Score from 1067 reviews Very good
Location was excellent. Easy walking distance to the Acropolis and New Acropolis Museum, Syntagma, Plaka and Monastiraki. Lots of good restaurants nearby and shopping on Ermou St. Breakfast on the rooftop with a stunning view of the Acropolis and a good selection food. The room was a good size, no view though. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
Our room windows opened onto a central internal stairwell which could be noisy at times. We would get the sounds of dishes being cleared from the restaurant on the roof. The bells from the cathedral can be heard through the night.
Excellent location. Views of acropolis from bedroom rooftop restaurant/breakfast with view of acropolis. clean and comfortable.
well I didn't really mind but be prepared to be woken up by very loud bells on the adjacent cathedral!
Great location. Staff were really helpful and friendly.
A little noisy
The view from the breakfast terrace is the only thing of value as one can see the Acropolis and Parthenon.
The bells from the church 50 metres outside the hotel chimed every hour and 1/2 hour - even in the early morning hours i.e 4 dongs at 4 a.m. - impossible not to be woken up unless deaf.
An excellent location, a clean hotel with a nice design, great people attending at the reception an at the restaurant. The view from the terrace is gorgeous, it´s worth go dinner there. Instead of going to those big hotels that are impersonal, this boutique hotel is the best place in town. Great value for the money!
The room that we have was a bit small
Accommodations were stark, toilet didn't flush/leaked around bowl, window opened onto interior stairwell, saggy mattress, no place to sit, not the view we were promised, shower door would not close, a lot of deferred maintenance.
Great location, view of the Acropolis the best in Athens, French doors with shutters and viole curtains blowing in the breeze, small balcony, church bells chiming. Quirky and wonderful? The staff are sensational and could not of been more helpful and charming
the bell chimes every hour so wakes u up very early
Wow, the location of this hotel is incredible. It only took us ten minutes to walk to the Acropolis, which is unfortunately the only sight we got to see, due to only having one night in Athens. Be sure to take advantage of the hotel guest discount you receive at the restaurant connected to this hotel - the food was amazing, and the view of the Acropolis lit up at night simply can't be beaten. It was a bonus when our server gave us three girls a bottle of wine, on the house! We had a room on the top floor, and the terrace we had was huge (also a view of the Acropolis). I would definitely stay here again, and hopefully next time for more than one night!
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, and the bathroom layout is quite odd.
View of Acropolis from breakfast terrace was stunning. Really beautiful room and hotel interior.
