Lucy Hotel  

The hotel rooms were very large and spacious. All of the rooms had a great view of Glycoriza bay as well as the pool. The pool was also very nice and large enough. The reception was very helpfull and kind.

The only problem was.. the hotel owner.... He was a grouchy man who spoke really bad to his employees. His face was always moody and he looked at all clients (us) as if he couldn't wait to get rid of them.

Friendly staff, good services and facilities.

Friendly staff, breakfast was very good, the room for three persons was big enough, the sea view was beautiful...

For five stars, the hotel, has not spa, activity to spend time, gym..., Only an outside pool with a short program (10.00 - 18.00)

Location and the seaview is nice.

Employees are not very helpful and enough professional. Whatever you ask the receptionist they say ''they don't know''. As we can't speak Greek it is difficult to find out the answers elsewhere. Our simple questions were ''Is the are code same for the town of Ketamoti'' and the answer is ''I don't know''. The second question we asked was the date (month) of the concert that was advertised at the hotel entrance. The answer was again ''I don't know''. That brochure was just 5 steps away from the receptionist and we were amazed by the answer. As we can't read the month in Greek we couldn't tell whether it was this month or next. Another experience was in regards to housekeeping. There was an entry to our room (after the room was cleaned, sometime in the afternoon). There was no reason to reenter the room and we asked the receptionist why there was an entry. We wanted to make sure that it was housekeeping or maintenance for some reason. But again they didn't know who entered the room. We just hoped it was not an unauthorized entry.

The hotel was lovely, the setting on the Aegean Sea was beautiful! The room was clean and well taken care of. We found the prices in the grill to be very reasonable and enjoyed a simple dinner there 2 nights. The nearness to Phillipi was awesome ~ we really enjoyed learning more about the Apostle Paul!

The breakfast was "ok" the hotel was very clean and the good thing also was exactly on the sea side. wireless internet was available all over the hotel

It does not represent a "5" star hotel it could be a "3" star hotel, no spa were available this is unacceptable for a "5" star hotel, the breakfast also not fair for a "5" star hotel.

"Coldy" decoration, wifi didn't work

Nice location near the sea, nice roon and friendly staff. Breakfast was also nice with big variety

In order to go to Kavala you need a car. But the location is perfect if you want to be by the sea

Friendly staff, spacy comfortable and well-maintained rooms, rich breakfast, wonderful kitchen at restaurant, sandy beach near the hotel.

Very clean, nice staff, excellent amenities. The pool is excellent, is close to the beach and hotel provides you with towels and free beds and umbrellas. Also you get free parking, wireless internet is everywhere, the breakfast is consistent. Excellent for a short vacation, relaxing, kids like ot.

There is not much to do and see in Kavala, the city is not so clean. If you want to rent a boat, you have to drive to the second village (15 km west), Nea Iraklitsa, where boats are available.

The hotel staff in the restaurants (pool & breakfast) was impecable and friendly. Food was simple but delicious. The pool was always clean and my child could play there without any worries. There is a lifeguard on duty. There are no "animators" in the pool disturbing people. The pool works in civilized times, from 10 to 18 so people can actually have fun and rest. The beach is next to the hotel although a little rocky for my standards. The hotel has part of the beach reserved for its guests.The place is beautiful. The rooms are incredibly new and clean and the room service comes quickier than you expect. They also upgraded me to bigger a seaview room. I spent six night there and I recommend it.

The hotel permits pets, mainly dogs. They scare children and make noise. Some of the guests wanted even to go to the pool area, but the hotel staff was always firm about this prohibition. Front desk staff was polite, not friendly. It´s ok, but it´s bad if you compare to the restaurant and pool staff.

Very good and clean hotel.I recommend it everyone.
