Lydia Hotel  

Clean comfortable modern room, friendly staff, ideal location for access to airport and ferries. We used this hotel for an overnight stay on our way from Rhodes to Leros. At the price we paid (35 euros) it was extremely good value for money and we will certainly use it again.

The location is very convenient for the city visit and also for the beach. It has a four star quality, and the price for the high sason was so good. Breakfast was good, and the staff was solution oriented. Shopping area, cafes and restaurant were all around.

The shower is so narrow.

I had chosen this hotel because of the reputation, although I regret my choice. We paid € 100 per day, not worth!!! The first room we got was absolutely shocking (No 117). Be aware that not all rooms are "renovated" ("renovated" also are in bad shape). When we finally changed the room the girl at reception refused to speak to us next days. Other staff could be more smiling. Do not expect good view from the window! Also be aware that bathroom is very small. Isolation is bad. I left complain in the guest book and afterwords I found out that the page is torn out. I wouldn't recommend this hotel!

the proximity to all the important parts of the city.close to the ferry port;the old city including the fortress & generally all people on holidays wish for.

we could not get onto the internet inside the hotel.staff,although obliging,blamed our laptop.however within 200 yards of the hotel we were able to be connected at a coffeee shop & a coffee shop/bar,without any problems. (this is not a complaint.it is a comment about a problem the hotel may have re the internet connection.)

The room was renovated with nice and confortable furniture. Bathroom comfortable and very clean. Position very close to ancient town, harbour, but at the same time in a small street, and therefore quiet in the night. High value for money. Buffet breakfast included.

Remote controller for Air Conditioning not available in the room. We had to go down in the hall during the night and ask it to the staff.

The location is excellent, short way to any part of the Rhodes Town, as well as the old town. The staff was friendly and helpful, however the first impression was quite dull, since they didn't say hello or not even anything when we first arrived. That felt unpolite. Later on the staff was acting in a more polite way. Breakfast was very good. Lots of different kind of food to choose.

Our 4-bed-room was on the 2.nd floor and there was only a small window heading towards the wall of the next buildind. The wall was about 20 cm:s of the window glass, so practically there was no light and no view at all. Beds were extremely tough, our backs were aching just after one night! The filter coffee was very thin... like almost coffee was missing and it was just brown heated water.

Everything worked, the hotel was comfortable and the staffwere helpful.
