Madonna Studios  

Madonna Studios is ideally located for the old city and its majestic harbour. This family run hotel looked after our every need. Our room was simple but full of character and extremely clean. It had a kitchenette which provided all facilities to make a basic meal which was wonderful for a stress free start to the day. We stayed in the top room with the large balcony which we used each morning and evening where we relaxed and discuss the events of the day. When we return to Crete we will certain stay at this establishment again.

The boss is very good and helped us a lot ! Chania is a excellent town and the location of this hotel is very good , clean room and comfortable . We really like this hotel !

The Madonna Studios are in a central but quiet location, minutes from the harbour and town, there is a small supermarket round the corner and cafe opposite to have breakfast. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and very clean, with plenty of clean towels and bed linen, we had a large balcony and terrace. There is a small kitchen with tea/coffee making facilities and fridge. Thomais who runs the Madonna Studios is a lovely lady who cannot do enough for her guests. On arrival she had made us apple cake and biscuits and during the week she gave us honey and cheese. She was there to help with anything that you wanted, restaurant recommendations and taxis etc. She took us to the taxi each time and on departure it was like saying goodbye to a friend.

We liked everything about Madonna Studios. Our room was simply and tastefullly decorated, and always kept spotlessly clean. The location, right in the centre of Chania's old town, was central but quiet. But, really, what sets this place apart from all others is Thomais, who runs the place. Her genuine warmth, generosity and great kindness make this a very special place indeed. We will never forget our time there. We will never forget lovely Thomais.

Super tidy and beautiful rooms in a very good location. The hostess is easily the nicest person you can find in this island of very friendly people. She is very invested in making your stay in Crete the best it can possibly be.

Everybody in the world should stay at The Madonna Studios, a quiet oasis away from our chaotic world. Discreetly run by the lovely Thomasi it's in the little passages of Xania old town close to the lovely port and the plethora of little shops and restaurants. Our room had 2 little balconies to sit in peace & read or think, we'll be going back.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street of the old town of Chania, but very close to the main restaurants, cafés, etc. The room (ours was number 4) was very clean and spacious. But I think that what we liked the most was the owner's hospitality: always very nice and smiley, nothing was much of a trouble and also made us delicious biscuits and pies. It was almost as staying at family place.

The owner was wonderful! She had homemade apple coffee cake and cookies waiting for us as well as fresh cold orange juice. She gave us a city map and made several great recommendations for dinner. The room was simple, yet quite functional and extremely clean. The locatons was very central in the old town 1 minute from the waterfront and harbor. Exceptional value.

Madonna studios is situated right in the heart of the charming old town of Chania. The apartments are situated in a quiet, cobbled street with no cars and are close to restaurants, coffee shops, the harbour and beach and mini supermarkets. It is the perfect location. However, without a doubt the best thing about Madonna Studios is Thomais the host. Nothing was too much trouble. She greeted us on arrival late at night with a homemade apple pie and Greek biscuits and one day brought us a special homemade breakfast. She cleaned and serviced the apartments every day and put fresh flowers in the rooms. We felt very lucky to be able to stay at Madonna Studios. Thank you Thomais. Noelene

The host was exceptional, she really does care about all her guest. Its 100% genuine. Nothing was too much bother. When we arrived she had a bottle of wine and apple tart for us. She was our resident tour guide and happily showed us the best spots around the town. At the end of the trip she even walked us to the taxi. We will be back, thats for sure.

Such a wonderful place to stay and relax! Beautiful accommodation, outstanding hostess, very clean, quiet. Any time again!

Thomais, the proprietress was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful, and full of information about the hotel, the history, and the area in general. The location within Chania was perfect, and the charm of the old greek village was perfect.
