The staff were amazing! There was a ferry strike from Athens to Poros and I received an email from the owner telling me how to get to the Island so our holiday wasn't ruined. Everything was absolutely fabulous - location, cleanliness, price, people.

We were Island hopping and the location just opposite the port was fantastic as we could check in and see what Poros had to offer. The rooms were above average for the price paid and staff were excellent.

We had an alley view room (which was as per booking, so no issue) but there were pigeons roosting on the balcony opposite which was a bit off putting.

The location of the Manessi Hotel is superb, with wonderful views from the balcony. No better place to drink an evening Ouzo and watch the sunset. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are any number of great restaurants, bars and tavernas within a short walk of the hotel. Anyone who likes fresh fish, octopus, calamari and traditional Greek food look no further. As I write this I realise what a great holiday we've just had. As the man said, we shall return.

The staff at the manessi hotel went above and beyond to provide an assistance that was needed during our sat with them. The location of the hotel is also perfect, being one minute from where the ferry drops you off, fantastic!

Excellent situtation right at the arrival of all the ferrys and surrounded by the port and restaurants.

WiFi is present but not a very strong signal.

The staff were very politely and helpful, the atmosphere very cheerfull. Don´t miss to enjoy the breakfast at your balcony with a view to the habour as a special service ot the hotel.

This hotel is one of the best (if not the best) "value for money"- hotels Ive stayed in, in Greece. And since Ive been to over 15 islands in Greece I have a few to compare with. Location is perfect, just some 50-100 meters from where the Flying Dolphins from Pireus stop. Close to everything (=buses to the beaches, restaurants, bars and the Clock Tower) in the small town of Poros. Rooms are really clean and comfortable with AC and have tv with international channels. Staff are excellent! VERY helpful and will do everything they can to help you during your visit. I spent 4 days in Poros but by mistake only booked the first two nights at the Manessi. And this during the absolute high season. However, when I arrived I told the staff that if possible Id like to stay another two nights and they sorted this out within 24 hours. I recommend any person travelling to Poros to stay at the Manessi. It dont get much better than this for the prices they ask. If I return to Poros (still have a few other islands to discover first) I most certainly will stay at the Manessi again.

Since the hotel is located on a hillside there are some 15 steps to reach the entrance. This makes it difficult for a person in a wheelchair. Other than this I cant see one reason not to like the hotel.

It's location is excellent as a base forr Island Hopping. Regrettably Hellenic Seaways are having problems and constantly change their timetable. Ferries are few from |Poros [1 a day] and the Cats and Dolphins which serve most of the Islands in the chain are fully enclosed which spoilts the 'cruising' quality of being at Sea.

The Entrance is 2 flights of outdoor stairs from street level, 19 and 8, the second of marble which can be very slippy with no handrail. This was not made plain and I was recovering from 3 foot Operations. It was extremely difficult and painful at the start of our Holiday but with the help of the Staff and my friends, by the end I was able to negotiate them with alacrity. It should however, be made plain that this is the case, in case older / injured Guests have mobility problems.

Nice little hotel run by a family from Poros, very clean, excellent help and care from the staff - lovely view from our room, with a balcony. Great location, just a few feet away from the Dolphin ferry landing.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly people. The location is excellent as it is located just beside the seashore.

There was no breakfast.

Vi bokade på Poros för att ha nära till Atén under en vecka, samt sol och bad. Veckan därpå mönstrade vi på en hyrbåt i Poros för en veckas segling med goda vänner. Manessi valde vi för läget samt med balkonger mot hamn och hav. Personalen var mycket servicevänlig och hjälpsam och det var rent och snyggt. Vår vecka var mycket lyckad med endast 10 min till bad o strand samt ett stort utbud av restauranger utanför dörren.

Het hotel is gelegen recht tegenover de aanlegkade van de flying dolphins en aan de gezellige en drukke kade van Poros. Toch hebben we geen last gehad van (nacht)lawaai door de uitstekende isolatie. De kamer en badkamer zijn ruim en netjes, het personeel vriendelijk.

De prijs voor het ontbijt ligt hoog.

Hotel extremement bien situé, sur le port, parfait pour un sejour hors saisons ( sans doute très bruyant en haute saison), personnel très serviable et disponible, chambre vue mer très agréable ( nous avons été surclassés).
