The hotel was very luxurious and very reasonably priced. Probably the best value for money hotel I've stayed in. Best location and excellent service. Didn't like the shower - but these are being renovated throughout hotel. An LCD Tv would have been nice and would have suited the surroundings although this didn't matter too much. Overall the Lydia is an excellent choice.

Good location to the city center. Breakfast was good. I had chosen this hotel because of the reputation, although I regret my choice. We paid € 100 per day, not worth!!! The first room we got was absolutely shocking (No 117). Be aware that not all rooms are "renovated" ("renovated" also are in bad shape). When we finally changed the room the girl at reception refused to speak to us next days. Other staff could be more smiling. Do not expect good view from the window! Also be aware that bathroom is very small. Isolation is bad. I left complain in the guest book and afterwords I found out that the page is torn out. I wouldn't recommend this hotel!

The location is very convenient for the city visit and also for the beach. It has a four star quality, and the price for the high sason was so good. Breakfast was good, and the staff was solution oriented. Shopping area, cafes and restaurant were all around. The shower is so narrow.

Perfect place to stay in Rhodes town. In the center of new town but on a very silent road. Staff at the front desk were so polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet was more than sufficient. Some of the Superior Rooms has no balcony and the window looks through a wall just 50cm away. So be aware of choosing to stay in a superior room. Other standard rooms are better than superior rooms.

Unfortunately the price was too high for the services provided. € 95 per day was too high for this hotel. It was noisy, I could even hear my neighbors talking in my bathroom. I found the soap of the previous resident in the bathroom!!! There was no desk or any other place to put my laptop (in the site it was mentioned) and I was trying to work in bed... The view from my room was awful... Just the windows of my neighbors. Finally it was necessary for me to leave one day earlier and even if I informed the reception one day earlier I paid 1/2 of the price per day (after a lot of discussion, as long as they tried to convince me that I should pay more). I will never visit this hotel again.

It is located in a quiet area of the city but not as close to the sea as expected. We are a young couple and although we asked for a double bed, a triple one was offered instead and the hotel's staff described it as "superior". Probably because the price of the room corresponded to a superior one. As far as I know, the nmber of the beds does not make a room superior. Thus, I wouldn't give such a description to that, since there was no window at all in the room, a factor that made the room totally breathless. I wouldn't recomend it!

The members of staff were very nice, the location was very convenient, close to the old town, cafes and restaurants, and our bedroom was small but modern and clean. Do not expect to have a nice view from your room. The shower, though very powefull, was in a very small cubicle. Breakfast could improve with a bigger variety of fresh fruit and it would be nice if it wasn't served so early, as it finishes at 9.30.
