need a car. But the location is perfect if you want to be by the sea

Friendly staff, spacy comfortable and well-maintained rooms, rich breakfast, wonderful kitchen at restaurant, sandy beach near the hotel.

Very clean, nice staff, excellent amenities. The pool is excellent, is close to the beach and hotel provides you with towels and free beds and umbrellas. Also you get free parking, wireless internet is everywhere, the breakfast is consistent. Excellent for a short vacation, relaxing, kids like ot.

There is not much to do and see in Kavala, the city is not so clean. If you want to rent a boat, you have to drive to the second village (15 km west), Nea Iraklitsa, where boats are available.

The hotel staff in the restaurants (pool & breakfast) was impecable and friendly. Food was simple but delicious. The pool was always clean and my child could play there without any worries. There is a lifeguard on duty. There are no "animators" in the pool disturbing people. The pool works in civilized times, from 10 to 18 so people can actually have fun and rest. The beach is next to the hotel although a little rocky for my standards. The hotel has part of the beach reserved for its guests.The place is beautiful. The rooms are incredibly new and clean and the room service comes quickier than you expect. They also upgraded me to bigger a seaview room. I spent six night there and I recommend it.

The hotel permits pets, mainly dogs. They scare children and make noise. Some of the guests wanted even to go to the pool area, but the hotel staff was always firm about this prohibition. Front desk staff was polite, not friendly. It´s ok, but it´s bad if you compare to the restaurant and pool staff.

Excellent hotel ! after reading the many comments before booking my wife and I were really pleasantly surprised. The hotel went through a full refurbishment 2.5 years ago so the facilities and the rooms are very nice. We took a junior suite with a sea view which I would highly recommend. The staff were very nice and friendly. We look forward to our next trip back to the hotel (fell in love with Kavala).

View, Location near to Kavala (15 min to the center on foot) and 1-2 km to the best beach Batis, good restaraunt, good breakfast, very nice wild beach from one side of the hotel and municipality Kalamitca from the other side. Good pool area. / Потрясающий вид на море Расположен в 15 минутах ходьбы от центра Кавалы и в 1-2 км от лучшего пляжа северного побережья - Батис. Хороший ресторан, хороший завтрак, очень милый дикий пляж с одной стороны отеля и муниципальный -каламица, с другой. Хороший бассейн

Wi-fi doesn't work in some rooms which are situated far from / . Вай-фай в дальних номерах почти не ловиться.

The hotel is placed very nearly to Kavala, has its own beach and is very comfortable for young couples and families with children

This is my third time I spent my holiday at Lucy Hotel. This time I am quote disappointed because of the followign three reasons: 1. The rooms are not not cleaned regularly, i.e. every day 2. There is no space or facililities for chioldren to play and enjoy the summer 3. The breakfast between 9.00 and 10.00 am was a big problem because of the lack of enougn space and too many people in one relatively small room

Room rate for high season is ok. Big rooms with poor design. Lovely location.Standard 3* breakfast.

Dirtiest beach I ever saw!:( They rent the territory on public beach and do not maintain it at all . Definetely not a 5*, silly trick with stars.Why?:) My score is 3+* at the moment.Needs investments into interiors and territory.

I liked the food, position of the hotel, reasonable cost, service.

Environment around the hotel.

The hotel is nice. Everything is well organised. They have their own sunbeds on the beach. You just need to ask for a key at the reception to unlock the sunbeds and the umbrella. You have to pay 5 euros deposit but then it will be given back. Breakfast is really nice. If you have only bed and breakfast option, you can pay 15 euros per person and enjoy their dinner buffet which is very good as well. Pool bar is really relaxing and nice during the evenings - nice music and cocktails. Bus 5 can take you directly to city center. Otherwise walking is 45 min to the city center. We really enjoyed our stay there. Have fun :)

The buffet breakfast needs a real espresso machine. The coffee served during the breakfast tastes like water. But you can order espresso and pay for it.
