Standard quality room, fairly good breakfast buffet. Located in the newer section of town but easy walk to the old town area. I think this was a good choice as moving about in the old town would be more challenging. Taxi from the ferries were 7-8 Euros.

Location is great, right in the centre of everything. 5 mins walk to a lot of lovely restaurant, tamam being one of them! Although I would strongly recommend anyone who stay in Rhodes for holiday to rent a car even you are in the centre, there are still lots of attraction to go to and driving yourself there is flexible and cheap. Breakfast is not as bad as some of the review suggested, plenty of choice. We had the top floor apartment and we had to ask the reception to change us room or give us another sofa bed as it was just sooooo old and my children got bitten so badly, they did replaced us two fold up bed at the end but it was three nights of them sleeping of some dirty old sofa bed, in my opinion, they should have never offer anyone that horrible old thing in the first place. We have found two cockroaches two nights in a roll which was quite horrifying but I understand, they do exist in hot places... Overall, you get what you pay for, will I stay there again... No, because I now know I can arrange a car which I can pick up from the airport and rather stay somewhere out of the way rather than right in the middle of the centre :) nothing against the hotel its just nicer and cheaper that way.

The daytime staff (reception & bar) were very efficient and helpful and spoke good English. The public areas of the hotel were attractively laid out and comfortable. The location was good for the 'new' town, and access on foot to historic town and ferries. Room was small but comfortable and not actually cramped. For Greece it was a good breakfast buffet. The wifi was poor, low signal and very slow. If only they had tea and coffee in rooms in Greece....

lovely rooms; even though the hotel is in the city centre, there was hardly any noise to be heard (and our room was to the front); bathrooms nice and clean; great spot for reaching beach, restaurants, shops, the Old Town is close by, too a cold shower at 5 AM on a February morning is not for the faint-hearted ;-), my bed was a bit worn

We stayed a couple of nights whilst waiting for ferry connections and flights home. The location is excellent, being close to both the harbour and the old town. Breakfast, included in the room rate, is varied and plentiful. Shower cubicle is on the small side.

I stayed at the Lydia hotel with my 12 year old son. We liked the friendly and helpful staff, the location (100 metres away from the old town and easy walking distance to the harbour and the seaside where you can find the boat tour companies), cleanliness, good services and a good selection of breakfast. The hotel was also situated in the modern part of the New Town surrounded with many shops. The computers were not worked well.
