Makis Place  

Was very clean, staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast served in the wonderful taverna this also serves excellent home cooked traditional greek food. Lovely swimming pool with views to sea. Great location and only a 5 min bus ride to central mykonos town . Hote insisted on giving us lifts to the town and then meeting up with us at the port to deliver our rather heavy back packs in time for us to catch our ferry to paros. Was really sorry to have not been able to stay longer - the pool was fab and it was so quiet there. Only thing some may not like is tht it has views of new harbour and big cruise ships - this did not bother us - this was true greek inhospitality at its best - simple, honest and truly relaxing

Everything was good, however the more fussy traveller may take issue with the older style fittings in the bathroom - these were spotlessly clean and did not bother us but this is not a luxury hotel - yet it is relaxing and very clean and run by a really kind family who ty very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible - nothing I too much trouble! This is a great little place to spend a few days - possibly not so good for those with small children as fab pool area could be a problem and there are may steps to all rooms.

Quite far from town, about a 30minute walk, but we hired a scooter to get around. Was nice to be away from the mayhem of the main town. Wifi signal not always strong.

Absolutely loved it! Makis and his family really do treat guests as part of their family and will do all they can to make sure that you are as comfortable as you should be. The location is very quite away from the busy and noisy town(it was high season late Aug) the room with the sea and pool view was to die for. Next time am in Mykonos am defiantly staying back at Makis Place.

Personnel and owners are most helpful and ready to offer the customers all sort of solution for arranging things locally. In fron of the new port area where the larger ferries depart and arrive. It is a perfect location for connection transfers that require a night stay on the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maki's Place. Maki and his family and staff really go out of their way to make you feel at home there. Although it is 20 min walk from the town there is a scooter hire next to the hotel and Agios Stefanos (think that is the beach name) is just round the corner. Its got a lovely laid back atmosphere at the hotel and the pool area is just lovely. We ate in the resturant the 3 nights we were there and the Greek Salad is one of the best I've had. They upgrade us to a Sea view room at our arrival. They picked us up but they could not take us to the airport as our flight was at 7:00am. They arranged us a taxi. We recomend it.

Maki and his family - very hard working and really want to make sure you are taken care of. The pool area is amazing and the food/service in the restaurant is very good. The rooms are plane and simple but you have everything you need.

The walk to town. However, I rented an atv for the time I was there and that solved the walking to town issue.

The owner and his sons are very nice and the hotel hasa familiar atmosphere.

Everythıng was nice and excellent. Maki is so nice, We'll come with our families next year.

The location is not so good for beaches

La piscina es bastante amplia y con unas vistas preciosas y el personal muy agradable.

Podria ajustarse un poco más el precio a la calidad de las intalaciones, ya que fue el hotel que nos salio más caro de todo nuestro viaje a Grecia y aunque estaba bastante bien no fue ni mucho menos el mejor.

Il complesso di piccole casette è suggestivo esteticamente, sembra di essere in un piccolo paesino. Lo staff è gentile. La piscina con vista sul mare è un ottimo incentivo per il soggiorno.

Ottimo hotel a conduzione familiare per rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Personale sempre presente e rassicurante. Padre e figlio parlano ottimamente l'ialiano . la cucina e' aperta fino alla 24 con buoni piatti della tradizione greca. Bella piscina.

serviabilité du patron qui, en plus, parle très bien français. implantation de cet hotel qui est juste en face du nouveau port. Sa "vraie piscine" qui n'a pas les dimensions d'une baignoire. Par contre le village de Tourlos est quasi inéxistant et situé à 3 km de Mykonos. Une navette assure toutefois la liaison avec les ferries qui abordent encore à l'ancien port (essentiellementles les hydrofoils)

El personal es muy atento y voluntarioso; el trato ha sido exquisito. La piscina es de lujo.

La publicidad del Hotel es engañosa. Es falso que las habitaciones tengan balcon con vistas y camas confortables, nosotros teniamos una habitación en la planta baja sin balcon y con vistas a una pared, se te clavaban los muelles del colchón y los chirridos de la cama al moverte eran desesperantes. Es falso que esté al lado de una estación de autobuses, lo que hay es una parada de autobús que pasa cada hora y es la única linea que no tiene conexión con ninguna otra linea y hay que cruzar luego la ciudad para coger cualquier otro autobus. Es falso que tenga una playa accesible cerca: hay una playa a 1 km pero por una carretera estrecha muy transitada y peligrosa para ir a pie. El aseo estaba desvencijado, mal cuidado y roto. El desayuno aburrido muy poco variado y triste.

L'acceuil est tres sympa, le personnel et le responsable aussi.Nous avons eu un uprgade avec vue sur mer,car il avait de la diso et voulait nous faire plaisir. -le transfert de chez Makis et l'aéroport/ port est gratuit et le contraire. -Restaurant qui est ouvert toute la journee jusqu a minuit ou on y mange tres bien. -Le petit dej est servi jusqu'à 11h (sympa quand on est en vacances) avec sucre-sale (basic). -La propreté de l établissement est très correcte, les chambres sont faites tout les jours et les serviettes sont change tout les jours aussi. -La piscine est un peu petite mais agréable tout de meme, avec une belle vue et des transat gratuit. -Possibilite de location de scooter sur place, ce qui est génial car pas besoin de courir et négocier avec toutes les agences.prix tres correcte entre 15 et 23 euros/jour(depend de la saison) -distance : 5min jusqu au centre(Chora) en scooter ou voiture- Le bus passe devant l hotel toutes les heures pour toutes destinations.

Zeer vriendelijke en gedienstige uitbaters en medewerkers. Er hangt een heel gemoedelijke sfeer en het is er aangenaam vertoeven. Het hotel bevindt zich vlakbij de haven en Maki zorgt voor het vervoer naar de luchthaven.

Il personale veramente cortese e disponibile, la buona pulizia di camera/bagno, il climatizzatore (anche se non è servito) non era a pagamento.

Purtroppo nella colazione non era compresa la frutta fresca.

Je n'ai pas aimé grand chose dans cet hotel, mis à part peut être la situation

Les chambres sont petites , les salles de toilettes sont minuscules . le petit déjeuner est notoirement insuffisant en qualité. La vue sur la mer est une véritable arnaque. La piscine est toute petite. inutile donc d'y aller, pour le prix c'est de l'abus.
