Maison Grecque Hotel Extraordinaire  

Das Hotel Maison Grecque erweckt auf den Bildern einen angenehmen Eindruck. Es wirkt nach Design. Die Lage ist zu Einkaufen sehr gut, für Touristen ungeeignet.

Was auf dem Bildern nicht zu sehen ist, war die Begrenztheit an Raum im gesamten Hotel. Wir leben in Griechenland und hatten eine Suite Nr. 303 für 180€ gebucht und wollten den Heiligen Abend in Patras shoppen und den Abend gemütlich in der Badewanne oder im Whirlpool verbringen. In der Kommode fehlten zwei Schubladen (Bild 01), im Badezimmer hingen 2 Stromkabel an der Wand (Bild 02) der Raum (Bild 03) wirkte niedrig und gedungen. Raum im Hinterhof (Bild 04) war zur Suite umfunktioniert worden, Die Fenster im Vergleich zur Türe zeigen die Höhe der Suite. Leider gabt es weder Badewanne noch Whirlpool. Alle Gästezimmer waren sehr beengt, und wir hatten Schwierigkeiten beim Frühstück Platz (Bild 05) zu nehmen. Trotz des erkennbaren Designs, waren wir enttäuscht. Das Management war amateurhaft, meine Kreditkarte wurde bereits am 5.12. belastet, beim Auschecken verlangte man erneut den Betrag. Bis heute am 27.12. wurde meine Kreditkarte noch nicht entlastet. Luxuriöses Innenstadthotel mit dem besonderem Flair

Das hotel ist wirklich ein designhotel mit perfekter ausstattung und freundlichem kompetentem personal

Maison Grecque ist ein ungewöhnlich gutes Haus: Excellente, mit viel Liebe zum Detail geschaffene Ausstattung, aussergewöhnlich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Great location, beautiful beds and linen, friendly and helpful staff with a welcoming drink and treat. Very quiet, balcony attached.

The shower. The fibreglass base of the shower was extremely slippery and dangerous. It was also cracked. Difficult to work out the various 'shower taps'.

The cleaning rooms, decoration and good mattresses.

Poor TV channels. Poor breakfast Staff should improve its welcome in customers requests.

Very good variety for breakfast and very clean hotel.Excellent quality of matress and pillars.

They gave us a room with damaged cabin door in the douche.I Complained for that and they informed me that they have already known about this and they were expected for a technician to fix it.I Really disappointed for this situation in a hotel that claims that has 4 stars.So, I insisted in moving in another room, which eventually has not the facilities we have booked (E.G. balcony) and we didn't even take an oral excuse for the situation.

We very much appreciated the kindness of the staff, they were always eager to help us. We also liked the fact that this is a pet friendly hotel, we had our two little dogs with us and there was no problem with that. Also the whole building was renovated and decorated with great care and that gives a very special atmosphere to the whole place. The bed with very good quality pillows and matress was also very agreable.

We did not like the fact that our room was really very small with a third bed (not necessary as we were two persons) right in the middle of the room!! You could not move at all! The fact that the shower was broken and that water was runing on the bathroom floor each time we took a shower. The breakfast that is not a 4 star hotel breakfast: the breakfast was varied but not good quality enough. The tv channels that were very few for a 4 star hotel.

I like the room and the friendlyness

Bathroom Beds wi-fi worked well Location is okay - but a little hidden.

Empty breakfast buffet. No variety - all like starbucks items cakes and the like. All packet stuff and only hot thing was a fried egg that was like rubber, left on the hot plate too long. Inattentive staff. 'Anything you need, I will be in reception.' I go to reception - deserted. Not enough wall sockets for charging of phones and laptops. I had to unplug the fridge to charge my laptop. Taxi driver couldn't find hotel. Spent 10 euro looking for hotel. Hotel was only 5 minutes from bus station. Trying to be a four star but not getting it right.

Although located very close to the busy centre of Patras, our room was quiet and had a lovely balcony overlooking a courtyard. We felt very secure and privacy respected. The room was very clean and attractive in decor; comfortable bed and well-appointed with tea/coffee and mini bar, excellent ensuite with hairdryer, toiletries, large fluffy soft towels and reliable internet access. The breakfast was included in the room price and offered a wide variety of options, including local cuisine and a cooked option. Staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful, especially with local transport and restaurant options. The quality and range of shopping and restaurants nearby was excellent.

€4.00 for a very small glass of wine was expensive. Parking could be a problem in the crowded one way street.

I liked everything. It was the best service I have ever had, very nice staff.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were exquisite, friendly and the location to the city centre is a bonus. The rooms were delightful, and the beds were very comfortable. Really a jewel in the city...

Only problem we could find was the parking. I would recommend that anyone staying should be notified of the parking nearby and the prices. It's not expensive but we had to find out ourselves. My friends found it a bit noisy at night, but this is to be expected. It's in the city centre..I slept fine.

The hotel was wonderfully decorated with lavish furnishings, a truly relaxing haven from the hustle and bustle of Patra. The reception staff were very helpful when we asked questions but were not intrusive in any way. The breakfast was nice, with unusual pastries, it was something a little different from the usual Greek hotel breakfasts. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed Patra as a city too, it's a taste of real Greek life after a holiday on the islands. The bed was the comfiest I have ever slept on.

Our room was a little on the small side, perhaps feeling more so as the bed was so huge! Also we only had a bath, no shower, so check that if it's important to you. These are small criticisms that didn't bother us at all. We shall definitely be back!

The Interior Design, the friendly staff

The welcome was warm and friendly, the room extraordinary, the bathroom amazing and the balcony looking out onto the small quiet courtyard very much appreciated. The hotel is well situated if you want to go out to bars and restaurants and the breakfast very good. The décor is a big attribute, with old fashioned beds, mirrors and tapestries. We would stay again without a doubt.

A true 'boutique' hotel, the decor and furniture in rooms are magnificent. In addition the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

We had concerns about location but this was proven wrong. The room are well decorated. The staff was just incredible.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. the standard of this boutique hotel was very high. It had the feeling that the owner and staff really cared. I would defi itely recommend this hotel.

The room was a little dark even with al lighting on but this is a minor criticism measured against the outstanding overall experience.

We only stayed over one night and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

the super extra friendly stuff was so helpful and polite the breakfast was homemade with a extra care the rooms where perfectly decorated we didn't really whant to go out of the hotel super clean super quite everything was amazing and also in our budget

we received a lovely welcome on our arrival and everything about the hotel and the facilities was explained in detail. We were accomodated in room 301 which was a lovely room but as it was in the roof it only had one small window so we were totally reliant on artificial lighting. The room was also extremely warm, I guess because heat rises. therefore it took a long time for it to reach a comfortable temperature. Apart from that everything else was excellant and the 2 receptionists we encountered were a delight.
