Macaris Suites & Spa  

Excellent ! Tout était parfait. Nous avons séjourné au mois d avril 2012. Peu de monde dans l'hôtel. L acceuil est très sympathique, les appartements sont immenses et très luxueux et pourvus d un équipement haut de gamme. Cuisine très moderne, baignoire balnéothérapie, lit très confortable, balcon geant avec table et canape donnant sur la mer au 7 étage. Une vue imprenable. La piscine est très agréable, à l abris du vent, au soleil toute la journée. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, avec jus d orange frais pressé et copieux (buffet). Nous recommandons vraiment cette hôtel.

Rien Le Spa est en construction à coté de la piscine. Il semble bientôt fini.

Propre, grands espaces, piscine sympa, bon petit déjeuner, personnel aux petits soins, billard.

L'hotel est encore en cours de rodage. Par exemple, le "spa" est encore virtuel... N'accepte pas le règlement par Master Card.

The suites themselves were of a good size, clean, modern and with a well equipped kitchen. The pool was always quiet during our stay - almost like our own private pool on most days. The Greek salad on the menu was very good.

There is no Spa, plain and simple! The "beach" is the sorriest excuse for a beach and no one in the right mind would spend any time on it. Dirty, litter strewn sand, graffiti covered walls - stay by the pool! The location of the hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the old town and it's bars and restaurants. As others have mentioned, this is along a busy main road with pavement work underway and not looking like being completed anytime soon. The hotel breakfast was poor - we only bothered going the once. The hairdryer is located in the bathroom (and not very powerful) - this means one person can't dry their hair whilst the other is in the shower as it's too steamy/damp - take your own.

The staff were very nice and helpful. They helped with giving directions to places around Rhythmnon. The hotel is very family friendly. The jacuzzi was a nice touch. The hotel staff opened the sofa in the living room to turn it into a bed for our girls- good value for money. The view of the sea from the sitting area was amazing.

The pictures on website are not exactly what tge hotel looks like. Tge furnishings are old especially the television sets. Our bedding was not changed just turned. The gym Had very limited equipment, was not in use more than half the time we stayed there. Tge tines for tge gym and swimming pool were very limiting, opened late morning and closed early. The food at tge restaurant was tge same every morning. Parking is a problem.

Wonderfull view, friendly staff, luxurius, clean and comfortable rooms, quite but yet near in the center of the city. Recomended 100%!

Everything! The rooms were sleek and luxurious. The beds were incredibly comfortable--the most comfortable beds we were on during our entire trip in Greece. Upon our arrival we found complimentary wine, fruit plate, and water. In particular, on concierge was incredibly helpful with directions--we rented a car to explore the island--and any other questions we had along the way. Breakfast service was good and the pool side was gorgeous. The entire stay was incredible. We decided to pay a bit extra and it was well worth it. If you can afford it, stay here!

The hotel, while beautiful inside and out, is in the middle of a lot of on-going construction. The roads around the hotel are not the prettiest site--this didn't affect the quality of our stay, but it was noticeable.

Room Size and heated jacuzzi

Wonderfull appartments with a great view and huge balconys. It is in fact as great as it looks at the photos! If you walk into town you can walk a little up the hill where the hotel lies and then continue on the back-roads untill you reach the city park. Much nicer walk! Good thing about the location is that you are out of the busy tourist area and in a quiet residential area. If you walk/drive west along the mainroad there are really great restaurants by the sea.

Only negative thing is walk into town. The main road is very busy and you walk on the street. It does however seem they are building pavements along some of the road.

Die Wohnung war sehr groß und komfortabel eingerichtet (Küche mit Geschirrspüler, Wohnzimmer, 2 Schlafzimmer, Bad mit WC, Extra-WC. Die Terrasse war sehr großzügig, geschmackvoll möbliert und von allen Wohnräumen begehbar. Der Pool mit Terrasse war ebenfalls schön angelegt und gepflegt. Mittags wurden die Mahlzeiten auch am Pool serviert. Gute Infrastruktur rund um das Hotel.

Das Wasser im Pool wurde leider nicht geheizt und war daher noch sehr kalt (unter 20°C). Das Frühstück war im Verhältnis zum Angebot sehr teuer.

De locatie was mooi ,uitzicht was prachtig, ruime kamers met mooi balcon.

Høj service fra personalets side. Manager sørgede med kort varsel for at vi kunne blive hentet fra lufthavnen, idet der var taxi strejke. Stor alsidig morgen buffet. Store altaner som alle har havudsigt.

Bestillingssystemet er ikke godt nok fordi vi ikke fik det som vi havde forventet. Havde bestilt suite med 2 soveværelser. Da vi kom fik vi anvist en suite m/opredning og 1 soveværelse. Vi gjorde opmærksom på fejlen og fik straks anvist en suite med 1 soveværelse & hems, hvor vi havde regnet med 2 soveværelser I samme plan. Vi havde regnet med en lejlighed på ca. 80 kvm. Og fik en på skønsmæssigt 65 kvm. Konklusion - Du kan ikke være sikker på hvad det egentligt er du bestiller og betaler for !

For en stor familie på 6 var dette et utmerket sted. Det var også utrolig deilig med den store terrassen.
