This is a wonderful place to stay run by a very kind, caring and friendly family who do anything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. My girlfriend and I showed up just as they were opening for the day, hoping to check-in early. We were warmly greeted with open arms, coffee and sweets, and shown to our room to catch a nap. The owners showed us some places of interest to visit and suggested some great places to eat. The room was immaculate, comfortable and had a great view of the sea and surrounding area. I absolutely recommend this place to stay and can't thank the owners enough for their hospitality and generosity.

The moment I walked into my room, I knew it would be the perfect place to stay. When I am in another country, I want to live as the locals do. The room was clean, and nicely decorated. The views of the town and marina were wonderful. Sitting out on the balcony with that first morning coffee was so relaxing. The beautiful chimes of the little churches in the am was pleasant to hear, and a convenient clock alarm. But what made the stay so great, were the owners, and their lovely daughter. They could not be more helpful, in any aspect. It was so nice, at the end of a busy day, to have a nice cup of tea in the lounge, and have Costas give an impromptu talk about the history of the town, and surroundings, to hear the family's love of music, and sharing to the passion the family has as proprietors. Being a solo traveller, I started to feel like family. Agios Nikolaos, certainly is a wonderful place to vacation, and to top it off, Mantraki, was an excellent choice for a hotel. This holiday can do nothing but bring back the most pleasant of memories.

The hotel is family run and made all the difference to the hotel. The family are so friendlly and so helpful. They go over and above what is required, not only did they provide informaiton on the local area resturatns, bars and beaches plus events that also gave us lifts to the further away beaches and to our pick up point. Plus free raki and cheese pies all the time. The hotel is very well positioned for the town, beaches and habour. The rooms have an amazing view over the harbour and are well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel for those looking for a hotel with character and not an anonymous faceless hotel. This hotel and the owners made our holiday one we won't forget.

The locatian in perfect, the bedroom is nice, the bed is sleeps good and it's not very expensive. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Theres no privicy, when you sit on the balcony you look into the appartment of your neighbour. The bench isn't comfortable to sit on (its the third bed). The shower is very small (60cm wide). We stayed in apartment 301 with seaview. I would give the appartment a 7 not a 9

It was a wonderful experience. The apartment was clean, spacious, confortable, and in a great location. The family that runs the hotel is very kind, helpful and made my stay delightful. I highly recommend Mantraki Hotel Apartments and if I go back to Ag. Nikolaos I will definitely stay there again.

For a female solo traveller Mantraki provided a safe and very friendly environment, conveniently situated for both both beach and shops yet situated in aquiet area. The apartments were attractive and the staff very helpful.

Family run hotel. All very friendly and helpful. No issues at all with the room and facilities. As there were only two of us we preferred the air con to be in the lounge, unlike a previous reviewer who wanted it in the bedroom.

The owners & staff made you so welcome and during your stay they made sure you were happy with everything to do with being there.The atmosphere was relaxed and the hotel it's self was homely traditional and a pleasure to be there.

A very nice place. Perfectly located - close to everything in the town, yet quiet. Helpful owners, friendly staff. Wi-Fi working fine. A free parking behind the hotel with direct access to the building. The sea- view rooms seem to be a better option not just because of the view, but also because they have one large balcony ( a nice place to sit down for a drink ) instead of 2 or 3 smaller ones as it is in the case of town- view rooms. We stayed in A. Nikolaos for 3 nights and were quite happy to make Mantraki our choice.

Basically, everything was fine, no complaints. Just 1 shortcoming : the air-conditioning, which is working fine, is located in the living room only, not in the bedroom. So if you are more than a party of 2 and will stay there in summer, when it's hot, be prepared to keep the door between the living and the bedroom open - also at night. The other thing : you are given only 1 key to your appartment upon your arrival. So again, if you are more than a party of 2, don't forget to ask the owner for the 2nd key, unless you move around together all the time ( the hotel entrance door is locked after 10 pm ).

The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. Optimum location both to visit the city and to go to the near beaches. The staff is very kind and willing to satisfy every need you may have. Just note that it is necessary to inform the staff about the type of bedroom that you prefer (if 2 single beds or just 1 double-bed)

We loved our stay at the Mantraki Hotel Apartments. The staff were so welcoming and just couldn't do enough for us. The apartment was bright and airy with a big balcony offering lovely views to the marina and the sea beyond. We found everything we needed and the apartment was cleaned every two days. We cannot recommend Mantraki Hotel Apartments enough!

There is nothing we didn't like about Mantraki Hotel Apartments, except that we had to come home!

The decoration of the room with its traditional style. It had the style of the countryside houses despite the fact that it is located very close to the center of Agios Nikolaos. Also, the owners (staff) were very friendly, outgoing and willing to offer their services at any time during the day.

There is nothing bad to add for Mantraki. Everything was excellent.

We love the location and price but the most we love were the people in this hotel.They so nice and friendly and they treated as like own family ,very helpful and even play greek music in the lobby for us.Thank you so much for everything!!!

Very nice athmosphere, typical Greek architecture, friendly and extremely hospitable staff, personal attention, excellent location, walking distance to the beach and to the shopping center, the lake, restaurants. Spacious rooms, fully equipped with kitchen and utensils.
