El lugar es hermoso, y la propietaria es un encanto.

La casera es muy amable, se preocupa por el confort de los clientes y nos ofreció una exquisitez del país el primer día y el último. Nosotros no hablamos inglés y ella se esforzó por entendernos y hacerse entender. Estuvimos alojados muy confortablemente. Un abrazo para Thomasis.

Feeling like grandma's place. Warm welcome (and sweet too, thanks to the owner who was waiting for us with an amazing apple pie!). Plenty of terraces nearby and close to shops and port. Thank you Thomais for everything.

The proprietor was lovely and helpful. The area is perfect, right in old town, easy to explore. The room is separated into bedroom and living room/kitchen, so it would be ideal for long stays, and for making your own meals if you wanted to. The bed was very comfortable, as is the bathroom. The decor is beautiful, as is the balcony, which looks over a floral courtyard.

It is a little expensive, but definitely worth the price, especially for the size, location, and hospitality.

We can only support what all the others have written about Thomais and Madonna Studios. She is a lovely lady, that took care of us all the time, baking pies, recommending restaurants and places to visit. She even saw us to the taxi when we left, to make sure that the we were really picked up and driven to the airport. We have no complaints about the room. We stayed in number 4 and loved it. Everything was as clean as it could be and we would like to return to Madonna studios and Thomais.

We liked everything. But if you are the sort of person that want complete privacy, this is may be not a place for you, as it's quite open, and the rooms are circled round a court yard. But we loved it.

We liked everything about Madonna Studios. Our room was simply and tastefullly decorated, and always kept spotlessly clean. The location, right in the centre of Chania's old town, was central but quiet. But, really, what sets this place apart from all others is Thomais, who runs the place. Her genuine warmth, generosity and great kindness make this a very special place indeed. We will never forget our time there. We will never forget lovely Thomais.

The hostess was lovely and was very generous in bringing in homemade treats for us. She had a great local knowledge and was very helpful in recommending local restaurants, gelato shops and beaches to visit. The building was charming as was the room. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay with a beautiful internal courtyard. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is situated in a quiet street of the old town of Chania, but very close to the main restaurants, cafés, etc. The room (ours was number 4) was very clean and spacious. But I think that what we liked the most was the owner's hospitality: always very nice and smiley, nothing was much of a trouble and also made us delicious biscuits and pies. It was almost as staying at family place.

The host of Madonna Studios, Thomais, is what really what makes it stand out. The studios are spotless and in a great location but Thomais really makes Madonna Studios such a hospitable place. She is enthusiastic about telling people about Crete and offers great suggestions for excursions and restaurants. She even made us Cretan sweet cheese pies! Very nice location and super clean. Kind of high in price but well worth it if you are looking for good Greek hospitality.

Madonna Studios is breathtakingly beautiful. It's location in a cozy alleyway and the close proximity to the port make it ideal. Tomais, the owner, is the kindest and most generous person I have ever met. She greeted us with a great apple pie and cookies and during our stay surprised us with cheese pie, honey, cheeses, and olive oil and fresh orange juice. She told us where the best restaurants were and always had a warm hello. We loved everything about our week stay! Highly recommend this studio! Certainly my favorite and I've traveled the world.

The host was very helpful and the location in Old Town Chania couldn't have been better. We stayed in a studio apartment on the third floor which had with two bedrooms, a balcony, and a patio. The fresh baked lemon cookies, apple pie, and cheese blintzes along with the coffee and orange juice provided for breakfast during our stay was a charming addition.

The location was perfect. Close walks to shopping, groceries, restaurants, and the waterfront. Simply amazing!!!

The location of Madonna Studios is in the old town and extremely close to everything one may wish to see and do in the old town. There is also a mini mart close by.The owner is very pleasant and helpful going out of her way to help us with information and provide us with special treats - cookies, pie, icecream. The rooms are clean and pleasant, they each have a small balcony space for sitting out on. There is a fridge in the room and the ability to make tea and coffee.

Nothing really except one night some people walking by on the street below were rather loud and seemed to hang about for a long time but that only happened once. It is a car free zone so it is generally a quiet location.
